Not today, but yesterday: My local Walmart doesn't seem like they'll be having The LEGO Ninjago Movie sets anytime soon, so I made the trip out to Toys R Us. Got the Mech Dragon, Ninjago City Chase, and Spinjitzu Training. Also got several Minifigures: Hooded Lloyd, Cole, Garmadon, Volcano Garmadon, Sushi Chef, N-Pop Girl, and Jay Walker. Oh, and also that book that comes with Training Outfit Cole.

Almost finished Ahsoka, then starting Catalyst, both Star Wars books. I've been a Star Wars fan basically all my life but never really read any of the books. Thought I'd change that, so a couple weeks ago I bought two comics (Han Solo and Obi-Wan & Anakin) and two novels. Finished the comics and, as I said, finishing up the first novel. Not regretting it at all!

Forgive me if this has been done before, but I recently made a Willrow Hood using The LEGO Batman Movie's Arkham Asylum jumpsuit. He's even complete with an R2-D2 body as the "ice-cream maker".

Spider-Man Homecoming as well.

Wow, those look great! Yup, I'm gonna have to get that BB-8. So we get a red guard "action figure" but not a minifigure? Ah well, next wave I guess.

I've always been kind of a movies and TV series guy, but the other day I bought the Obi-Wan & Anakin and Han Solo comic books, and I must say I really enjoyed them! Hope to also get some novels another time.

Wow, TLBM's getting a lot more stuff than TLM, but then I guess it has more characters and vehicles to draw from. Not complaining though! But with this, Ninjago Movie and The Last Jedi, I dunno how I'm gonna swing this fall Glad to hear we're getting more Batman variants. Hoping it will have the St. Batrick's Day Suit, 'cause we need a green Batman suit! Can't think of what the other Robin would be other than Nightwing, which would be fantastic. Thanks for the info, @Sir von Lego! By the way, do you know if the Batgirl in the Harley Quinn set is her regular purple costume or something different? Because she did have some other costumes for a brief moment like the Pink Power one in the CMFs. Thanks!

Wait, Coleman Trebor is in a Battle Pack? So it's a Jedi Battle Pack? (I assume the Ki-Adi Mundi minifig mentioned earlier is in it as well.) Man, LEGO's spoiling us with these awsome Battle Packs lately!

Yeah, the graphics don't look that great. Maybe it's because I'm used to seeing the characters in their super-realistic movie form? I dunno. I hope this game has original cutscenes. The LEGO Movie Videogame just showed clips from the film. Either way, I probably won't be able to resist getting this. EDIT: I watched it again and did notice the minifigs have plastic seam lines and occasional scratches and dirt on them. I must admit those are some pretty cool details.

I think Garmadon's unarmoured upper torso piece might be this piece backwards, with the arms facing the other way. You can see the ridges on the back, especially on Volcano Garmadon.

Wow, I love the Unikitty and Batman shirts! Cole's shirt literally says AC-DC in their made-up alphabet. Think this is the first time a stud-shooter appeared in a Minifigure series. Overall, great series. Like the sets, there's not many here I don't want, which means August is going to be expensive!

I kinda hope Dareth is in the movie. It'd be cool if we saw him. We're only missing Zane and Cole in their high school outfits now, so we could see them too.

Are you sure? I did a quick mock-up in LDD with the piece and they look pretty much the same. If it's not, it's pretty darn similar.

I could be wrong, but the Shark Army General' hair looks like Series 14's Zombie Businessman's in black and turned sideways.

These minifigs look fantastic! But... is Sensei Wu any different than his minifig in the sets? Looks like we'll get Lloyd's Green Ninja suit as well. Loving the scarf, bowl, and spoon. Shark Army General's my favorite so far.

Like the use of Sabine's hair in green for a plant! And is that a scarf I spy? That's new, right?

I love how Cole's just got his arms crossed and is sliding down with his feet. Hope to see a trailer!

Yeah, TLBM had a trailer at Comic-Con last year, so I imagine Ninjago will. My best guess, anyways.

Daaang. I would have loved to have LEGO Tintin and Universal Monsters... and Shrek. Obviously.
