  1. I will get some pics up by tomorrow, probably, I just wont have access to my camera till tomorrow. I thought the same thing, that the Arkham set needed more jail cells for ALL the villains, hence my combining the 2. Then I noticed my original Arkham set all by itself, and thought it was a waste, so I had to "incorporate" it into 1 giant Arkham. Basically with all 3 sets combined, its shaped like a giant "L" shape, and there are indeed plenty of cells for many villains now. I promise to get some pics up, as soon as I can.
  2. I agree for sure, Arkham was a fantastic set. I actually wound up getting 2 and combined them together AND with the original Arkham set, making an "ultimate" Arkham prison, if you will. But, yeah, if they made a Manor set, like the Arkham, it would be a home run.
  3. I am very disappointed that the wayne manor wasn't selected, they can keep the Wall E and Dr Who sets. I knew they wouldn't make the Wayne Manor via Ideas, but I still hope they make some version of the manor. I would LOVE it to be that big, but even a smaller version would be awesome. Ultimately, a UCS set of the Manor/Batcave would be a wet dream come true.
  4. Is there still a chance that this could be made, fingers crossed, its awesome. I am so disappointed they didn't pick this. They can keep the Wall-E and Dr Who sets.
  5. I agree that the prelims do NOT look like a $120 set, so it really doesn't make any sense. I still think we must be "missing" something in the pics we've seen. At $120 It needs to at least have a large number of parts, so hopefully there is more to it than what we saw. Maybe the set has more depth to it or something, or maybe the prelim pic left out a ride, idk, we'll hopefully know soon enough.
  6. I may be in the minority, but I am happy the Jokerland set is $120 bucks. Hopefully this means its going to be huge, with a ton of "play" features, and all sorts of cool stuff. I am still holding faith that we really didn't get the full "story" of how big and nice the Jokerland set is, from just the preliminary pics alone. At that price it should, and hopefully will, have really awesome mini-figures with NEW printing, and a great set to boot. To me, if it was just $90 USD, then I would be expecting a, "OK" set, but at $120 I am expecting a great set. Again, I may be the minority, especially since money happens to be no issue for me personally due to my financial situation. Not that I am OK with throwing money away for something that is not worth it, I just think if TLG is charging $120 it hopefully will be an awesome set, and if it is awesome, I will be buying 2 full sets, and just sell the extra figures.
  7. No matter what design exactly the new Harley is, its just really a great sign that its a new design at all. I think its definitely safe to say that probably most, if not all the figures in the Jokerland set will be at least new designs, instead of the same Ivy, Penguin, and of course Harley. Just seeing those legs is encouraging for sure.
  8. Its funny you guys mentioned about a Friends "zombie apocalypse", cause my daughter and I actually did/played that one time. My daughter literally has every Friends set made, including the latest Winter wave, except the jungle themed ones, and so we literally have a giant Heartlake city set up. We had the town besieged by zombies from every corner of Hearlake city, lol. We used the CMF Yetis as zombies though, cause we had about 20 of them, and she's well 6 years old, so didn't want it to be too gory now. It was real fun having Stephanie, Andrea, Emma, and the rest of the gang, running for there lives in campers, dolphin cruisers, and a light blue moped. Nothing like building zombie/friends memories with your 6 year old little girl. Also does anyone have a link or further info about this Friends grocery store. I have yet to hear about it, and it sounds really nice. I still have always thought TLG should have made a Heartlake City Zoo. I think that would be nice too.
  9. Very nice, looks clean and sleek, and I like all the little functions. The only thing I would add, and of course that's just personal taste, would be maybe a batman logo somewhere on the front or top. One of the many batman symbol stickers or a printed tile with the symbol would make it perfect, but that's just me, I like my Batman vehicles to always have the symbol somewhere. Awesome work dude.
  10. Kissyfur your Joker Funhouse MOC is really awesome. I have been admiring it since you first posted it back in November. Its given me quite a few ideas for my own Funhouse MOC. One of the things that really makes your MOC "pop" though, is the fact that you enclosed it in an abandoned warehouse. It has all the different "rides" and attractions, very similar to what TLG is trying to do with the summers Jokerland set. I think the "bones", and nuts and bolts, are there in the Jokerland set, but it doesn't seem as good as yours because its not enclosed in the "warehouse". That being said, Lego would never make a set like that, so we would need to MOD it to make it like yours.
  11. I wonder if Lego still holds the license for POTC? I have no idea, maybe someone could answer that.
  12. God, I really hope this line isn't cancelled. The TMNT movie sets could disappear for all I care, but, as others have said, there is SO MUCH potential still for the Nick TMNT lego line. The speed demon car, the turtle mech, environments like Baxter and Kraang labs, even more Kraang ships. Forget about mini-figures that need to be made too. Casey Jones, Beebop, Rocksteady, Tiger Claw, Baxter Fly, and tons more. Until I hear "official" word what this line is cancelled, I am still going to hold out hope that it will continue. The Nick cartoon was just recently renewed for a 4th season, so that's good news. Playmates is still continuing to make new waves of figures on going. Also I know, by me at least, and that's in the NYC/NJ area, the Lego sets seem to have sold very well. They were sold out and re-stocked many times over, in a ton of different stores by me, so idk whats up. I just hope we will see more Nick sets. The potential for great cartoon based sets are awesome, it would be such a waste if this line was not produced to its full potential. Lego and TMNT were and are made for each other, lets keep our fingers crossed.
  13. Supposed to bend him at the right angle and use the right amount of force tension. Lol, hey there are children present, lol.
  14. I just finally saw the preliminary pics, they weren't loading at first, and I like them. Its true that the Jokerland set maybe isn't as good as we all made it out to be, in our own minds. That being said, I think once the final set is presented, we will be happy. You have to picture the set with its stickers applied on all the white signs, and it looks like there are a few more "bells and whistles" that we just cant make out right now. Like the front entrance appears to have something? right past the doors, and there is a 2nd story landing, I believe, by the clown head. I think with a little "tweaking" and modding, possibly even combining 2 sets, and of course the original TRU exclusive Funhouse, and we will have an awesome "amusement park of terror". The Batboat set looks a lot like the original Batboat set with the old Killer croc figure. The boat has that "hovercraft" vibe to it, but with 2 cockpits, instead of the 1 on the original, they are definitely very similar. I am happy with the sets, so far and being they are preliminarys, they will only get better.
  15. The new mystery mansion from the Scooby doo line, coming this summer, looks like it could work with DC. The left side of the mansion looks like a greenhouse for Poison Ivy, and there is abrick built monster plant too. Plus that new plant guy from series 14 will make good Poison Ivy goons.
  16. If you look at the pics of the Mystery Mansion that's coming out in the summer for the Scooby line, it looks like the left half of it is a greenhouse of sorts. This could be used as a hideout for Poison Ivy, or at least an idea on making one for her. Plus it has the brick built monster plant, and that pumpkin head, and with the new plant guy mini figure, Poison Ivy is getting a lot of cool pieces this year.
  17. These new mini figs look pretty good, but as others have said, as soon as I saw them I was thinking "awesome parts for our superhero figs". I am excited, I know it has been mentioned already, but the plant/flytrap guy will be PERFECT for poison Ivy goons, and we basically are almost literally getting a Cheetah mini figure, NICE. Personally, I have been using the mini figure sized Hulk shirtless, green torsos, and the Hulk heads with various plant pieces on top, as Ivys goons. They work well, and I have a variety between the different plant pieces and regular and short green legs, but having more variety with these new Fly trap plant guys is quite welcomed. I am digging these pics and we havnt even seen them all yet.
  18. Sorry, I just seen where that pic came from now.
  19. Honestly, that kinda looks like a modded batmobile of the one that came in the Two Face set with the bank. Wheres that pic from btw?
  20. Yeah, that new 52 version is pretty sweet. At least it would be a bit different from the other versions of Robin we already have. He has a different mask, and the gold trim on his torso. I am REALLY psyched about the Jokerland set. I have been wanting to build a huge Joker funhouse for a minute. I have a ton of xtra original funhouses and many xtra parts, but at this point I will just wait till the summer. I will most likely get 2 Jokerland sets and combine them with everything I have already, making a giant funhouse.
  21. I wonder if that new Joker bumper car polybag, which I still have yet to see at retail, is still meant to go with the Jokerland set. Maybe we could get 2 sets and combine them into 1 giant "Jokerland". Then leave the Penguin's "duck" ride as is, and MOD where the 2nd "duck" ride is with a bunch of bumper cars from the polybags in different colors.
