What Are The Biggest LEGO Leaks Ever???
Actor Builder replied to Joshua Story's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Well a lot of the ships in the Pirates theme have notes on the box that say "Boat does not float", so I'd imagine they're susceptible to big leaks.- 6 replies

This is great. I really like it.

"Most men have shoulders noticeably broader than their waists and hips. Let's start seeing some negative space on male minifigs to reflect that! If that strikes you as ridiculous, you might do well to ask yourself why." That's ridiculous. Because LEGO shoulders are inherently more narrow than LEGO waists.

What was the last movie you watched?
Actor Builder replied to EbonHawk's topic in Culture & Multimedia
The 1916 version of "20,000 Leagues Under The Sea". It was okay. I prefer the 1954 version, personally. It has a lot more sound. And color. It has more color. -

He's a tad squished, but that's the price you have to pay for being a supervillain. -
Queen Anne's Revenge Sterncastle Modifications
Actor Builder replied to Lord Valgor's topic in LEGO Pirates
The topic title said "Stern Castle Mods" and I was expecting it to be about ZCerberus or Ecclesiastes or another Castle Moderator. -
I feel like this thread could really potentially hurt the Ship's self esteem. It's not very uplifting to be ranked 15th out of 15.

Did you guys see the short that some of the Pixar animators made in their spare time? I think it's called "Borrowed Time". It's really good.- 279 replies

My informant has some information on the next series... it's not great news. She said this series made her die laughing. She said it felt half-baked. This is just one opinion though, I'm just parroting back what I've been told.

Perhaps they have an integrity for their characters they don't want to inadvertently ruin with a potentially poor film. Pintel and Ragetti are hilarious bit characters, and perhaps the actors want to leave their legacies alone with the first three films.

General Pirates of the Caribbean Theme Discussion Thread
Actor Builder replied to Oswald the Rabbit's topic in LEGO Pirates
I suppose if the first one sells magnificently enough, it could. I wouldn't plan on it though. It would have to sell a whole heck of a lot, because odds are the majority of buyers wouldn't purchase a second one so soon after the first. Whatever percentage their studies show is the number of people (most likely all AFOL Pirates Fans) who would purchase the second would have to be a large enough number for them to make money on the second round. I'm not an economist, but that's my untrained input on the matter. -
I like this set a lot. It's really good. One of my only concerns is how it deviates from the Modular Standard, which I'm fine with, except that this was the last modular needed to complete an entire block, if you follow the pattern set by corners and relocate Market Street to the opposite side of Cafe Corner, but now it won't fit. That bothers me. They were so close, and I was looking forward to seeing complete blocks once this came out, but now you'd have to remove half of the Pet Shop to fit this in somewhere. It's a great set though.

The best of the worst Lego Ideas
Actor Builder replied to anothergol's topic in General LEGO Discussion
@Nathan734, The Tower of Mordor, Barad-Dur, has not ever been a LEGO set. You're thinking of Orthanc. I don't think you know what humor is or what trolling is. I think you are only on this thread to actively belittle other's creations, and are attempting to make yourself feel better by convincing yourself they're joke projects that are meant to be laughed at. They are not. Somebody spent time and effort to make an IDEA. It may not be the best creation, in fact it may be quite sub-par, but it is the Idea. I'm personally done talking about this, but you're welcome to respond and have the "last word", I just won't reply. In fact, I'll try to never visit this thread again. It upsets me. -
The best of the worst Lego Ideas
Actor Builder replied to anothergol's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Are you serious? A sense of humor indicates trolling to you? A sense of humor is a wonderful thing, and a sense of humor that can transcend speech and be interpreted through non-vocalized literature is an incredibly wonderful thing. I don't understand your three points up there at all. -
Is My LEGO Indian A Special LEGO Indian?
Actor Builder replied to Actor Builder's topic in General LEGO Discussion
After CM4Sci's reply, I forgot to check this thread and for some reason it didn't notify me... SO what we've concluded is that he's kind of special. I have no idea what set he came in, my friend donated a lot of Minifigures which he had gotten from someone else, so there's no way to tell, really. Is it possible that LEGO intentionally reverse printed some of these, perhaps in an effort to add subtle diversity to the otherwise mostly identical figures? That seems unlikely, but it also seems unlikely that there would be so many of the same misprint. Thanks for all the help so far, everyone. -

Modular Building Sets - Rumours and Discussion
Actor Builder replied to The Jersey Brick Guy's topic in LEGO Town
But what about the Grand Emporium? Will 2017's Modular Building not be the 11th Modular Building and arguably the 12th, depending on if you count Market Street? Granted, I'm bad at math, and years are weird sometimes, but I'm pretty sure this is the 11th Modular on the 10th anniversary of the line. I am fully ready to be told I'm an idiot for miscalculations. I'm not a math person. Maybe a math person can either correct me or tell me I got it right. -

That's clearly his Bat-Microwave exploding with the lobster inside. It's making a huge Bat-Mess, and poor Alfred will have to clean it up.
