  1. Assuming average mix of LEGO, I'd say 15,000 pieces would be around 45 pounds. $150 is good.
  2. Without seeing a picture, hard to make a guess. But you didn't mention if the set still comes with 4 track pieces to make 2 sets of slopes or the stanchions to hold up elevated tracks. I'd wager about $150 at best with the information I got. You defiantly should get a good, clear pictures to show what's there.
  3. Ultimate torture: set 10179 Millennium Falcon from start to finish with no pre-sorting allowed. They didn't come numbered, all 5200 pieces were dumped in one box. I don't know of Taj Mahal are numbered or not but over 6,000 of small and nearly all same color it'd be a torture as well!
  4. snipped Prince of Persia and Indiana Jones haven't been around for a while, and Harry Potter line is about to retire as well. I do agree that Cuusoo is pointless if LEGO keeps rejecting all popular sets. Maybe if there's a new rule that prevents any set from getting sent if they are based on TV shows, movies, or other published fictions. That way LEGO won't have to deal with getting license or permission, and people are less likely to vote because technically it wouldn't be based on something that can pose copyright issue but rather vote on something that actually looks great.
  5. Do they still work with unglued LEGO? Perhaps sell it as filler bricks for someone who may be building a huge moc?
  6. Saved as text file and on brickshelf. Didn't realize it was that long...
  7. Based on this MOC: http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=151715 I was able to reverse engineer the rings but I wanted mine a little different. Instead of being inside SGC, I wanted it to be outside on stone base and with DHD. The inner ring (750+ pieces): http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/Lego-0taku/misc/stargate_inner_ring.lxf The outter ring (1500+ pieces): http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/Lego-0taku/misc/stargate_outter_ring.lxf The DHD: http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/Lego-0taku/misc/stargate_dhd.lxf I stored the rings separately because it's hard to combine them in free floating situations plus I haven't gotten the ring angle right so the inner ring isn't closed. The parts in the middle are because of collision issue and illegal design: technic pins (3/4, 2L, and longer pins) do NOT go in plate, that causes excess stress and usually ruins the pin after a while. Only the 1/2 pin's stud end can be used safely in plate. Anyway I'd like C&C on the DHD. It'll have printed label to form 2 rings of glyphs with gap between inner glyph ring and the red button. (no round trans-red or trans-orange in 2x2 size??) The DHD should be close to the same scale as the gate itself. I haven't figured out how to do the "wing" part around the side of the DHD.
  8. You can also build one using part list from LDD file made here: http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=41993 If you're going to use Bricklink to buy parts, you can use the ready made file I have: http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/Lego-0taku/misc/lego_store_part_list.txt Be sure to replace 999999999 with the want list ID you make in BL first. Also change condition X to N if you prefer only new parts. No sticker for the 2x2 tile but you can use existing tile that has LEGO printed on for effect.
  9. Try this one: http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=41993 it's up to date with LDD 4.2 and works fine. No picture but it has option to export in XML format to add to Bricklink want list so you can quickly check around for stores that has most of it, or to display the list and print it out.
  10. Confirmed missing as well. part 2493 is the frame that glass 2494 goes in. For some reason LDD has 2494 but not 2493??? I think someone at LEGO was sleeping when they added glass without frame. It's like offering tires without the wheel to hole it in place.
  11. Will ccleaner work to clean registery of outdated data? Not sure if it works on XP 64 bits.
  12. Any reason to bump a 5 year old thread for a 1 word comment?
  13. Any reason to bump a 5 year old thread for a 2 word comment?
  14. Why does that ring remind me of old Clikit series? Anyway could that ring be used for snot to snot connection?
  15. Long enough for the price on Boba Fett to reach $300 A new Cloud City would be nice. Maybe one section the recycling facility where C-3PO ended up after he was blasted? Or a large scale freezing chamber big enough to actually play in and not the itty bitty scale in the previous set that isn't big enough for Han, Leia, Chewie, 3PO, R2, Darth Vader, Boba, Lando, and a few stormtroopers to all share the same single floor.
  16. That could work Thanks for the tip.
  17. And the best part? You can afford to slip in a M-80 and film it blowing up just like the movie. Very fast video camera would be needed because otherwise you'd get the whole explosion in just 1 frame.
  18. How about this: I wanted to build a walking suspension bridge using these: http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=x64 and I couldn't quite make for fancy decoration between upper (hand rope) and lower (foot planks)without the nonexistent clip with stud pictured above.
  19. You can try to lie your way through a few freebies but they do keep track and will start requiring proof of purchase and possibly require you to send defective part back first.
  20. I hope you didn't throw out the original arm? Great shot!
  21. Image link Gon (blue shirt) has black hair that spikes straight up. Killua's hair spikes in all direction and is nearly pure white. Looked through Bricklink, I didn't find anything good in the right color. So any suggestion? Thanks!
  22. Mega Bl..? VILE!!! EVIL!!!! Must burn evil clone!!!!
  23. Third that flick missiles. I stopped putting them together last year and completely skip missile launchers in instruction. I figure I got about 50 never used missiles sitting around in the pile of rejects.
  24. About the same as a pile of dust bunny. LEGO isn't making TC-13. It's TC-14 you're thinking of. :D Shadow ARF is still holding at about $20 each sealed but they probably won't attain highly collectable status since shadow ARF didn't get much screen time if at all. TC-14 did get a few minutes worth (which is a lot more than shadow ARF) and in a major movie, not the spin off shows or books so it'd likely get more popular and more demand. Worst case: Still about $20 a pop. TC-14 isn't going to be scare and hard to find like that $300 Boba Fett.
  25. Great work. The second picture looked odd, like that Y-wing was flying sideway at high rate of speed. :D
