    no,no,yes To get a bit more into detail: Your character does not have to wear green at all. Like in the real world not every American in the real world wears stars and stripes as his clothes. In fact I don't think that many Eslandolans war green, except military and officials of course. It's perfectly fine if your character wears other colours! Also Eslandola as a nation probably has some less national pride compared to Oleon (especially) and also Corringto. Being a free merchant who cares for nothing but his profit is perfectly fine. And if profit means that you wear red when you enter a Corrington port, then you cannot be more Eslandolan! So yes, no green required! Also regarding your name: Not every character who is an Eslandolan originates from Eslandola, or maybe his parents or grandparents come from somewhere else, and kept their traditions. Also we have the first people who were born in the colonies being grown up now, maybe in the colonies names are different from traditional Eslandola? Or maybe your father was a sailor and had a low bond to Eslandola and did not give a ***. What is important, though, is that the name matches the world ("Grishzak-Gro Hulbarg the Worldburner" might fit in GoH, but not here). So no, no Spanish name required. Regarding ships: You can definitely buy ships, capture ships, or buy shares in ships. The condition, though, is that someone else has MOCed it, which might prove difficult in reality. I am not much of a shipwright myself, but figured that especially small ships (class 0) are rather easy to build (like this or like this). Even for my class 2 I hardly used any prefab ship-parts (see here). Also you can definitely play entirely without ships, no problem at all. However I suggest to give it a try, I didn't regret trying myself and plan on trying again soon. Also there is always LDD (Kolonialbeamter is the grandmaster of digital ships, like here or here). But if you don't want to MOC ships, that's really 100% fine! Furthermore: If you decide to join Eslandola, once you have posted your third Eslandola-MOC I will donate you 25 DBs from my private cash as a welcome bonus.

Down the hills, across the many cotton fields, along the road, passing some other farmland, or small forests, or the palmtrees on the coastline, his eyes took sight of the colourful city - Nova Terreli, standing proudly at the Nellisan coast. The second largest city in the new world, some said. It was about time for it to become larger than Breshaun. He looked further, to the harbour and beyond, and there he saw all the ships from all the nations entering and leaving the port, carrying goods and riches, bringing wealth to both the old and new world. Oh Glorious New World, he thought. One day this will all be one, and every single person will live in prosperity. But who was capable of the task ahead? He stood there for hours like this, thinking actively. He weighed strategies and options, considered one future or the other, outcomes, scenarios, inventions, everything. But the more he thought about it the more he realised that he had long made his mind. Following his intuition he turned, climbing down the tower, mounting his horse. Guilder and Wyndzon were right. He had to. He would be back to Nova Terreli within an hour.

    Thanks @Kai NRG and @Capt Wolf, nothing to add here. I would be glad to discuss this ooc with kabel, if it's a problem for him, as well as IC with whoever has an IC-problem with this. Let's get back to the current storyline of Román Fontonajo, please (next one to follow).

    @Maxim I: Please read carefully and discuss the military coup where it belongs. I wonder though, why in four and a half months noone has yet argued against me taking the Castillo? Also please keep in mind that the official version is, has always been and will always be that due to the absence of the Viceroy (which has been MOCed even by kabel, and he has not returned yet) crime rates have increased in Nova Terreli, and thus Fontonajo decided to reinforce the Eslandolan troops at the Castillo with his personal guard. Fontonajo was welcomed by the troops, and order was restored in the city. Noone has ever been thrown out of anything. Also ooc: Once kabel lets the Viceroy return and asks me to leave, I will do so immediately...

    Oh wow, why haven't I commented on this fantastic creation yet? Marvellous work, I love it! So many brilliant details, and the house itself has a nice style to it, colourful enough for Nova Terreli for sure, yet with its own touch. Fantastic. Also the city of Nova Terreli has sponsored it with 15 DBs (as promised in the NT-thread).

On top of the Terreli Hills stood a small tower, that Fontonajo's men had built years ago. Not only was it a great watchtower to protect the roads and farms from outlaws. It was also the best spot to think about his strategic plans on the island. Román came here whenever he needed time to think. Now that he stood on top of his tower, the suggestion from Willem Guilder and Guy K. Wyndzon circled through Fontonajo's mind. In his early years in the colonies he had not been an active member of Eslandolan politics. But that had changed, especially over the past year. He had become mayor of Nova Terreli and had taken the Viceroy's fortress in a military coup. He was the first to openly oppose King Fernando, even before the latter had attacked Oleon. And he had declared independence for Nellisa, and had become the de-facto-governor of the island. Nellisa had not yet officially accepted the constitution, nor had he. But that was about to change. All was about to change.

    Who is supposed to MOC on those islands, when some of the old islands only have one or two MOCs on them? Couldn't we just wait for some weeks or even months? Also how is this supposed to work? Can I just start MOCing and founding settlements on the big islands right now? Are there already Mardierian settlements there?

    So as a foreigner I may not buy a preferred stock but may buy a common stock? May foreigners buy more than one common stock? Fontonajo for one has always been on very friendly terms with Oleon: See here or see here for examples. So he will definitely be interested in investing.

    Well, wow - fantastic story! I don't feel that the MOC is particularly bad at all, actually I like it. Not every single MOC has to be a masterpiece, but it's definitely fine and a great contribution to BOBS - what more could you want? Nice floor, nice desk, nice posing, good job I say.

    I would really like to have an option to permanently see all in- and outgoing transactions to and from my account. It's become so much that it's hard to keep track. I know you can manually set those up, but is there a way to automate it?

    Great work @Kai NRG - I hope you don't plan to leave the Eslandolan leadership entirely, that would leave a massive gap in our nation. Thanks for all your numerous efforts - fantastic work as usual. We might consider changing our status with the pirates?

    Amazing creation. I especially love how you've included my good Román Esteban Fontonajo! I really don't know what to like most about this - the entrance, the huge windows, the podium, the desks, the chimneys with the banners and the anchor up front, the doorframes. Absolutely brilliant MOC overall, fantastic work! Not sure about "educational" though, might politics get their own category for licensing?
