  1. Looks great
  2. Honk your horns, Trainees! Hahaha. You're right. I see the face on it.
  3. Great start! I can see a real promising loco here.
  4. Looks great! The 9v motor fit in there nicely.
  5. That's exactly the model I've been using! Great eye. Thanks. I have a 2-8-4 based off a NKP Lovomotive, so I thought it would be cool to moc my new project off a NKP 0-6-0. A couple more small touches here and there, and then the medium drivers, then I should be done......for now. Lol.
  6. Just a quick update. Got to tinkering with the idea of some of the piping. Let me know what yall think.
  7. Hey everybody. This is the newest addition to my lineup. Its my 0-6-0 steam engine. Its probably just going to be used as a steam switcher. It is still a work in progress. I plan to switch the BBB large drivers(4 flanged, 2 blind) with medium drivers of the same format. If anybody has 4 flanged BBB drivers and 2 blind medium drivers, I'd be happy to trade. Anyway. There is still work to be done in this engine, but I'm pleased with the way it has turned out so far. I'd appreciate any input I can get. https://flic.kr/p/tavhof https://flic.kr/p/tavik5 https://flic.kr/p/sdWqeX https://flic.kr/p/taNiUB https://flic.kr/p/sdKcKw
  8. It looks great! I logged on and supported it.
  9. My Berkshire is 7 wide, using my boiler as 5 wide and 1x running boards on each side. My cab is 7 wide, so the running boards match right up to it.
  10. Here are some pics of how I did it. I used one of the turntables and placed it just ahead of the first driver. Thanks Murdoch! That means alot. It took me a couple months to get the right boiler shape that I liked. No matter how much I say it's finished, it will always be a work in progress. lol.
  11. Thanks everybody! I appreciate all the compliments. Just waiting on the funds and I'll get my 0-6-0 under way.
  12. I might change it up every so often. For the time being, it will be pulling freight. The 0-6-0 is just a boiler and cab right now. I need to order more parts for it, like new boiler pieces and wheels for it. I'll post a picture when I get something out together that actually looks like a locomotive. Lol
  13. Just got my driving rods done. Let me know what yall think. I think I'm just about done with this locomotive now. Already started on a 0-6-0 switcher.
  14. I started looking through his Flickr yesterday, and he has so many amazing trains, I don't even have time to look through them all in one sitting. His Polar Express is my favorite of his work. How does your 2-10-4 handle curves?
  15. Great looking locomotive! I've been contemplating wether I want my 2-8-4 to pull passenger or freight. I'm pulling freight right now. Again, great job!
  16. So here is where I am at so far. I have completely redone the boiler and running boards and widened the cab, running boards, and tender to 7 wide. Still waiting on the connecting rods to be completed along with the Pistons. http://flic.kr/p/qZ81eM
  17. Thanks! A little more work and it's there.
  18. Thanks! I really wanted a decent amount of power, and most of my track is 9v. Thanks! I only have a couple cars right now. I have a box car, ttx intermodal car, and a log car, along with a caboose. I'm working on making some more cars for it though. I should be able to pull a decent train with 2 9v motors pulling the load.
  19. Here is where I am as of today. I installed all of the slope pieces, along with a couple other small pieces. Forgive the multi-colored connecting rod mock up, as I am trying to get the connecting rods and lead truck squared away.
  20. That engine looks great! I love how you were able to keep the UP theme with it too.
  21. I plan to purchase the rods that fit 4 of the BBB large train wheels. I also bought a lot of these sloped pieces so I can give the boiler a more round look as well.
  22. It does. It don't happen unless momma says it does. I don't like making a pregnant woman mad. Hahaha
  23. I plan on it. I just have to get the wife to approve the funds, and then find a good place to buy some from without having to make some up from technic parts.
