  1. Belatedmedia has (finally) finished 'What if Episode II was good?'. Really is worth a watch: And, if you've yet to see 'What if Episode I was good?, here it is:
  2. Wow, fantastic! Looks like a really good project, I can't wait to see the finished result!
  3. The free city came upon the horizon, as the morning sun began to illuminate the Crystalline Sea. In their cabin on their return ship, Thothwick and Hoptet were preparing to move their luggage to the deck, ready for departure. "This ones heavy. Take two to carry." "Okay, lift with your feet." "How you lift wi-" "Humanish expression, sorry! We'll lift - with your hands - three... two... one... lift!" The two heaved, and lifted up their suitcase, when... "You got Z-Mail!" Taking the two completely by surprise, they dropped their luggage. Onto their feet. "Son of a-" "[-female dog!]" After rubbing their feet, Thothwick explained the sudden apparition. "They did one last year. They started it at the precise apex of the battle of Dastan. I recall I had just finished dispatching several of Wren's automatons of the shadows, when it appeared." "Shall we join?" "What have we got to lose?" Their feet bruising nicely, Hoptet and Thothwick signed up for the lottery. OoC: Don't worry, Hoptet's was purely cosmetic, only Thothwick's counts.
  4. Me neither. I'll occasionally look into threads to marvel at the photography (Brickdoctor's are always worth a good look), but I never follow a Quest I'm not on.
  5. If I ever win the lottery, the first thing I shall do is produce a Saturday morning cartoon, with that as the theme tune!
  6. I can't imagine Thothwick changing classes. Assassin wouldn't suit him, nor would Raider. I was toying with Sorcerer, but he'd shown no such abilities, and is probably too old to learn any. Witch would obviously out of the question. When - or if - he goes Dragoon, he won't change, ever. Doesn't seem 'right' for anyone to abandon their Dragon, particularly not someone like Thothwick who idolises them.
  7. Would you mind if I PM you about what I've got for Orang Pendek? Hopefully I can add to what you've got, providing it fits with what you've got. Don't worry, it's enough for me, you, swils, Flipz and three others!
  8. Sorry, Pyrovisionary, I don't mean to be rude by ignoring you, it's just I'm going on holiday in a few days, and don't want to leave a fortnight long gap in between an arena fight!
  9. "The Wolfgang? Hmm... pray tell, what do you think of their newest leader?"
  10. Hoptet leant forward, and subtly pointed at Benji. "We should tell of the Metasimi story, '[Don't feed the Bog-monster]'!" The couple laughed.
  11. Huzzah! Twenty lambs shall be slaughter in sacrifice to this news! Congratulations, Sandy!
  12. I did! Well, Nyx got hers, but you left before I returned to the Hall!
  13. Huzzah! Problem solved!
  14. No. Necromancers haven't done anything to him, nor people he's known, nor try to take over the world. The only one he's ever encountered (the one in Quest 14), was relatively helpful.
  15. Then Thothwick commits seppuku.
  16. I'm worried about this myself. Should Thothwick see him as being reformed, or should he think that a leopard could never change his spots. Role playing confusion, both seem quite plausible from him.
  17. And now that the Wolfgang is being spearheaded by a witch, maybe S.O.W too?
  18. I think the levels are shorter, but that is balanced with the open world of most recent games (Harry Potter 1 & 2, Batman 2, Lord of the Rings) helping to pad the game out a little. I'm fairly sure the difficulty is the same, and that a kid could play LotR and the first Lego Star Wars with the same ease.
  19. And whose Heroic Title is 'Dragonslayer'!
  20. And intentionally miss gaining experience? Brickdoctor, I'd expect better of you!
  21. You're not the only one! Thothwick wants to be a Dragoon too, y'know! What am I supposed to do with all this useless Ziegfried rep?
  22. Thothwick and Hoptet walked the the Halls entrance, and waved goodbye the Heroes of Quest 72. On the way back, the couple viewed the Quest board. "Ah, the Shadeaux!" "Human?" "Charisian." "Drat. I normally guess it good." "Uh... no, I mean they're humans from Charis." "Why we not Mistland-uns?" "Quite frankly, I'm not sure. Perhaps they value their individual culture and history, more than their collective history? Although I can't blame the Charisians, such a beautiful place. I once had a friend from Charis..." Thothwick, reminiscing, signs up for Quest 73: Escort Service.
  23. Neither. They both lack any major technological advance worth investing £500. The only thing that this generation has over the last is new console exclusives (none of which entice me), and a feeling of being spied upon. Huzzah.
