[SR - FB3 - Jul 620] New FTA Galleon
Umbra-Manis replied to Professor Thaum's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
Nice design, especially with the brick built sails! And judging from the hold it would seem the Sea Rats are dealing in handbags for all the fashionable ladies, -

[ESL] The Execution of Zublius von Wreck
Umbra-Manis replied to Umbra-Manis's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
Considering I've been watching the PotC movies for the first time, he probably did! Thanks! I hadn't even considered the twisted usage when I was building this I should hope pirates have a different afterlife, otherwise I feel he might have some well deceased greencoats after him! Thank you! Unfortunately I'm not back for long (Thank you pushed up start of the semester :))) And indeed it was! Thank you Thanks Bregir! Twas born out of the intense building rush for Vignweek Hmmm, we might need a bigger gallows Thanks Kai! Maybe someone took a nice little kick at the head -
FABUPUNK Mafia! Conclusion—Heresy!
Umbra-Manis replied to Hinckley's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Thanks for running a good one Hinckley, and sorry I threw an early wrench in by forgetting to check my account! Town definitely had some serious luck this time, as well as the balls of steel on Fergus! Not gonna lie, I was kinda hoping we'd see a whole bunch of guns go off with the Paranoid Gun Owners, just because that would have led to a crazy day. Trickster was a great addition, and I loved not having to worry about hiding roles since no one could hold onto a role for more than one night. I'm curious to know what the win condition was for the trickster though -
Zublius von Wreck had been enjoying himself. He'd been a successful independent captain for the last few months, greatly expanding his own fleet with prizes and terrorizing the high seas, regardless of the color of flag. If he had a little more sense, he might have retired comfortably, passed that Von Wreck title off to someone else, and the navies would have been none the wiser. Unfortunately, he's no Dread Pirate, and now the Eslandolans have their hands on him, and one could say his time is short, even shorter than the stub of a right leg he was left with after a cannon blew it to smithereens. Now he's the last man on the docket for this hanging, and the brick seas will be all the safer for the merchant minded. Farewell. Feels good to build in the brick seas again! C&C Welcome!

FABUPUNK Mafia! – sign-ups
Umbra-Manis replied to Hinckley's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Am I going to try and play this while I have to juggle work and school? Yes, it would seem so. I'm in! -
Love the roof! And nice touch making it open up

Thank you! I wasn't able to figure out if GTA normally has such a bar or not, because it only appeared in some of the screenshots I found and most of them seemed to be old. No real reason for the energy binder other than the podracer aesthetic, but it would keep the engines from rotating around their back connection Thank you! Thanks!

I don't usually build much in the way of Star Wars MOCs, but the last prompt for vignette week was to combine Star Wars with another theme, so on a whim I decided to go with "What if GTA had podracers?" This was all despite the fact that I've never played a single GTA game. Anyway, without further adieu, the MOC. "Mission: Steal the podracer before the drunk Jawa or the police down the road notice" If anyone wants to look at the model in a 3D viewer, it can be found on mecabricks here: https://mecabricks.com/en/models/Dp2lMywGjMV C&C Welcome!

"Well in that case, I hope only one of them shows up!" Hadelson replied, clearly in better spirits since he was off his feet. -

Umbra-Manis replied to Louis of Nutwood's topic in Guilds of Historica
Incredibly detailed story, I really enjoyed reading through it and when I got to the beast I very much had a feeling of "Holy crap I'm glad I'm not a minfigure!"- 19 replies

Beautiful Ship Captain! Happy to see her flying under the green in the future -
I like the integration of cockpits into the sides, and the striping at the entrance! The overall surfaces could use some more greebling, but you've got a nice look going

Umbra-Manis replied to Capt Wolf's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
Councilor Hadelson slowly made his way to desk, muttering something about his gout acting up. "I can't tell ye when the other two delegates will be here" he said, suddenly addressing the room, "But they don't have gout and I beat em here!" With that he went back fiddling with his cane. -
Perfect color addition with the lavender on the sides!

Love it! Engine section is probably my favorite

Brickset Offline Catalog app for Android

Does the app end up being exceptionally large due to all the images being stored offline?
