It looks amazing. I might even buy multiple of this depending on price and final design.

General Pirates of the Caribbean Theme Discussion Thread
Boromir replied to Oswald the Rabbit's topic in LEGO Pirates
I will pass judgement on this set once we see some high res images, piece count, and a price, but it sure is exciting that it is so close! -
Got finally the UCS TIE Fighter - 75095. It was 20% off during brick friday, and it comes with s nice snowglobe and an Elves polybag for free. Looking forward to build it and put on display!

Well this is very charming. It would fit in well with the rest of Winter Village. Chocolate mmm..

It is definitely worth buying. And the Sandcrawler is also labelled 'Retiring Soon'. -

I was hoping for some news when I saw this thread had a new post -
I really dont think it will be that expensive. I dont know the piece count, but it looks slightly smaller than most modular buildings, and it doesnt have many minifigures. I would guess it will be closer to 150 USD/Euros.

First 2016 LEGO Ideas Review - Guessing Game
Boromir replied to Robert8's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Hey, I was actually right this time! It still came as a surprise, I thought that there might be no project selected from this review, but I am psyched we're getting the Fishing Store! -
This is really an awesome surprise! Now we just have to wait and see what the lego designers come up with. Hopefully it will be close to the original project, because it is just beautiful.

Review REVIEW: 21030 United States Capitol
Boromir replied to Bob De Quatre's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Nice review. I'm gonna pass on this set. It's simply far too expensive for what it is. -
The LEGO Batman Movie Set/CMF Rumors & Discussion
Boromir replied to Sir Gareth's topic in LEGO Licensed
I suppose that's true, although it's the first time they have 20 different figures in a series as well, so it's all speculation at this point. Guess we'll know soon. -

Why wouldn't they make each box with 3 full series? It fits perfectly. -

Well, I guess it's too early to start making assumptions, but I hope this rumor is true and we get a spectacular pirate ship. That could be a collector's item for sure. -
Forgive me for nit picking, but it's actually "Cinderella Castle" not "Cinderella's Castle". Just thought that might help justify why there is no Cinderella in the set.

The LEGO Batman Movie Set/CMF Rumors & Discussion
Boromir replied to Sir Gareth's topic in LEGO Licensed
Intriguing! I hope it's an impressive build this time and not another disappointment like this years batcave. -
The pop-up book is a great project. It's rare to see something so original. It won't make this review deadline sadly, but next I think.
-
It looks stellar! Especially the nose section.

I don't really like this kind of comment. Actually it feels like you are insulting me. I'm perfectly aware that TLG makes toys. Do you really not think I know that? It just happens that I like some of the toys that they make while some I like less. This one I like less. It's not horrible, but it doesn't appeal so much to me that I want to buy it.
-
Why not? It's not as if they haven't done pretty much exactly the same kind of thing before. Just look at last years WInter Village set. Small updates here and there and a significant price hike from the first Toy Shop.
-
That's so cool! One of my favourite scenes of episode IV, and very well recreated.

I seem to be in the minority here, but I really don't like this WV set, and will not buy it. The train looks too much like a toy for small children for me, and the price is way too high for what it is. The platform is tiny as well. If it was 20% lower in price I would perhaps have bought it and tried to modified it to something I like. Hopefully the Death Star will be awesome to make up for it.
