@The Outsider: The HF store exclusive was Bulk vs Vapor in 2010. :P It was a TRU exclusive containg a blue Rotor helmet and blue Corroder claws, those two being really all that was special about the set. And on the subject again, I had this idea for a store exclusive. A medium sized villain body combined with a small sized one creating something like Splitter Beast but more properly built and to fit the 20-25 euro(sorry I'm bad at determining euros) range, the same as Bulk vs Vapor is what I'm talking about. And if it contained both masks of Fire and Water blended then maybe the small villain could be fire themed and the large be water themed. Anyways that's just my idea. :S Mine alone, just ignore I ever wrote this...

That's pretty awesome, I love when constraction and technic pieces are used for things non-figure/vehicle such as scenery, just gives a cool vibe to complement collections. I've only tried MoCing miscellaneous' s like weapon racks for HF though, nothing Bionicle sadly. I also like the use of the Bohrok eyes to represent the masks, very nice. Makes me miss those 2001 cannisters though. ;-; I had two Tahu Mata's and didn't even keep one cannister. I was a dumb kid... Also are Gali's and Kopaka's Bohrok eyes the same trans color?

Mr. Party Pooper over here. :( I'm just kidding, I actually just refer to the PoF as PoF, and I haven't even thought about baby protector that much. People really calling him Takua? ._. He doesn't even have a blue protector's mask. But you got me at Hau, I refuse to refer to it as something as generic as Mask of Fire when it was(and is) to me the Kanohi Mask of Shielding!(shielding right?)

All of this talk about Gali's mask, what if there's actually a store exclusive? Everybody is turning the idea down because HF only had one but it seems odd that two gold-trans masks are missing. Maybe we get a two pack villain set. Or two special edition villians like 2005's two Toa, Norik and Iruni. And yes I know people are going to turn this idea down, just thought I'd throw it out there is all.

I was mainly joking about the Vahi. XD But one can dream! And a little off-topic but does anybody have an estimate how long HF summer 2014 sets will be around, I just stopped caring completely last year and still need to get them!

Even though to me the Tahu that was released is amazing(in my opinion), this MoC is still awesome. I love the swords you modified, they look heavy and give him a pretty badass demeanour, awesome MoC. :P

Out of the two(which I own) I would say Lewa. Something about Pohatu gets on me, I think it's the legs that turn me away. They are really proportioned wierd with the upper half being longer then the bottom. Plus his mask is my least favorite of the year, it's a mix between his 2001(good) and 2008(different-but-not-terrible) which gives birth to an odd mask. Still not a horrible set, just I prefer Lewa. :P @Dorek: Activity Book with MASK??? Vahiiiiiiiii!!!

Gen 1 RPG: Missed opportunities. It could of had factions that the characters join(Order of Mata Nui, Brotherhood of Makuta, Dark Hunters.) Each with respective leaders that the players could have collected missions from. Different Islands to explore. Imagine Helryx giving out a kill order or something against Karazahni and sends the player to do it. XD *Sighs* It will never be...

^I like FPSs :( lol and even though they have made a Bonkle FPS I agree that can't be the perspective of a new game.

But how would they know unless they try? It's a hit or miss, kind of relatable to Gen 1 Bionicle.

Why doesn't TLG try something like a top notch game though? If they create something cool and unique they can obtain new fans in a different territory like the gaming industry. If they do right by it nobody will say, "Oh, it's just a Lego game." and brush it off. If it won awards or got a lot of hype they would make more money then what would be expected from another licensed game of theirs. And look at large videogame franchises like World of Warcraft, Halo, Call of Duty, etc., they all have merchandise and people who buy them. I mean, even Titanfall got merchandise BEFORE it was even released, gamers might just pick up sets to display. So with a great game, Bionicle equals: Kids who collects the figures. Gamers who buy the games. Gamers who buy the merchandise. =A ton of money rolling in. It doesn't even take much to make a best selling game(looking at you lack-of-content Destiny). Edit: Also I think the Breakout torso looks more like the Bionicle aesthetic then the Brain Attack one being used.

^I haven't been affiliated with any recent TLG games for upwards of nine years but open world would like be a must for a game, I would also like a level of seriousness without any childish humor, that would just ruin the tone for me.

^Yeah I suppose, almost forgot that those stud shooters are pretty heavy. :P All of this talk and speculation about a movie, how come nobody has speculated about a game? Like an actual console/pc game not a phone or web game.

Very nice! Especially the mask. And I was thinking about MOCing a CCBS Karzahni also! Trying to be more faithful to the way he was depicted in the Bionicle World book though. :P Sadly we don't have any Dark Blue CCBS aside from the skull spiders.

Anybody notice on Ekimu's(Mask Maker) gearbox the swinging arm has 3 eight-tooth gears for friction? I find it odd since the weapon doesn't look heavy.

Like I said with the Slizers I got five years ago, joints are still good even after that ten to eleven years mint condition sleep they got. :P And Jaller Mahri is one of my most favorite Bonkle sets, the mask is beautiful in my opinion. Still have him assembled.. minus the crab... -

Open it! Open it! Agreed with the person above above me, sockets are fine as long as they aren't (cursed!)Lime Green like Mahri Halhi, RIP Hahli. I don't think pre-2008 sockets changed at all from the Slizer molds and five years ago I bought mint sealed Torch, Spark, and Blaster Slizers with Torch being eleven years old at the time, built them without the sockets being a problem. :P -
Totally. Elementary school, 2003, kid brought in some marbles to show the class, kept them in a Bohrok Kal canister. I think I'm going to go weep in a corner for my childhood, be right back. ç.ç

I find the shorts unappealing to the point that I don't even watch them. They don't even have the feel that the flash animations of MNOG(that right?) had which I think it could compare to. If Bionicle got another movie I'm hoping for a level of seriousness. Even HF was about, repeat "about", to get live action treatment, and their sales lacked.

Does anybody else think the gold masks blended with trans are maybe some sort of mock-ups that the skull villains are trying to get and they can wear them to get more power instead of the Toa? :P Would explain why Grinder wants the MoCR, but who wouldn't want it?

Eh, I don't know about this conversation. Parents of toddlers now are probably in their late twenties. :P They could of been fans for all I know, the times have changed. And the Inika commercial music annoyed me. -.- At the time they played that song on every music video channel there was. It got old after a couple of months. Cool commercial none the less.

Yay, bzp has decent pics. Slicer has grown on me and I really appreciate Warrior as a infantry unit. And Grinder vs MM is cheaper then predicted. :P
