Just throwing this out there. Weren't gen 1 Bionicles three quarters(75%) robotic and one quarter organic or something like that? Essentially cyborgs right? This is most likely a reboot so what if this is the very far post-apocalyptic future where basically they're robots but with human organs, I would totally be down with that as long as it stays mythical and tribal.

I thought the Protectors masks in the comics looked like Enclave power armor. XD

Other then the way the characters look in those comic pages, which are pretty horrible with Lewa frank the rabbit over there, I quite like the amount of detail put into these. The scenery looks great, the skull spiders look menacing and robotic. I was a bit disappointed with the animations styles this year for the movies and set comics, though not disliking them, so hopefully if we get a dedicated comic series again it will be with detail but greater accuracy to the sets. :P

My, what have I done, mentioning the 2.0 foot. XD Anyways, I hope the bones are white, I believe Breeze breakout was the only to have white bones, but Thornraxx was paired against her and his azure bones saw some good use last year. :P One can hope. Also liking the sound of Skull Basher, the world of Constraction needs more purple. But no yellow aside from keetorange this year? Ahh man, I don't even no why I'm drawn to yellow so much in constraction. XD

Yes! I was thinking about a Mata foot remake, the originals look quite well on CCBS figures, I use two grey on my HF self moc. XD I hope we see at least two more shell add-on pieces with piston detail also. :P if the three would circulate among sets there would be enough customization and detail to keep me happy.

And I agree Queen Beast definately could have been better. :P On the subject of Piraka toed feet(don't forget about Zaktan's, Thok's, and Avak's different ones that didn't get any HF 2011+ use) we did get the piece in brown with Ogrum in 2013. And I wouldn't so much mind seeing it in Gen 2 Bonkle, but I'd really like a new Toa footpiece. The 2.0 foot has lived past its days in my opinion. :P

Scarox! Darn, I forgot about him. Probably because he's hiding behind Dragon Bolt on my shelf. XD But Queen Beast equals the 35$ price here in America, was she higher priced in European markets?(forgive me I'm a dumb American here, just trying to figure out what your all's speculation on Skull Grinder's price may be :P)

XT4 was the last four-armed foe. XD Both waspix and xt4 I have taken apart recently. Need room for my Bonkles v~v Anyways the list sounds rather appealing, and yessss more purple. And a mixed color trans torso piece would sound awesome.

Picked up Lewa, LoSS, PoF, and Pohatu(they didn't have Gali ç.ç) Lewa is awesome, don't mind the head articulation. LoSS is awesome, love the function. PoF is adorable. Pohatu is awesome, the legs are bleh though. I don't belong on Eurobricks. XD

Lime Green is not a creative color, Lego... And I liked the one where Tahu arrived, can't remember, only watched them all once. XD

That's a thing that gets me, I liked the 2006-10 years probably more then the previous because it was "darker" to say. And I understand that gen 2 is suppose to be more light hearted I suppose is the term. But I'll always miss the more complicated lore that gen 1 ended with. But I see no problem with the names of the summer sets, or more violence. But anything could be violent if people put their imagination to it. XD

Problem being??? XD "Worse" being another word for "better" in my opinion. What's wrong with "actual" violence in Bionicle?

Time to put this to rest(in a failed attempt I'm sure XD). Ekimu is most definitely going to use trans-light blue, or whatever it's called. I think it will look great with gold though as long as it's not overdone or too heavy.

Oh Lord! That LoSS' face, it is that of which only a Makuta could love. Poor guy. XD Anyways nice revamps, the Protectors look like great sets this year. I prefer them over the Av-Maroran and Agori though for the complexity, which I think justifies the price difference between them. XD Almost more so reminiscent of the 2003-6 small sized sets. Again great revamps!

I don't know what evertbody else's opinion about that are but I think the new mask they teased, MoUP or not, would fit that role quite well. XD

So my dreams may be coming true. Excellent. Please do tell us more about these summer sets? Thanks! Also, analyzing my skull spider I noticed the top of the masks have another clip connection point, which is only used in two sets so far. But I can't help but think they would design it for those two sets alone so I'm wondering if these sets will use the skull spiders masks but possibly have a, or unique, secondary masks connection to that point? Almost like the brain attack visors. I'm all for that, actually.

Already got that information but thanks any how! XD But are you sure it's not Mask Maker vs Skull Grinder? Previous "leaks" or just plain speculation for that matter have stated "Grinder" not "Destroyer".

I have noticed that, I just figured others did also because I'm pretty sure this was discussed. But you don't give a character an awesome hammer and no gear function in gen 2 Bionicle. XD I also noticed Makuta's hammer has the gatling gun the protectors have but on the tip of it. Possibly Ekimu's as well. On the topic though I picture Skull Grinder as a top heavy character but hopefully larger then Onua. This set better grind my wallet. Edit: Yup, Ekimu has two of the protector launchers on his hammer. One on both sides, such awesome. XD

I actually like PoF's arms. Well, almost at least. They should have used an open ball beam so the hand movement had less restriction. After seeing the Tahu story animation(not the 30 second but the 90 second story piece) I can't not love the guy. XD As for Lewa's shoulders, meh, I'll pick him up soon and see but overall like the almost squat look he has.

Now that I have Tahu all built and tested I suppose I'll share my thoughts. Overall it's beyond decent, but feel I can't complain about the sets in out of paranoia that TLG will cancel the theme again. XD The only complaint is the awkward, yet cool, shoulder armor, they tend to hit the gold swords when in a diagonal position, but of course I can live with that. As for the mask popping function, I love it. Definitely have been enjoying my time with that. ^_^ And tan shells in North America? Yes please!

All this talk about the game makes me want to find the fps bionicle heroes. v-v Anyways I have recently gotten this months magazine, the poster in the center of the pamphlet reminds me of bionicle. c_c

I guess I was a little surprised that Target was basically the first(???) to release the sets pre-street date but thinking back I'm not all too shocked. In 2008 my Target was the first to get the Phatoka in, even though it was after the Jan. 1st release date. The stores around here are funny, and infuriating, like that. XD I think the more surprising times in my life was when my Kmart got the Mahri in during July of 07, and when I picked up Mata Nui in May of 09 at TRU. Ahhh the nostalgia.

Good point! I didn't even see those. :P I think I'll stand by my theory now. Now on how/if they do release it in the summer wave, I think it is a tad bit too early for me. I was expecting maybe a two year build up. -_-

If anybody thinks about it, the new mask could be the MoUP, but not on a Makuta set but fallen into the hands of a skull creature most likely Skull Grinder. Similar to how LoSS has that gold skull spider mask.
