[Ep. XVII][Rebels][Week 2] In Plain Sight
Puvel replied to Cody Startale's topic in Nar Eurbrikka Archive
Nice little build! I always like variety in the colours but think changing the reddish brown to tan might have worked better looking at the screenshot from the movie. But then it might have been too much of a desert look of course. Adding the little river makes it a lot livelier so well done on that!- 4 replies

Your bounty hunter is basically a second character in the universe, whether you're a rebel or an imperial. As far as I remember you need a 'main' character since you won't get enough XP to reach all the caps when only building BH missions. Good start anyway! Build has a genuine Tatooine vibe. Nice work on the AC unit and yay for the little frog by the water

Purple really works on the U-wing! Looks great. The first pic is excellent as well, nice focus in there

Thanks Tariq! The sides were inspired by the 501st builds soon flickr, they have loads of awesome little scenes Thanks Josh! Thanks Cody! I'm sure we'll reach the generator before we'll see any rebels close by Thanks for the points! We'll use them wisely

Marching orders: Using our 3 movements, we'd like to go 1 down and 2 left towards B23. Left and down are our preferred movement options. As intel reported increased Rebel activity on the planet, the empire realised protecting the shield generator should be its highest priority. Losing the generator could have disastrous consequences. Puvel and his team were on patrol in the area when the team got reassigned as defensive reinforcements. They’d have to find their way back on their own as all transport were deployed to gather reinforcements from further away locations.

[COR-AMRCA] Mokolei Expedition
Puvel replied to Lord Buckethead's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
I agree with Elostirion. Hadn't had time to read the entire things so far but I'm happy I did now. Excellent writing and beautiful builds, keep it up! -
Was good fun 2 years ago! Will try and join again

Looks very interesting! Landscapes are more my thing than spaceships so I'll definitely make an effort this episode!

[AMCRA - Puvel] Exploring Fiorentia (The Island of Flowers)
Puvel replied to Puvel's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
Thanks Elostirion! Was fun building slopes for that one, hope to make some more once (if) the expedition reaches the hills Thanks Ayrlego! Deadlines are always a good motivation to finish builds I'd like to think I'm a Corri gentleman indeed! There are only a few trees on the island according to its description: -
The Cocovia Wagonway: Wooden Bridge

Excellent build! Lovely colours, especially like the layers from the grass to the rocks underneath. Sturdy looking bridge as well, great job -
Beautiful looking pub indeed! Dark green and reddish brown never fails to look amazing. The angles of the windows looks really nice and the mining posing is excellent. Great pics as usual too! One day I'll learn how to use focus properly too :D

[AMCRA - Puvel] Exploring Fiorentia (The Island of Flowers)

Thanks Kai! Should have placed the leaf one in a bit of an angle too actually, can't really see that it's a sloped roof with the leaves hanging over the woodwork now. But glad you like it anyway Thanks SilentWolf! You have a good point there. I'm not the best at minifig placement, I'll practise a bit more Thanks Professor! Now I've got that song from Moana in my head Thanks Garmadon! Never been called a master before I think! Used up all my lime in these builds, so will have to destroy them before the next stage. -
Looks like a cosy place to chill on any other day :D The tablecloth is simple but looks very nice. Most LEGO pubs I've seen just have wooden tables so that really stands out. The little plants look great as well, might have to put some of those Fiorentia
-
Hehe those two sailers at the front look like they'll try to go to the pub straight away to spend that money

If we made an elaborate continuation of the mission, does that mean we can register 3 free builds? Haven't registered the one from last month either but was wondering if registering a bunch of builds with the same topic wouldn't cause any errors.

[AMCRA - Puvel] Exploring Fiorentia (The Island of Flowers)

PART TWO: My dearest Matilda, Reading about explorers and their adventures surely is a lot more relaxing than the actual experience! Still, this is more exciting of course. Disaster almost struck on our first day here as we’re currently hiding from a massive storm heading our way. I spotted the big dark clouds forming in the distance on time as I was looking at the marvellous scenery through the looking glass. We kept track of them to check the direction they were going and unfortunately they are moving rapidly towards us. I’m just happy we spotted the storm on time so we had time to prepare. Looking at those clouds I wouldn’t want to be wandering about right now. The expedition is full of experienced soldiers that know how to handle a crisis so we quickly made up a new strategy. We decided not to take any chances and chop down some of the rare trees here. Leftenant Hornblower figured the leaves would make a decent roof, unfortunately there weren’t much of them. So I suggested slicing some of the tree trunks and using the bark as well. We ended up being able to construct 2 simple shacks, let’s hope they’re strong enough to face the upcoming storm! Affectionately yours, Puvel Preparations: The bark shack: The leaves shack:
