  1. The biggest problem for me is the legs. What would be ideal is dual molded black legs with with "boots" and a big of printing above that. Any time white or light colours are printed onto dark plastic the contrast with the white or lightly coloured plastic is awful. I wish this was fixed somehow.
  2. Wow, great find. It's great that we'll finally have better access to the x-wing torsos from 75132
  3. Looks great. Your diorama is really nice as well
  4. Wow that is excellent. So much better. I have no idea why it isn't like that in 75135, there's no yellowish stripes whatsoever.
  5. This is cool. I have some suggestions to make also. The fleet emblems on the stickers need to be rotated 90 degrees. This is legos fault. I also don't understand why they added tan details on the stickers for the outer wing foils in 75135. That isn't there on obi wans ship. Would you be able to edit the file in photoshop with these changes? I would just like to see how it looks (:
  6. Me too, wouldn't say I'm an imperial 'fan' but I do have a lot of sheevs goons. Interested to see your Yularen legs, I was thinking of getting the legs from the cmf witch and erasing the black and white lines above the 'knees' to get the tunic and boots look.
  7. B wing is very pretty
  8. post-hoth? Could you please elaborate I'm interested (:
  9. Thanks. The use of the inverted pieces was mainly done to slim it down as much as possible to create the illusion of 1 plate thickness. Originally as you can see in the first wip pics I had used Jeracs initial design but that was before I began to make this my own in areas. They are a bit unsightly from some angles but I think it's worth it
  10. Finally finished!! photos: https://www.flickr.c...s/48109771@N05/
  11. Looking good . this reminds me Obi-wan: what is your favourite level in this game? Tion medon : 10th level Obi-wan: Why? Tion Medon: THOUSANDS of battledroids.
  12. Very cool . legos neglect of bespin is staggering
  13. 10030 is a model of darth vaders ship (the one in the beginning of star wars )
  14. I really hope tarkin isn't in the rebels dark tan. They need to bin that
  15. Yeah, cool stuff. I don't mind the mismatching because it's easy to fix yourself, and make different ranks in the porcess
  16. Good list, perhaps a little wishful, but there are many glaring omissions from the collection of Star Wars figures lego has produced, for sure. Commander Neyo has been produced also, in 75137. I believe his armour is the same as the other officers in the 91st recon
  17. My goodness, this is extraordinary. It blows 10195 out of the water. The nose art is super impressive really superb
  18. No. What do you mean by ground troops? In the VD it is explained that due to the lack of personnel, resistance fighters fulfil multiple roles. One of the alien technician guys is included in 75102
  19. Ah, okay. Don't worry, I am familiar with that studio model, it's the main reference I've used when drafting my model. How do you scale your creations to the 'real' (sw universe) thing? For a while I have been more or less following a 1 stud = foot scale. Canonically, the t-70 is listed as being 12.48 metres long, so basically 41 feet. Your model is very beautiful, but looks much longer than 41 studs. Which is not necessarily a fault of your design, it just depends on how you interpret 'minifig scale', especially given the problems created by the wonky proportions of the minifgure. So I guess my question is, how do you determine your scaling of various craft, in relation to established metric lengths 'in universe', the Lego minifig, etc?
  20. Nice. I am quite curious (not in a critical way) of your interpretation of scale and the relationship with the mini figure in your X-wing models. I'm inthe process of building and refining a t-65 and t-70, would you mind sharing the reference material you've used?
  21. Yeah, this is legit. Image: *snip*
  22. This is looking outstanding so far
  23. New version is a beauty.
