So I don't know if anyone else has noticed this, but you can now play the Mask of Creation game on the Bionicle website.

I only have two main complaints about the skull villains and that's the lack of individual skull masks and the trans orange shoehorned into every set. Aside from that they fit the skeleton warriors theme very well and I like the idea and execution overall. Scorpio does leave something to be desired but I plan to obtain every Bionicle set of gen2, if only for their parts and for the sake of being a completionist. Initially I was not a fan of Slicer but he has grown on me. It would help if he had thigh armor and a new or recolored mask, but he is absolutely worth getting for the delicious trans apple green bones and blended mask of jungle. I also love four armed characters and I'm glad he has a gear function that affects all four arms. Grinder is definitely my favorite skull villain though, he just looks so evil.

I like it and want more like it, aside for the freakin' PEW PEW LAHZORZ and Kopaka levitating for some weird reason. Lewa and Tahu's animations were very reminiscent of the promo videos back in 01' and I love that. Also why no love for Onua in that ad?

Ah, I can see it now. They burst out of the ground walking creepily toward the camera making guttural noises with lighting, thunder and rain, I can't wait!

I was thinking the same thing. Seems a bit odd that Nickelodeon would have a Bionicle microsite.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't the trans Hau promotion "while supplies last"? So people who are exploiting the glitch, like the individual above with 30 OF THEM are potentially screwing over other potential receivers of said promotion, yes? I'm sure LEGO has oodles to spare and are separated by region so that shouldn't be a big issue. Money is really tight for me right now but I plan to get that polybag once it's available in March. I would like a trans Hau but not nearly as badly as others do, nor will I EVER consider buying one from a scalper but unfortunately others have and will be exploited. Like I said, not a huge deal for me, besides Onua has always been my favorite from day one in 2001 This could be a big issue though for the Tahu lovers out there.

I would be very surprised if LoSS doesn't join the skull gang in the ancient city so that there are 6 enemies to face off against the 6 Toa.

I really wish they would give us comics again, after all, we have the get the mask and quest for the mask comics, if they made those into an actual comic book series and put them in club magazines like the old comics with actual story content I would be very happy.

This talk of Matoran/Protectors assembling their children reminds me of that mediocre RoBoTs animated movie with Robin Williams where the start of the movie is the protagonist's parents putting him together after his parts were shipped to them in a box. Honestly, I think with what we have seen, the Protectors birth and raise children as we do and it isn't meant to be focused on, just something to make them relateble and 'normal'. The way this subject was handled in gen1 was just rather strange and distancing in terms of relateabillity of the characters, which is something you really don't want when trying to create a compelling story.

Wow, a very beautiful little bird. The combination of trans apple green, black and purple really pops as a color scheme. Great use of the AFB egg shell for folded wings.

Do we know for sure Makuta is still asleep? I don't remember seeing that anywhere, was this in some promo material I might have missed?

I am really looking forward to this! Hopefully the character roster won't be too limited, I really want to play as Ghost Rider again!!! Playing as GR in the MCU levels would be awesome. Despite the F4 , Sony and Xmen ban, they will more than likely still include members that have been Avengers in the comics like Wolverine and Spider-man. There could be some really awesome dlc levels in the future covering Doctor Strange, Black Panther, etc. -
Great work! I think the only thing it's missing to fit in with the rest of the skull army is the random and unnecessary bits of trans-orange thrown into the mix.

Grinder is by far my favorite of the bunch. Basher is a close second. I hated Slicer at first but the more I look at him the more I like him, his upper legs are still too bare though and I'm still not thrilled with the re-used skull spider mask. The bone pieces look a lot better now that we have close ups, still rather skinny but they at least try to look like a tibia and fibia. I am not a fan of the trans orange tacked onto all the sets and I expect some sort of reason for it to be there. I love the use of the new chima flame piece in black as horns on Grinder and his trident looks nice. Overall he looks solid( as solid as a decaying skeleton warrior could be). He looks very evil for sure. Ekimu is perfect, nothing really to say that hasn't already been said about him. Scorpio is hideous and I hope for the sake of the visual sacrifice that the lashing tail function works really well. I love that Basher has a lashing forward function as opposed to swinging arms though his horns should be black as purple is no where else on the set except for trans purple.

I was not expecting those wicked blended masks! Also wasn't expecting Scorpio to have trans neon armor. I'm glad Slicer has the trans apple green! So awesome can't wait for more pics! Grinder appears to have trans orange eyes so that should put some fears to rest. In fact the whole skull gang seem to have trans orange eyes! We can now confirm that Ekimu has a gearbox.

Very nicely done, she looks great. I like the use of the protector mask. Her tools look a little strange and out of place but I guess those were conceptualizing.

Well they certainly are... interesting. I'm definitely loving the weapon pieces and Ekimu looks great. I hope the new bone pieces aren't as utterly worthless as they look and although they are skeletons, that is no excuse for the lack of armor. I'm really hoping they end up being a lot better than the initial reaction.

Wow very nice, Stormer's helmet works really well as an Ultron head.

I'm am quite intrigued by the new Darth Vader minifig in The Final Duel, other than that I have no interest whatsoever in the epI rehash sets. The new rebels set sounds neat but not incredible, at least Sabine will have her helmet. Unfortunately this year the Star Wars sets are mostly a giant 'meh' with a couple exceptions. I really hope the epVII sets are awesome.

Outstanding work! I love the Venator class ships, so cool. Excellent job, I would totally buy both of these were they sets.

I actually LOLed at the second picture. Very nice, I bet this is what he will look like (assuming of course he will even be in the epVII sets.

Incredible work! I love the Arc 170, such a cool fighter. It is definitely one UCS I would love to have.

Onua master of Earth is a must buy. He is a great, bulky build and his warhammer is super cool.
