I totally agree and will take it a step further by saying I would like elemental infusions, utilizing more trans colors and pieces based on the elements. For example, purple crystal spikes for Onua, thorny vines on Lewa, etc. I could see Pohatu having a new tan sand dune-like swooped armor add on to better separate Earth and Stone, while Onua has a more crystaline appearance. Heck, that same swoop piece could be used in trans blue on Gali too.

I'm fascinated. Hopefully it is something like what people thought LEGO Universe was going to be.
-
I like the shape of the vehicle but the color scheme leaves something to be desired and the wings have too many studs showing and look rather gappy and uneven. At that price point, I'm going to have to see a lot more to decide if it's worth getting.

This was posted 2 days ago so it is now a Link to the Past Sorry I couldn't resist! Also, the prototype masks haven't really been all that different from the final version except Tahu's. That prototype is so derpy and ugly. The concept art though... so beautiful. It's unfortunate these videos really weren't very informative or show much of anything new and the designers seem like they had to make something up on the spot. They sure seemed really nervous.

LEGO Dimensions Physical Brick Discussion

I am so psyched for the Portal pack, especially if it means we might get other Portal sets in the future, regardless I'm just so happy we get this! Regardless of whether or not I decide to get the game, I'm getting that pack. New portal gun mold, so awesome!- 527 replies

I'm starting to wonder if Skull Grinder will end up being Makuta and this is his 'first form', before returning to full power later in the story or something when he regains the MoUP. He didn't get the special burial Ekimu did so perhaps his body decayed like the other skull villains and must be rebuilt using the MoC. Regardless I have little doubt we will eventually get a Makuta set in the future with the MoUP. Regardless, the more I look at Skull Grinder, the more I like him. He is such a bad@$$, heavy metal-looking bad guy. However, 'Mask Stealer Staff' is probably the worst name for a weapon I have ever heard. It is even less intimidating than the name Blue Eyes White Dragon. Seriously, I get that naming weapons isn't high up on the designers' list of priorities and I don't expect anything great for the names of weapons, heck the weapon naming and featuring in general is probably better than gen1 ever had, but-- wow lol. I actually don't mind that the skull villains reuse masks as the two new molds we are getting look amazingly sinister and there appears to be a cool story reason Slicer reuses a silver Skull Spider mask, unless the description is referring to the golden skull spider mask, after all it says skull spider mask, not skull spider. Even these small promotional descriptions add some nice potential for future story and world building, Skull Slicer in particular.

I am glad to finally get some news on the summer wave! The combiners sound interesting and we get some neat story tidbits. Slicer's description makes me like him even more and we now know there was a gladiatorial arena of sorts in the ancient city. It is also interesting that the Mask of Skull Spiders is responsible for the necromantic shenanigans. It seems that the skull villains are single (nameless *sigh*) enemies as opposed to a horde-like enemy as I was hoping they were. Who knows, they might still be.

Star Wars Constraction 2015 Discussion
Toa Palpo replied to just2good's topic in LEGO Action Figures
That Grievous knockoff isn't too shabby and it has a cape! As far as ideas for the next wave go, I imagine we will get Kylo Ren and a new Stormtrooper and/or a Chrometrooper(imagine it was actually chrome!). I could see Boba Fett and Chewbacca(there do exist "fur" pieces) and a Battle Droid, C3PO, Darth Maul, etc. -
Star Wars Constraction 2015 Discussion
Toa Palpo replied to just2good's topic in LEGO Action Figures
Cody looks great though it's unfortunate the back of his legs are bare. Jango is decent though there isnt enough blue and i could have bet money that he would have a flick fire built into his jetpack. Grievous's toes still really bother me. There should be 2 in the front and 2 in the back, not 3 in the front and none in the back and is a tad bare on leg armoring but both are easy fixes. Other than that he looks amazing. For the constraction haters, gtho and quite your whining. Constraction has been around for 15 years and its here to stay. If you don't like it, stay in the system forums! Anyway, there are some great recolors and I look forward to seeing the new molds used creatively in Bionicle. -
The rumored sets sound amazing. I hope they are true but I won't put much stock in them until we get prelims.

Star Wars Constraction 2015 Discussion

I'm guessing Jango will be azure like Gali, I won't bet on sand blue but I will be pleasantly surprised if he is. That 360 of Grievous makes him look WAAAAY better, so pumped to get him now! -
Thanks for the pics guys! I unfortunately will only be able to afford one set from this line and hopefully we get a good look at the Dilo set soon. That will likely be my only purchase for this theme. That or the Pteranadon set. Or the T-Rex chase. Gosh, it's hard to choose.

What was the worst construction set?

Aquagon. He was just so bland and boring, though I appreciate the 'creature of the black lagoon' attempt. -
Marvel Superheroes 2015 Rumors & Discussion

I bet we might get an Agent Coulson minifig as the pre-order bonus. If he came with the Destroyer cannon, it would be even better. Bruce Banner would be good too. -

Grievous is a mess but still manages to look great and I have to have him! Obi-Wan looks great too and I like that he more closely resembles his armored Clone Wars version, which makes sense given the medium. -
Honestly, any of those new molds can work well in Bionicle under the right circumstances.

What looks best on ultron prime as legs to make him size accurate

I would say Darth Maul's robo legs from his Clone Wars incarnation would look cool. -

Very nicely done! -
Your list does not contain Ghost Rider, I am disappointed in you. Throw in Ghost Rider and I would love to have a Marvel minifig series! Who am I kidding, I would like one anyway but I love all things Ghost Rider and I MUST have an official Ghost Rider minifig someday.
-
Kylo Ren=Revan confirmed! In all seriousness, I love how he looks like Revan and I look forward to seeing his minifig counterpart!
-
It looks great! Given how many rehashed vehicles we get every year, it wouldn't surprise me if we got a new Starfighter like this in the near future, maybe it could include an updated Jango Fett and a Kaminoan! I'd buy it.

It's really frustrating that gen2 has a small budget when Bionicle is LEGO's most successful homegrown theme next to Ninjago. Heck, Ninjago has a tv show and a huge following yet LEGO doesn't have enough faith in it to give it anything more than a 3ds game. At least they will get a part in Dimensions with booster packs so they'll be in a console game to some degree. I'll be happy if Bionicle at least gets a 3ds game but for now my hopes aren't high given the current app-happy generation. I want a real video game dangit. I'm not sure what to think about this Dimensions game just yet. The game concept sounds good and I like the intermixing of various themes but I'm not sure I like the idea or forking over large amounts of money for a few minifigs and minibuilds for what is tantamount to a little dlc. The idea of toys connected to games is cool but they way it is implemented is terrible and expensive. At least with LEGO the minifigs can be taken off the stands and actually used for play whereas Skylanders and Amiibos are just plastic figures with no movement or play value. I might look into it when the starter pack is on sale or if we get some nice booster packs like the Back to the Future one, otherwise I'll pass. I seriously doubt Bionicle will show up in Dimensions but if it does... that might be a game changer. A Bionicle booster pack with Bionicle minifigs or masks(most likely) and a Bionicle levels would be cool.

Hey you based your Rahkshi design off of my BBC entry! I'm honored.

It's really hard to choose just one but if I had to it would be Axxon. He is just a solid titan all around and although his hands are huge, they allowed for great possibility.
