  1. Love the minifigs, they did a splendid job, and the buildable Minions are impressive. Will be hard to resist these... have to watch a few reviews to see if the sets are also as good in the flesh [prints as opposed to stickers, etc] or just grab the minis like Huigbert's said.
  2. Here here!! So many times those reviews swayed me one way or the other on obtaining CMF's by pointing out details I had missed, and how great the demand for certain figs was likely to be/which ones to grab first. It's not a proper series without a WF review.
  3. I wasn't going to, but after seeing the bracelet pictures over at Brickset, I have decided to. I love the printed tiles used. Just hope the bracelets go to adult sizes, but if not will use the tiles elsewhere. Not sure how I feel about the Emoji ones, but will have to wait and see as to how useful they will be.
  4. Exceedingly clever build and amazing parts usage. The tie around his waist blew me away and was my first hint as to the size. I love how you captured so much of the scene and how you built the mop. I don't quite know what part you used for the bristles. If you had the instructions for sale, I would buy in a heartbeat.
  5. Ditto, except even Duplo would suffice, so long as it had Rafiki and a baby Simba. I would actually love a build of Rafiki's tree, with the paintings and other objects.
  6. Incredible. When I saw your username, I knew it would be good. Very clever parts usage.
  7. Sweet, thanks. Shall ask a friend up there to go shopping for me.
  8. Any sign of the Vitruvian torso or the white Santa hat, @Pchan1983? [New Plymouth]
  9. That's a very cool Easter egg. Nice spotting and thanks for sharing.
  10. Love the pink elephant! Hope it will make it to new zealand in a few months.
  11. That looks awesome! It would fit in with the Friends and Big Bang sets perfectly. Well done!
  12. I was at a LUG bbq yesterday, and these sets were brought up within a group of about 8. Of those 8, I was the only one to say that yes, I would be buying them. Fingers crossed they are out before May, in time for a local show.
  13. Loving the sets, and can't wait for clearer pics. So many awesome new pieces and prints, and I love the use of fabric, just hope it is hard wearing. I see several shots with cupcakes on top of the hair... pin attachment? I can see buying several of the tree set and expanding it for homes for the rest of the characters. Really looking forward to building these, but hoping it will be a single wave. I would have liked to see Poppy's dad and Satin and Chenille, but the latter two would be tricky due to their hair being connected.
  14. Would the Faun hairpiece work for a goat? Though it would look oddnet the more full head coverings the other figs use.
  15. The saddle placement would be too far back. A human attachment needs to be more over the front legs/shoulders
  16. Very cute! Hopefully they will be readily available everywhere. Also, nice that LEGO got product out without leaks!
  17. I love those plates! Very cool design.
  18. Very nicely done. Lovely wee build.
  19. At least these will give interesting torsos and legs if nothing else to those who don't like figs as a whole. Angry Birds figs gave nothing at all in that respect.
  20. I really like them, and hope the sets look great. Glad they went with moulded heads and not the Toy Story abominations. Can't wait to see them in person/review videos.
  21. I built this the other day, and am delighted someone finally made a sturdy roof for one of these sets! I think it's my favourite part of the whole build. So many of the previous ones fall apart easily, so I might see if theres away to use this technique to make them stronger. I don't like the bathroom, having the toilet comes across as juvenile, but chance are one of the new poop pieces will find it's way there... Also, I am going to borrow the gingerbread kid idea mentioned above, hopefully have legsthe right color.
  22. Likewise, I don't remember any of the humans from the show. I would love them to include figs of Jim Henson Frank Oz and other important "behind the Muppets" people. As to the Muppets themselves, Big Bird, Oscar, Bert and Ernie plus Kermit are essentials. Snuffleupagus would be nice, Miss Piggy, Animal, Rowlf and, and, and... So many fond memories, so few fig spaces!
  23. Yes, I am Coopa. You are right it was the same person. The bags tear easily at the back seam, no need for cutting.
  24. Sorry, but I laughed way too hard at that! Must have been one heck of a tackle! I saw photos from one collector who had 6 towels in his bath guy pack.
  25. Great review, as always! Even though I already have my set, it doesn't feel complete without your review. I hope to see the teddy bear mould re-printed usng the bear costume design. My favourite from the series, followed by fox suit.
