  1. Honestly, I am tempted to pic up second copies of all the sets, just for the minifigures. They look awesome, and I don't agree about the quality or designs being less than that of a standard CMF. There are some very creative designs and unique parts and colors. I do agree the big sets should have been brought out sooner. they may have helped the app, too. I never used it, but going by the instructions, the sets had abilities to change things as well. The boombox should have come out with the first wave, and then the smaller sets afterwards.
  2. It was probably done that way due to aesthetics, so it balances out the picture.
  3. No, username "insvention". 458 posts, and around 2700 followers. Looking closer, it could be a MOC they are working on, but it looked like a leak. Sorry for not being more onto it, I don't do much on IG
  4. There is a post on IG saying there is a Monsters Inc Scare Chamber coming soon. Micro castle could be linked to that?
  5. Does anyone have a list of what bandmates/beatbox figs go with each stage set? Some I have worked out based on colors and obvious themes, but others, like the cowboy, aliens, fantasy, some animals, samurapper and the horror don't seem to fit anywhere. I only have the boombox left to build. I have enjoyed loading the stages up with their suitable bandmates figs. Looking really good.
  6. Didn't we get a Youtuber a few series back, the guy with the green hair? I don't recall his name, and he wasn't someone I had heard of. I would find it funny if they did a series based on popular/well known LEGO reviewers on various platforms... Jang, Whitefang [from here], and whoever else. Jang would have to come with two heads, a regular minifig and the Twitch one.
  7. Well, New Zealand is back in lockdown for a few days, so I went and rescued the rest of the Vidiyo sets from layaway. Opening and removing minifigs for display, and then will look at building over the next few days.
  8. Out of the ones I have here, the blue gummy bear is my favourite so far. I still have the rest of the big sets and a couple of Beatboxes on layaway, might rescue them this weekend.
  9. Thank you, Evans. Will pass the info along.
  10. Slightly off topic, but the "jokes" being made at the expense of the tragedy annoy me. Not just on here, but elsewhere too. For some reason, the fact over 1500 people died that night is humorous to some. To me, it would be like making a joke about what happened during WW2, or when the Twin Towers collapsed. A death is a death, and not something to be made light of.
  11. Well, darn. I was hoping to have a chat with the owner in a couple of weeks and ask if they were getting them. Hopefully Warehouse will still get them in. I mean, could always buy from S@H, but you aren't guaranteed a full/complete case that way.
  12. Oh, that is good news. Hopefully it is a full release in the countries where it is currently sold, otherwise they will be nearly impossible to get hold of.
  13. Here in New Zealand, they are 50% off at most if not all the stores that carry them. That includes everything from Bandmates right through to the largest set. Makes me glad I held off on the last 3 Beatboxes, they went from $28 to $13, much more acceptable. I have also never bothered with the app, just loved the figs, which will go on display once I have got the rest out of layaway and can see how many there are properly.
  14. Thank you. I need that pink gummy bear, for sure. They all look great, just hope they won't be too limited in their release. Either release them fully, or not at all.
  15. Have we seen pics of the series 2 Bandmates? I still hope they will happen, as I love the figs from this range.
  16. @Pchan1983 The Warehouse has them all 50% off. I put everything i didn't have on layaway. Looks like a permanent price drop.
  17. Hi team, A friend of mine has a mega Lego collection, including a number of old glued store promo displays. He has, among others, a witch on a wooden broom with hooks to hang, a viking, a motorbike big enough for a child to sit on, a large bell tower with hooting owl, a chimp on a branch and a number of smaller models like a hot air balloon, clown head, a Dutch woman about the size of a drink bottle, a Primo coat rack and a Darth Vader. He has acquired these in New Zealand from various sources. The viking was found broken up in someones yard after being thrown out a window, the motorbike came from a thrift shop, the Dutch woman I found at a weekend market, and the rest I don't know. He repairs and cleans them up for display. He is struggling to find information about any of it and would like to connect with others who have knowledge and to share what he knows. If anyone here can help, I will tell him to make an account here to communicate here. Many thanks in advance.
  18. @Pchan1983, what shop is having the discount please? thanks. Still have one of the Beatboxes to get.
  19. New sets spotted in New Zealand last night. Scanned up the big set with 4 minifigs... an eye watering $144NZD. I don't think I will carry on the collection, just Bricklink what I want instead.
  20. Not having seen the set in full yet, I would normally try and buy another two doors, and store them somewhere unobtrusive within the set. I know you shouldn't have to, but it would work for me. Then just switch out the doors as required.
  21. Can you believe I forgot about Phoebe? And she was always my favourite, too. In saying that, all I really remember about her apartment is the fight with the smoke alarm... lol. For something else iconic from Joey's, the box fort with the crazy hats. They could do a Joey wearing all those clothes of Chandler's.
  22. If they do Joey and Chandler's, they should also do Ross' apartment as well. Not as iconic, but would be weird for all of them to have a home except one.
  23. 2 Brickheadz sets have been seen in the usual spot. Both are 3 packs: Bob, Kevin [in orange jumpsuits] and Belle Bottom. Stuart, Otto [in blue overalls] and Gru.
  24. Yes, sorry. The stage show. I went to see it a few years ago, and just booked tickets for a show in June. I adore the costumes and makeup, and don't mind admitting to being in tears when the elephant went past in the aisle.
