  1. nothing at the warehouse, but they had the new city sets and the shelves have been refilled along the whole aisle. will try again tomorrow, and maybe farmers. our nearest toyworld is 45min away and im too broke to go down there, lol.
  2. thanks, coopa. will check out warehouse tomorrow after work, since its literally on my way home. heres hoping! will be doing the sealed box for the disney series, but will stick to the feel method for this one. edit: actually, going to the warehouse this afternoon. so will have a look then. will report back :)
  3. sadly, i never got into gargoyles as a kid, but i found a goliath action figure with fabric wings at a thrift store a year or so back. bit of thread and a pin, and hes hanging from my ceiling. ive watched a few episodes online, and can see the appeal. i admire the designs. goliath looks like he could be beasts cousin. he would need the fauns legs in the right color, the gargoyles wings and torso, and likely a hair piece to get the correct head shape. tail would likely be a new mould. dont know if scratchy's would be the right style or not.
  4. good idea given how many police minifigs have been placed in the advent calendars. [two of the nicer looking ones joined my small band along with lisa simpson]
  5. thanks for that. will try warehouse next week. nothing there today, only 2 of the monsters left [brickfoot and the monster rocker] decided i didnt need them lol. was hoping one would be tiger lady.
  6. the babysitting i did as a teen never included actual babies. more 3 years and over. only babies ive ever looked after alone were my niece and nephews. i remember taking my niece for a walk into town. she would have been about 1, i would have been 20 or 21, and getting some filthy looks even then. felt like getting her a shirt "worlds best niece" or something, lol. locally at least, we dont have babysitting companies, mostly individuals looking for a bit of cash and experience. so long as the babysitter had normal legs, most kids would assume mother and baby before anything else.
  7. going to try in my town today. new zealand, so part of the commonwealth. fingers crossed!
  8. only thing if minnie has a hole between her ears for a bow, it wont look right, as her bows are always upright, not lying flat like the friends ones do.
  9. nice work. i like the angles in the back, especially since they look like they can attach to a baseplace as is, unlike santas workshop. really like the firepit, too. all it needs is some people with marshmallows.
  10. pete could make a good pair with goofy, given their relationship in the goofy movie, goof troop etc, however, given the size of his body, i would hope for a moulded body or some kind of slip over "costume" like hotdog guy. like sulley and beast, he wouldnt look right with a normal body. comic book guy from the simpsons also needed a moulded body... his minifig looked funny.
  11. very nicely done! unique, too. good luck
  12. what, no skeletons? i like the hearse. nicely designed
  13. i love this. the snow hanging off the edge of the roof looks great. i love the repurposing of unikittys tail, and the santa hats on the poles. i also like the pastel blues and greens used to give the snow some depth. colors i wouldnt have thought to use.
  14. so, so pleased genie will be included. hoping for aladdin. would love if he would come with abu, but not holding out hopes. the monkey figure would work, but doesnt have the fez.
  15. adorable
  16. i gave up watching due to the volume of the music. couldnt hear much of what was being said.
  17. snow queen sounds promising. hopefully she will have a long cape like the magicians but in pale blue with silver snow flakes. pure white hair would be awesome too. maybe something spikey? accessory, if not a mirror, maybe a blue flame like those used in the frozen set?
  18. i have looked at this set a number of times and am so tempted to buy it. i like the bigger build with the catwalk. does anyone know if it would integrate well with the winter village? would have to do some mods to make it looked snowy, but size wise it looks about right.
  19. lovely display. i really like the christmas tree out front, the wrapping paper. the lights caught my eye first. love how youve color coordinated the studs with the pieces the attach to.. how are the icicles done?
  20. really well done!
  21. really happy little scene. love the elf peeping in the window.
  22. thanks, just2. i like the main build, but not the others so much. with the third build, it seems the door should be where the 3 windows are, treating the sandy patch where the frog is like a deck. i will pick up at least one copy, but may get more if i want more moose. can the moose not be built with the other 2 designs? if not, it seems odd they didnt incorporate the antlers as a trophy like they did the fish.
  23. love the brickwork in the chimney and the lower part of the walls. great use of the flipper pieces too.
  24. really like the design and exterior color scheme of this. looks nice and cosy
