For Sale: Toronto Store Minifigure Set
Cara replied to IAmWillGibson's topic in Buy, Sell, Trade and Finds
If these are like another grand opening set that I have their backs will be printed with the name of the store and the year, so although the front looks like figures available elsewhere, they are unique to a collector. -
I like this because its exactly what happens with the Mom at the gate and send the kids up to the house I recognise the fish sticker but what is the blue brick that you placed it on?

! Beware this Hong Kong buyer/seller!
Cara replied to brightston's topic in Buy, Sell, Trade and Finds
You shipped them DHL did you ask for signature required? If not they would have left it on his doorstep. And if he's travelling it likely sat there until someone swiped it. There's no guarantee he even got the shipment :( to be able to return it to you. -
I was at the Stoneridge Lego Grand opening today and was told by an employee who normally works at Valley Fair lego store that they now have the collectible minifigure vampire, witch, big hair (so guess disco?) and one other series 2 minifigure parts in their build a minifigure boxes. If so then its not only limited to series 1 because that series didn't have the wide distribution, and will more of series 1 come to BAM boxes or just more series 2 hmm? I have been hoping for my zombie army... Cara.

Contest: The Underwater Version

Do we, or can we, add the sea floor and sea surrounding it? Or is it meant to be just the original set sunken-ified? -
Wow, those trees turn it into something exceptional! Living near palms trees like that, the shape you've given them implies so much motion, it's spot on. Fantastic job.

Thank you to everyone for your comments. Here is a link to the scene of the wagon whose axle has broken at the top of the hill and which is about to cause the impending stagecoach crash. Thank you! I made the hill in 6 sections and each section is made from a combination of reddish brown plates that are 4x4 and 4x2 wedge in size. Thank you! I was so happy with the way the stagecoach's curved sides worked. Room for 4 seated inside. Which reminds me those guys aren't included in the photographs of the cast that I added to flickr. =) I had a lot of fun. My favourite is probably the grape vine with the forestmen's hats as leaves. Or either the Gungan patrol shield or Aero tube joiner as windows in the white sided house. Thank you. This is a photograph of the miners. I was happy with the way the cabling came out on the mine head tower. Best Wishes! Cara.

Very fun! Nice job on the delorean - good luck.

I too like the falling down building. Nice :)

Lovely log walls, turning the palasade bricks on their side really works well. I like the boys scared face it adds a lot of drama to the scene - good luck!

Eurobricks Spaghetti Western Competition

I have one tree that has an overhang of one palm tree leaf length. Is this too much? If so I'll remove the tree. Thank you. Cara. [Edit] This is for category 2, I read the change of base configuration post a few up and noticed the comment about overhang. -
Nice street scene and I adore the vulture.

Aye, I agree with others here, I love the structure of the beams showing through on the side.

yes they were $2.99

Today we found series 5 in northern California, in the south bay. They were at Sunnyvale, Curtner and Blossom Hill TRU's. Others may have had them but were no longer there. We found limits of 3 or 5 packets per transaction. The Lego store still said they will not get them until September 1st. - Cara

You are allowed to get any 15 items for the $9.99

There were no accessories.

I went into Valley Fair lego shop today and found the caveman, cheerleader, ninja, wrestler, spaceman and native american girl in the build a miniature box. The ninja were barely there (only found one hood and a few bodies), the wrestler likewise was almost gone. The cheerleader faces there were very few of and I eschewed them in favor of other torsos. They had apparently been there since last week. My flickr image of them Cara.

I had this problem at Target too. Even the manager told me once its out of their system they can't sell it because its meant to be salvage.

1 point to each of: 16 Ottelily's hockey player, this made me smile from the sense of atmosphere 17 Diidy's hazmat guy, nice build 38 Pelle's Kimono girl, I like the tree's shape, very Japanese garden-esque.

TRU has a Spinjitsu Camp from 12pm-2pm. I am not sure what any giveaways are for this. Then Borders has a FREE Pharaoh's Quest scarab building set with their Throne of Fire release party at 2pm. My local Borders will take reservations but only from 1pm onwards so I suggest you contact yours and find out. This has a suggested age but doesn't say it excludes adults. Have fun! Cara.
