After leaving an Alamut at the Santa Clara lego store on Boxing day I've been regretting it ever since. But tonight I found one at Walmart! I know it wasn't on the shelves last week. It was not in the clearance section. It was in the general toys area but not with the lego (puzzles actually :P) The shelf tag said that it was special price Jan 25-Feb 3. I bought it. Good luck finding one at a Walmart further up the penninsular. Edit: It's box was pretty beaten up but it was $39.50

This is my version of Fred & George's Weasley's Wizard Wheezes shop on Diagon Alley. It is a mixture of film and book description. I have made it the same height as the buildings in the new Diagon Alley set. Links in this thread lead to detailed images in my flickr album. I hope you enjoy it! The Outside: With a big purple poster poking fun of the Ministry of Magic's other purple posters in Diagon Alley. Separate roast chestnut cart, chestnuts roasted by the fiery breath of a small dragon. I used a Belville torso for the top-hatted mannequin, its leg sockets attach to a 1x2 horizontal clip. The Inside (open! I like to play): Puking pastel display with Skiving Snack Boxes and U-No-Poo on the shelves above a chest of drawers. The curtains lead to the back room. To the Left: Little boy with his balloon ready to buy a punching telescope at the cash register. Reuseable hangman game on the counter. Upstairs: Weasleys' Wildfire Whiz-bangs. Containers of trick wands. One poor guy had his turn into a pair of briefs. Of course the Slytherin boy thinks this is great. Peruvian Instant Darkness Powder in the back corner cabinet. To the Right: Curtains to the back room containing more subdued products. Shield hats, cloaks and tray of gloves. On the stairs, Fred & George tell Ron that for him that costs 10 galleons! Above a child on the balcony above uses an extendable ear to listen in. Containers of quills, more ears, and plastic animals including the chicken display. A boy walks up the wall in anti-gravity sneakers. In the Center: The violently pink products of the Wonderwitch line with Hermione handling a love potion. (Dark red light brick). The display rotates. I found Target Practice polybag set at a Target in northern California today. There were lots of them stocked near the cash registers for 3.99. (Shame I had really hoped it would be an Easter section set so they would be cheaper).

My Target's also scanned at full price. However Border's had all the PoP sets and since they now do price matching, I had them price match Walmart's $9.50 Ostrich set.

Most certainly. I'm waiting on some windows arriving so they all match in colour. The only thing we have in common is the dragon on the chestnut warmer!

@Clark & kris: I think this is going to be a very popular building. @kris - mine is also medium blue with brown. I wouldn't be surpised if more of them are entered too.

I'm in two minds about the dragon. A dragon is not at Azkaban in the books, however they are elsewhere in the Potter world. But it gives a sense of scale to the building so from a MOC point of view I like it there.

The same happened to me. I found one large bag amongst many small. When I got to the register I asked if they would price match. The cashier called her supervisor who said do whatever makes them happy. Have to love Target. I found many atlantis bags in the 50% off however they all rang up as 3.99 too :(

My local LEGO b&m store had so many of the items that online were listed as sold out. I could have not shopped all the thanksgiving sales and up to Christmas ones, and just bought from this 50% off sale. It was amazing. Some of the items at the shop they hadn't had the chance to mark down so it was useful to know what the online sale had in it. Then there were all the extras PoP & power miners etc that weren't on line. I did not see the carosel, green grocer, at-at, tm, or any pirates though.

I love the look of the bricks and adore the new colours. Any new female fig is a + for me. But at $30!!!! I won't be looking at this set until I can see it for max of $20. I think a lot of my problem with it is that I don't need yet another jeep, even if it is in gorgeous colours. I agree with the person who says they'ld rather those pieces had gone into the making of the statue.

I can no longer find the target coupon for $5 off a lego set on their web site. I wondered if anyone else could in the hopes that I'm looking in the wrong area rather than that they've removed it! Thank you. Edit: had a thought going to clear my cache because I've printed it once only lost the paper. Maybe it knows. Result: (for anyone else that has trouble finding it) - it is in the Sporting goods and toys section and not the toys catalog section! I had hoped to use t on black friday because I thought it went through the 28th. However no this one says to the 24th only.

I saw those but then realised that I could get 4 men, a better jeep and a stretcher in the regular set of the price of 3 of those bags. This is where unless you are a set collector or want a stocking stuffer, becaue they are marking them up yet another dollar the price becomes such that it isn't worth it.

My local Taget has 4 of them :( I hope they get more in before BF.

I don't think the target employees expected people to buy out every gift card they could grab just to get the lego, then go spend the gift cards on whatever they were going to shop for anyway :P They were rationing them at my local targets, you had to ask specifically for them and then they'ld let you buy 1 or some places 2.

Borders is still getting new boxes in. And my local two have over 1 box each. I found spartans there a week ago. They are 3.99 why their packages aren't selling. But if you're a borders rewards member there is aways a 33% or 40% off coupon going around. Just make sure you ask if they have any more in a basket - priced up and ready go but not on the shelf (that how i've seen their extras).

Is target's bf item available in store or online or both normally?

My target had the x wings but not the boats. Only picked up two of them. They did have the gift cards but all of the gift card points around the store for them were empty. I had to ask and then they pulled one out of the back for me. I asked when the rest would go out and they said they wouldnt be yet because they put them out and they all went. What did they expect to happen? Aren't they meant to sell?
