I really dont get people here... official information appears and people still blank it and pretend we have'nt got confirmation of a certain number of sets. We know we are getting at least THREE GOTG 2 sets. We have seen these. We know we are getting at least THREE Spider-man Homecoming sets. We have confirmation of two by descriptions and the confirmation of the third by Brickset. We know we are getting at least TWO Thor Ragnarok sets. We have confirmation of two by descriptions. Can everyone please stop ignoring the factual evidence of the third Spider-man Homecoming set please, its madenning.

I theorised that it could be a Thor Ragnarok set due to the pricing alone, given a set would need to be priced roughly that amount if it included Hulk and four other figures. I did however mention that it was listed on Brickset under the Spider-man Homecoming sets. I only briefly speculated trying to justify the price, however Brickset is right on things a majority of the time given they normally require solid confirmation before listing something - so its almost certainly a Spider-man set, which was why my comment speculation fed back to the Spider-man homecoming dance as the theme the set could have to justify the price.

Figure thoughts; - Lack of arm printing on everything other than Drax is disappointing. Hoped they would include at least one piece of detailed silver arm so i could use it for the team - Plain black legs on the cheaper sets seems like a cop-out given the abundance of basic printed black leg pieces in the expensive set - Ayesha's torso and legs could probably work for female Nova Corp members - Using either Taserface or Yondu's torso and legs would work well enough to use on the rest of the Ravagers Already given my thoughts on the sets, however the only set that i feel looks good is the middle set, Ayesha's Revenge. The larger vehicle reminds me of the mining vehicle from the previous movie while the smaller vehicle looks like a fun little build. The rest of the sets just have rather weak looking builds. The Abelisk should have really been a brick-built mouth or something slightly larger than what it is, a similar problem i have with the Star Wars Rathar. I've no interest in getting The Milano again. It feels like they ran out of budget on the smaller set, the main part of the ship looks nice while the wings are just too stud covered without any of the black or red that makes up the rest of the ship design. Source is CM4Sci It is real. We have a set number and price point provided by Brickset Delta Customs likely saw a selection of sets or got information on specific sets - chances are what he saw/heard about did not include the third Spider-man Homecoming set primarily because either it was an exclusive or simply it contained spoiler elements. We have confirmation of three sets, Brickset got enough confirmation for both a number and a price point. Delta kindly got us confirmation of what was in two of those sets, but just because he got information on two sets does not make the third set fake. Kaecilius was shown around everywhere. Given he was everywhere, there was no reason he would'nt appear in a Lego set if they wanted him to. A better comparison would be Spider-man. Spider-man was hidden from Civil War's marketing for a long time and Ego so far is hidden from GOTG 2's marketing and the director has mentioned that he intends to do this as much as possible to avoid spoiling the movie's plot. Ego in particular we have'nt even seen the actor in the role, we've only seen one of his costumes on display. He seems like a character being played in a very secretive fashion similar to Spider-man was in Civil War's marketing.

There are 3 Spider-man sets according to Brickset - and Brickset doesnt normally list things that are without a good source. The price points listed are also sourced from Brickset. You mean 3 GOTG, 3 Spidey, 2 Thor. With the potential for an additional GOTG set if rumours are accurate. I am uncertain if J2G confirmed three GOTG sets - however for a time we did have confirmation of three Civil War sets until the fourth appeared. If it was a set that was not planned for immediate release with the main group of figures then that would explain why it was not listed. I just highly doubt they would'nt include Ego given the character's role in the movie - so a set containing him seems extremely likely.

So to clarify what we are getting; GOTG2 - March 76079 - $29.99 Ravager Attack 76080 - $39.99 Ayesha's Revenge 76081 - $49.99 The Milano Vs Abelisk ? - ? Potential fourth set released after movie including 'Ego', likely a similar situation to the Spider-man set for Civil War. This has been rumoured quite a bit and he does seem like a character they are keeping out of the marketting for a reason, so perhaps he will get represented in Lego form in a later set. Spider-man Homecoming - May? 76082 - $29.99 Bank Robbery, Spider-man, Two robbers with Avengers masks 76083 - $44.99 Car chase - Vulture (Brickbuilt wings), Shocker, Iron Man, Spider-man 76084 - $54.99 Though this is listed with the Spider-man Homecoming sets on Brickset, it is possible that it could be the missing 'Gladiator Ring' Thor Ragnarok set given the pricing. Its also possible that this set is based off the final battle of the movie, which is rumored to involve the titular 'Homecoming Dance' and may including spoilers explaining why we have'nt heard more about it. Thor Ragnarok - August? ? - ? Gladiator battle set Five figures - Gladiator-armour Hulk, Thor (with helmet), Loki, Grandmaster and a guard 76088 - $69.99 Ship build Six Figures - Bruce Banner (About to change to Hulk), Thor (with helmet), Valkyrie, Hela and two henchmen ================== Missing anything?

Would only have a potential interest in the Marvel Brickheadz and by making Doctor Strange and Black Panther exclusive (plus doing the comic version of Doctor Strange rather than the movie-version) I'm not particularly interested in collecting these. We dont get the main four Avengers, instead Thor gets replaced by Black Widow whose Lego hair doesnt look right, has a Lego belt that just looks odd and a grey line around her thats included on the printed piece.

In terms of what we gain from these in the story. It seems like the intention was that they would remain in the main world for the first part of 2017, discovering the mask of Ultimate Power. Then the mask would somehow get to Makuta in the shadow realm, the Toa journeying into the realm to stop him. I'm unsure about potential constraction lines however; - The Witch Doctor styled Umarak may have actually led to the creation of Umarak given they started working on G2 from as early as 2012 and we dont have a precise timeline on when this art was made - In a similar sense the concept art for the beasts may have been done at the same times as the Hero Factory Invasion From Below sets - The Soul Grinder's design seems to have been recycled for the villains of the new wave of Ninjago, including a CCBS and System Mech - A few of the other designs are likely going to be re-used in the future also, for instance the upper leg pieces on the concept art of some of the sets appears to have been used on the CCBS Star Wars sets
-
Good concept art is NOT PROOF of how much they cared. I understand why you linked the two, however you can have a concept artist get hired, have them pour their soul into doing the thing they were hired for, only for someone higher up to ignore that simply because they are not invested. Great art doesnt automatically mean the company was invested in the product. Some of the concept art for the 2015 Fantastic Four reboot for example was amazing, yet the studio rushed that out to maintain the rights and it was clear they didnt care as long as the movie was made in time to maintain rights. Its not reality to go about stating that just because we saw some good artwork that Lego as a whole actually cared deeply about the product. Yes, they probably cared about Bionicle - but you cant judge that solely based on how good you feel concept art is.

Wondering if the UK is even getting the sets this month... They only list Ekimu, Lava Beast and Storm Beast on the website under 'coming soon' with no date attached.

If this is a legitimate DVD release then chances are that it will be split as you mentioned. 'Volume 1' including the first wave of episodes and the prequel. 'Volume 2' containing the second wave of episodes. This would make sense as Netflix has an exclusivity on the episodes that it has - so judging by this that exclusivity is 2-3 months. So we'd probably get 'Volume 2' just before Christmas (Late October, November?) in time for fans to catch-up before 2017. However, the 'series 1' title has been used on a lot of shows that were never intended to get a second season, so i would'nt say that its any form of confirmation of a second season.

Its because the video is unlisted, it doesnt show up in the recent upload or his videos. While its unlisted, only those with the link can see it. === Not sure if double posts are allowed, so adding it in here. Picked up the new Nexo Knights comic today in the UK. NO BIONICLE COMIC ADVERT *Can provide scans later this evening as proof This can mean many things, but the most likely is that the comic's release date for the rest of Europe is probably later than we originally thought. The new Ninjago catalogue is out on June 1st so will be getting that also, and checking to see if there is any Bionicle Comic advertisements.

Yeah, i'm impressed by the level of detail also. Hopefully clearer images arrive soon, but it looks like it has virtually everything i was hoping it would have. Lego really seem to have went into full blown 'Silver Centurion' levels of detail with Spider-man. -

^ Agreed This 'partially showing an official image' does not seem helpful to discussion at this stage. How are we as commentors on this topic meant to be able to know what the figure's details are if they can only be accurately seen in a different image that we are not privy to. Here we are trying to decipher a rough official image and guess what the details are - when there appears to be a much more detailed official image that's not being shown ._. I think they over-estimated its popularity and intended for every set to have one, then when people announced how much they disliked it - they started adding it to sets only when needed as an additional function. In this case, it seems the set would only have a single function otherwise (The exploding truck) and the Super Jumper piece is likely a way of claiming it to have more functions and playability. I guess it could be worse though, at least the exploding truck function does not appear to be connected to the super jumper. -

Spider-man looks good seems to have arm printing and dual molded legs. Vision seems to be his AoU version with fairly minor changes, which works alright as he didnt have any major changes between that and Civil War. Unsure if they fixed his head print or not. Hawkeye looks great other than his head, which i believe is the Captain America unmasked. Captain America again is a tad disappointing, though he does have a dark red shield in this - which is good In terms of remaining Civil War characters that we have Thunderbolt Ross, Everett Ross and Baron Zemo. Hopefully we get them at some stage... Overall though the tanker truck set looks rather disappointing, the figures are the remaining members of Team Cap and Team Iron Man (Other than the missing Ant-Man who will presumably be released with Ant-Man and the Wasp or Infinity War sets, if we get them. Though other than filling out the ranks, it doesnt really offer too much - even the playability seems a little lacking in the build with just an exploding feature on the truck (Turn the wheel, the fire moves up and knocks the roof off) It probably would'nt be a buy for me if it didnt include Spider-man with that level of detail and i guess this is because we likely wont see too many sets released for his solo movie next year, i'd expect a max of two or three (Though i think its more likely we'll just get one). Especially given Lego will probably be doing Guardians Of The Galaxy 2 sets also. -

I'd expect it'd be more along the lines of the 'Black Order', a group of lethal aliens (In this case could be villains) who serve Thanos. Unsure whether we have confirmation yet on which figures are in the fourth Civil War set, however, is it possible that if we were to get a figure of Zemo - perhaps he would be based on this concept art. Given that on occasions Lego figures are based on concepts rather than the final product, Spider-man could be in a similar situation? -
Marvel Superheroes 2016 Rumors And Discussion

Someone made this a while back as a MOD to Lego Marvel Superheroes, think other than the gauntlets it'll likely be the bare-minimum that Lego could do to make a good Civil War Spider-man figure. . Its not really worth it considering the scale of roughly how big everything should be. The Lego set primarily gives you the tower, but the tower is way too small compared to how large it would be in real life - it isnt to scale with the Lego Giant-Man figure either. Though it really depends what you desire in terms of how movie-accurate you want it to be and what pieces you want to be in scale. To expand the Airport the main aspects you'd need would be; - Tower - Plane - Hangar - Carpark - Boarding tunnels - Varying trucks and things You can see in the below image a Lego airport, that is roughly the scale you'd need to accurately portray the scene; Had'nt seen the bit described in the spoilers though that is possible. I think honestly it's difficult to speculate until we know the figures in the fourth Civil War set, by my count we have the following characters who could potentially see a SDCC release; - Everett Ross - Thunderbolt Ross - Spider-man - Hawkeye - Zemo - Vision They are the 6 remaining characters needed to re-enact pretty much all of the Civil War movie in Lego requiring just those introduced in this Civil War line. -

Wait... i thought the point of the no-spoiler rule was that we didnt discuss how elements of the movie are represnted in the sets until after a certain time on this site. Are we now allowed to, but in a different thread? =s -

Earliest release April 27th Latest release is May 6th Week after that would presumably be May 13th. It would be nearing 20 days after the release in over 15 countries simply so people could talk about the accuracy of the sets. I understand if it was specifically relating to the film but being unable to say whether a set is accurate to the film or not, which is really the only avenue of discussion until we get information on the Doctor Strange or fourth Civil War set, kind of puts this thread into forced hibernation. I guess we'd probably end up getting more of them if they prove to be popular, though mostly all the Summer sets were revealed so they probably would'nt have another wave till 2017 or something. -

Information on the first page remains lacking in detail when compared to the 'first description' of the Doctor Strange set or even some of the more recent comments from Just2Good which have'nt been added to the first page yet. So redirecting people to the first page probably wont be helpful unless the first page is updated more often and with the information thats being discussed. Yeah, i enquired about this also. It seems that for the UK the polybag is packaged inside the game and they dont have any copies of the polybag given to them outside of the game. At least that is the information i have been told when enquiring. Though it is possible that they do have copies available and simply are unwilling to distribute them through other means, forcing people to get the game to get the figure. -

If he has the 2016 Superheroes, i would'nt expect the fourth Civil War or Doctor Strange set to be in there as they likely contain spoilers and we'd have probably seen or heard of leaked pictures before an official image makes it way to the public. Maybe we'd get better images of the Spider-man cartoon-based sets. Would be nice to see a better quality picture of Scorpion - interested in how much printing he has. -
Marvel Superheroes 2016 Rumors And Discussion
Scarilian replied to Quicksilver's topic in LEGO Licensed
So when is the next possible day they could reveal information about the Doctor Strange and Fourth Civil War set? Anything coming up? I'm still expecting that the big-bad included in the Lego set is actually whatever tentacle being that we've heard is included - at least that sounds like the main threat of the film with the human villain being a secondary villain and a main villain that is presumably pulling the strings. Whoever this human villain is they've made a deal with a being like Dormammu/Mephisto and they are now a host body by the looks of things - and their motives will probably be to release Dormammu/Mephisto or whatever beast they control onto the world. Just a theory, but what if the reason we have'nt seen the fourth Civil War set is because of the suprise inclusion of 'The Wasp'? I mean, i know that design doesnt match what we saw as teased, but i believe they have teased figures they were making in games before and then released them shortly after. I could see them doing a Civil War version of Wasp with a costume similar to Ant-Man only to later give us a different costume for 'Ant-Man and the Wasp' Any chance of that being the reason? -
Marvel Superheroes 2016 Rumors And Discussion
Scarilian replied to Quicksilver's topic in LEGO Licensed
You'd probably be better trying to get the entire set from Ebay or something then - better to get Ant-Man, Hank Pym (Warped Ant-Man version) and Yellow Jacket along with a good set for around $30-$35 Issue with this is that i cant see us getting much arm or leg detail on Doctor Strange... maybe a dual molded left arm for Mordo... but not expecting much. Chances are they'll go the Lego Doctor Who 12th Doctor approach for Doctor Strange just with the Eye of Agamotto printed on and possibly a cape... Either of the below styles would probably fit for Doctor Strange (Image from LuxorV)
