It appears to be the piece used with Chima/Ultra Agents. We should hopefully see the back of the box art soon which may reveal whether it is - however for now it very likely is. Just to clarify so nobody misunderstands this - he means two Shocker's are confirmed to appear in the movie. That doesnt necessarily mean that we'll have two Shocker's running around at the same time. It's very likely a case where the version we are getting is based on the first version of Shocker played by Bokeem Woodbine. Likely chosen because he either fits the scene being displayed. Marshall-Green's Shocker will probably be the design that we saw on the display (the black/yellow suit with mask) and i expect that we could end up not getting that represented until potentially a Homecoming sequel or eventual Sinister Six film. If we do get any promotional figure/polybag/whatever - basing it around the older costume that Peter is forced to wear at one point in the movie would make more sense than giving us the updated Shocker.

Grey boxes would have been nice to see, think it's best if people save images that appear in future so takedown's dont cause issues like this. Ah, thanks - google'd the release date and only IMDB showed up at the time . Yeah... not sure why Lego did it. Just ends up meaning i and others probably will end up catching the movie online out of curiosity before it recieves the UK release. -
Well, even if we get a full costume with a mask, it might not have necessarily have been given to Lego to work from - as it may have been a late decision and they probably got concept art for this specific version we see in his fight with the old uniformed Spider-man. Which one's? Set images? Toy image of Shocker?

Did not need you to tell me to stop, i even mentioned that we should avoid speculation on the subject given its too early. No discussion past the remark was intended. I only posted my thoughts on the minimal amount of figures in reply to the idea that we knew nothing about the movie - because statements have confirmed the focus of the movie. I get why they did it, it's somewhat accurate to the version we see in the trailers and we're not even entirely sure we'll get either of the more comic-accurate looking Shocker's that we've seen via the toys or set photo's. It's just a shame because it's not a particularly interesting design and i was hoping that Shocker would make up for the problems with Vulture. This ^ Next we'll get a Black Panther set or something where they have no arm/leg print and just generic non-detailed torso's xD Not sure what's happening xD

Shall probably wait until Christmas sales for the Ninjago movie sets, as it seems that a considerable amount of them are going to be expensive. Lucky i dont collect the Star Wars theme so while i may end up getting a set or two if they are well designed or have cool pieces i should be able to save until Infinity War - as long as Lego does not bring out another Big Bang theme for 2018... I've only found IMDB to be stating this, but it'd suck if its true. I dont think many would wait that long and they would probably catch the movie via other methods in order to see it before spoilers/as soon as possible. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt3014284/releaseinfo -
Appears i'm a little late for the Shocker discussion. With all the secrecy i thought he'd be based on a possible later version of Shocker similar to the image posted by SpiderJazz above - instead he's based on arguably the incomplete and least interesting version of Shocker that we've seen. Only thing that really feels like Shocker is the arms, but the printing does not even look to be that good on them. It may be somewhat accurate to the movie scene, but would have preferred the inneviteable evolved costume of Shocker with his mask as he's not really iconic or interesting in his current form. ==== In regards to the Loki debate; Hopefully that clears things up. Arguably the minimal amount of figures needed for Infinity War would be the following. Everyone else has either had a release in an almost identical appearance to how they are set to appear in Infinity War and/or they'll be released close to Infinity War. We almost certainly wont get every Infinity War character for Infinity War - i expect Avengers 4 will provide a considerable amount of the missing figures. We actually do know quite a bit about Infinity War, though you are right we should probably chill on the speculation. Avengers (6 figures) Iron Man (New Suit) Captain America (Same as Civil War) Thor (Either new outfit OR repeat of his AoU outfit) Black Widow (Same as in Civil War) Hawkeye (Same as Civil War) Hulk (Same as in AoU) Guardians Of The Galaxy (6 figures) Star Lord (New Outfit) Gamora (New Outfit) Groot (Brickbuilt) Drax (Same as GOTG 2) Rocket (New Outfit) Nebula (Possibly the same as in GOTG 2) Villains; Unknown amount of Black Order Members (Including Corvus Glaive) Thanos (Big Fig)

Can people please stop saying its 'whining, complaining or moaning' to simply acknowledge the innacuracies? It's not even presenting a viewpoint on them, i dont even hate them or anything about them, it's just acknowledging that they exist? This did not happen when people pointed out the inaccuracies with the logo on the Spider-man Civil War costume, or how Rocket lacked a mouth, or Doctor Strange's Eye Of Agamotto, people just accepted it because it's just how it is. I'm not dismissing the idea that later in the film or in other media we may see Hela with the helmet covering the face or Loki with the Dark Blue, i'm just pointing out that at the moment we've not seen that so it appears inaccurate at the moment I think you could probably make your own - the Axe for example could probably be replicated similar to the design in the Nexo Knights Ultimate builds (think Axl's set had one that is compatible with Hulk hands). Though i would like to see a molded Hammer, i believe the movie one is partially based on an engine of some kind

I just said this, all you did was repeat and try and claim i'm moaning for saying the same thing you did just now. The image clearly proves you wrong - and rather than attempt to provide an image to support your remark you are now claiming my comparison and one of several official images is 'ridiculous and out of context' and dismissing what the image clearly shows. Pretty sure you must be trolling at this stage - so reported.

Dark Green. You can tell primarily by the shoulder pad and the piece of clothing behind his hand, given the rest is bathed in light. Others have also noticed that its the lighting giving the wrong impression of the outfit and i'm sure some are going to dismiss it now because it looks slightly blue with the blue light clearly on his left shoulder and the brightness making it difficult to see his chest- but the outfit is even the same one he wears with the daggers. It's not out of context in the slightest, it's comparing and demonstrating why people were not expecting to get a dark blue Loki. Why would anyone going into the Ragnarok theme expect to get a dark blue Loki. Loki's never worn dark blue before and via every source of media and behind-the-scenes information currently shown, he is not wearing it in Thor Ragnarok either. Find one and post it then. I 've posted tons of high quality images and spent time tracking down alternative images of the characters to clearly show the Helmet and Loki's outfit. I've demonstrated it's not dark blue, why is it so difficult to accept that? If we're lucky he may have a dark blue outfit in an unrevealed scene or something and maybe you perhaps saw behind-the-scenes shot of the outfit used for another scene, but it sure as heck is not the outfit he is wearing in the gladiator arena - that's 100% Dark Green. Then its inaccurate, that is the whole point. Its inaccurate. Its not a 'so what' situation. It's just people dont want to acknowledge that it's inaccurate so they keep dismissing it, yourself included are still unconvinced by the image's you see in the trailer which show its not accurate to what we've seen currently. Its not complaining to point out obvious facts. Though i admit it is annoying to have to keep repeating them because people dismiss them - all this started simply because it was pointed out that some aspects were inaccurate and some people could'nt accept that. Thats primarily what the current discussion boils down to. Showing people a ton of images/facts proving something is inaccurate only for them to turn around and claim its accurate regardless of the facts. As for alternative's Lego could have done, there are'nt any. All the decisions made regarding the helmet were likely based on concept art. Loki's colour scheme is either based on concept art or an unseen outfit he may have. This is not a question of what Lego could have done better, they did their best (well, to an extent, they could have introduced a new colour for Hulk but that would have been going above and beyond)

Plus there are missing sets, plus the recently mentioned €129.99 temple. I expect it's going to be a case where its unlikely many will have a complete collection. Especially considering this is wave 1 and they'll probably be more sets around Christmas. 70606 €9.99 70607 €19.99 70608 €34.99 70609 €34.99 70610 ? 70611 €44.99 70612 €54.99 70613 €69.99 70614 €69.99 70615 €79.99 70616 ? 70617 €109.99 Temple €129.99 70618 €169.99 City $300 USD Missing sets + €829.88 + $300USD -
Hela's Helmet in the movie does not cover her face. This is why the helmet covering her face is innacurate at the moment. If an image is found showing the helmet covering the upper face then we can consider it accurate to a specific scene. Many were hoping to get an updated version of the other version of Loki potentially with arm or leg printing. The look of Loki in Avengers, or in general just the green and gold appearance, is much more iconic. Green because of it often symbolising ambition, greed, jealousy. Gold shows power/royalty. It's been a stapple of the Marvel movies to continue this colour scheme and in Thor Ragnarok they do so with Dark Green. In regards to 'minor details' the issue people have with the figure is simply that it's not accurate and not particularly what people associate with Loki. It'd be similar to getting a dark red Captain America - it just would feel off seeing him wearing dark blue in the movie and getting a dark red figure. Dark Blue for Loki, as such does not really feel like Loki. I can see possibly using the torso for another combatant in the gladiator arena - but it just doesnt match the movie and it does not really feel like a costume for Loki. At best i can say its an 'ok' figure; - Inclusion of hair piece - Face is generic, but getting a scared second expression is nice i suppose - Torso print is good, but not accurate - Cape is nice, though not accurate - No arm/leg print - Helmet is nice, though may not be accurate to the Ragnarok version Would be a good figure if accurate colour scheme.

Scarilian replied to Peppermint_M's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Just want to double check something rumours i've heard about the film... @Sir von Lego, is the Red Ninja in the bridge set Kai? Just want to be sure of it. I expect Sir Von Lego just described two of the four missing information cheaper sets, Jay's vehicle and potentially a retailer exclusive temple given the list. Here's are the cheaper sets; 70606 GA - €9.99 70607 TT - €19.99 70608 SA - €34.99 70609 MP - €34.99 - One is a training area for the ninja - One of these has Wu - One of these is a bridge battle (4 figures) - Two of these are non-vehicle sets - One of these is presumably the Manta-Ray Plane from the trailers - One of these is presumably the Police vehicle market set (5 Figures) So judging from those i'd guess its likely that 70608 and 70609 are the vehicles, while the cheaper two are the bridge and the training area respectively. Though those are guesses. -
Facts; Its not nitpicking to want a movie-based set to be movie-based and it's against Lego's interest to not represent the characters as accurately as possible as it can have a negative effect on sales It's not nitpicking to acknowledge factual flaws in the representation and it's arguably silly to dismiss such remarks when the flaws are proven to exist. The flaws do exist, there are innacuracies, you can accept them if you want but that doesnt make them vanish There are reasons for the flaws, but that does not mean the flaws do not cause issues with accuracy or the figures in general. It's not nitpicking to have a varying opinion as to how much the flaws effect the enjoyment of the figures Just because i am acknowledging the flaws does not mean i'm saying that these are utterly terrible and should'nt be brought. Acknowledging the flaws is primarily what has gotten us a new version of Vision (with a fixed Mind Stone and face), Spider-man (with a fixed Spider insignia) and will hopefully get us updated more accurate versions of other figures. Facts; The helmet is very likely based on concept art, possibly the shot of Hela throwing the sword as the make-up does give the impression that it's more of a helmet rather than a crown - however we've yet to see it actually extend to cover her upper face. The helmet does not match the images we have currently seen of it in the movie because it does not cover the upper face. This may occur in a specific scene, but as of now it appears to be innacurate The helmet may be somewhat unintentionally accurate to one of the portrayals of Hela in the comics, however the horns are noticeably based on the movie and Hela's horns in the comics are varying designs so it may not be accurate Personally i agree the helmet is an amazing mold - primarily the horns as i was unsure if Lego would give us the helmet because of them. Each of the horns is represented and the shiloutte of the character is virtually the same. Except in terms of accuracy the covering of the upper face means it is not accurate unless we see the helmet cover the face at some point in the movie. Acknowledging the innacuracy now means that if Hela survives the movie and appears in Infinity War or Avengers 4 they may have enough time to change the helmet, giving us an accurate movie-verse helmet. Facts; The stadium outfit we see here is not blue, meaning the Lego version may be innacurate unless he has a different outfit somewhere else in the movie. Loki is also a result of them likely seeing a specific image and having to decide for themselves on the colour scheme. They were likely given images showing him in the stands watching the gladitorial match, possibly even in the exact same pose as the trailer. As someone has pointed out the outfit is actually the same, he is just wearing a different cape. The blue'ish tinge is caused by the reflection of the stadium in the glass. The outfit is clearly based on that shot due to the 'V' symbol on his waist. You can tell that the image they were given must not have been as clear as it lacks the shoulder-pad's from the design and presumably Loki's hand was obscuring the 'v' under the neck. The lack of a new helmet is also understandable, as they either did not see the clearer image of him twirling the swords OR realised it would be more cost-effective to re-use the same mold than have a dual-molded helmet with hair for what may or may not be only a couple of scenes. This is also understandable as you said, they likely recieved images very close to actual and decided to go with a lighter blue probably because they did not produce the right sort of blue'ish colour. Though you have not mentioned them here, the guards were also likely a decision similar to this - given they wear armour it was likely considered more cost effective to just print the torso and heads rather than produce unique armour for what may be only one or two figures - and at the time they may have simply gotten concept art of the guards. ======= In summary; Hela's innacuracies are likely based on concept art or unclear images Loki's innacuracies are likely based on a combination of unclear images and the decision not to produce a new helmet Hulk's innacuracies are likely based on the decision not to introduce a new colour or the difficulty/cost of creating a piece in a certain colour The Guard's innacuracies are likely based on a decision to avoid giving them unique armour and helmets All the flaws in the accuracy are understandable, it's up to you how you feel about them, but that's the whole point of the previous discussion - acknowledging that these flaws do exist rather than trying to say that the flaws do not exist or simply that it's perfectly fine because they may work for other characters or variants. If you want to make use of the flaws for a comic-based version of a figure, then that's up to you - but it still means that the representation we got has flaws that prevent it being movie-accurate which is the whole idea of movie figures.

Never mentioned it was confirmed. Reasoning in spoiler tags; By that logic you'd be happy with this version of Thanos for the Infinity War sets because 'who cares if its not movie accurate when its closer to the comics?' If i buy a Lego set based on the movie, then i want it to be the movie-version. It should be based on the movie and the only reason it is not is either due to them working off concept art which no longer applies OR simply deciding it better to do the comic version. Either way, it does not match the movie and the torso print does not match any of the comics - so we are left with a Hela which matches nothing. It never covers her face from what i can see in the trailers.

Will probably be that ship or another Asgardian vessel. The others seem more specified to the servants of the Grandmaster. Given the bigger set includes Hela its more likely based on one of the final battle scenes, probably either with that circular ship - possibly travelling through the portal to confront her. I'm interested to see how they include the Orange Soul Stone, originally i thought Heimdall had it or perhaps Thor's hammer - but have not seen it yet (Unless it was in Heimdall's armour or is Heimdall given his eyes...

So far looks like the only character from the line-up they got right was Thor and potentially Hulk depending on what happens with the shoulder pad. Hela's helmet covers her face in the Lego form - while in the movie the helmet does not cover her face Loki's got a bizarre colour swap with a costume more similar to Ayesha in Lego - while in the movie he has a dark green outfit with a dark green and yellow cape or a dark green cape his helmet is also different, allowing his hair to go behind The Grandmaster was not as vibrant or detailed as the movie version The guard's needed helmets and armour to match the movie version Unfortunately yeah, she does not have it covering her face. I think it may be possible to modify the helmet by removing the front and smoothing it to where the stud is at the top of the head. Personally expecting it to be more like the 'Harry and the Hungarian Horntail' set. Just replace the Dragon with Hulk, Harry with Thor, Dumbledore and Mad-eye Moody with Grandmaster and Loki. Potentially get rid of the catapult and it's base and you'd have a fairly adequate arena set just focusing around the essentials - maybe even keep the mechanism to flip the stands over.

So with the reveal of Garmadon's Hammerhead Shark Mech... i'm hoping that the final battle ends up combining the Ninja's mechs (think Power Rangers) - either way, might try MOC'ing a combiner for the Ninja vehicles. Tuc-Tuc? Yeah, 70618 being the Destiny's Bounty and 70620 being a potential Ninjago City seems to make sense. I guess if we do get Cole's Mech it'll probably be released after the intitial waves. I expect we will get his vehicle though - just not at the moment. I suppose its always possible that the $300 USD set might even include Cole's Vehicle along with a Ninjago City layout. -

Decided to give the list another update. *Blue's are believed to be retail exclusives/D2C's *Red's have images and all details listed for them are confirmed. 70606 GA - €9.99 (Believed to be the small non-vehicle playset) 70607 TT - €19.99 (Believed to be the Ninja Training area) 70608 SA - €34.99 70609 MP - €34.99 (Believed to be the Manta Ray plane from the trailers) 70610 JS (Believed to be retail exclusive Garmadon Shark Mech - Shark Mech was confirmed by Just2good as being a retailer exclusive) 70611 SC - €44.99 70612 Green Ninja Mech Dragon (Lloyd's Dragon) - €54.99, 544 pieces, at least three figures (Lloyd, Sensei Wu and Garmadon + additional figures?) 70613 NW - €69.99 (Believed to be Nya's Vehicle) 70614 JJ - €69.99 (Believed to be Jay's Vehicle) 70615 (Kai's Mech) - €79.99, 6 minfigures (Kai, Zane, Male citizen, female citizen, shark suit villain, jellyfish bowl villain) 70616 ZT (Believed to be Zane's vehicle) 70617 BS - €109.99 (Believed to be Garmadon's Hammerhead shark mech - Sir Von Lego confirmed that the Hammerhead shark mech would be a set) 70618 ?? - €169.99 (Sir Von Lego claimed this set to be the Destiny's Bounty) 70620 - $300 USD (Kevii23 claimed this set (the D2C) to be the Destiny's Bounty, though rumours believe this to be the Ninjago City) Juniors Ninjago Movie set (Confirmed by Just2good) 71019 CMF Ninjago Movie Polybags Seems we have a bit of a contradiction on whether the Destiny's Bounty is the $300 USD D2C set or the €169.99 normal release set. I think its more likely that the €169.99 will be the Destiny's Bounty while the $300 USD will be the rumoured Ninjago City. Other than that, everything seems to be lining up now. if Cole's Mech is not a retailer exclusive then it would have to be '70611 SC' in order to be somewhat in-scale with the other sets. Otherwise it's not in this wave. -

I think its best we clarify some things, otherwise its going to get confusing. Shark Mech; This is Garmadon's Shark Mech, it was confirmed as being a retailer exclusive. Garmadon's (?) Hammerhead Shark Mech This is presumably a Mech that Garmadon would use during later parts of the film. It has not been confirmed as appearing in the movie yet, however it appeared in the sticker book. Presumably after he is stopped by the Ninja's and discovers that Lloyd his son is a Ninja, he would use this mech. We have no clarification on whether we are getting a set of this and it'd arguably be difficult to scale down too much given the staff and the overall details on the mech. It would likely be as expensive or more expensive than Kai's mech if it were to get a set - meaning that '70617 BS - €109.99' or '70618 ?? - €169.99' are the only real options if we get it this wave. Given it fires sharks via a machine-gun style weapon... i really doubt we'll get this as a set without some considerable changes to the design. -

Shall see about the Lego guns, primarily my only issue with them is simply the points that connect them to the Lego cannon base - which makes it difficult to replicate the towers of the Silent Mary. As for the lower decks, i'll probably only have one of the decks be tall enough for them to stand, in order to replicate the Salazar Vs Jack scene we've saw in the trailers. Ended up getting a second Silent Mary recently, and the parts from both will be combined to see whether i can fill in the gaps in the current Lego version. Would have to make it quite a bit bigger to add additional layers of cannons and things. Looks pretty cool :) Best i can find is this, unsure the source. -
Ended up getting lucky on Ebay the other day and if all goes well i should have a second Silent Mary by the end of the month - so will have enough parts to combine them into one ship which should be getting close to complete. Will share pictures if its reasonably close to a completed ship.

Lloyd's dragon - 70612, we knew this already and have seen the side of the box Garmadon's shark mech - confirmed as a retailer exclusive previously Kai's Mech - 70615, we knew this already and have recently seen images of the box art So effectively the only two listed here we were unaware of is the 'white car' and 'sand blue fish thing' neither have enough detail to verify what they are - so its not particularly helpful; The only white car seen in the trailers was a police vehicle The only sand blue fish thing in the trailers was the previously confirmed manta ray flying vehicle So need confirmation on what these are supposed to be? -

I think the best option might be Bricklink, not really sure. May try a bit more as was hoping to get more of those triangular styled pieces - primarily to make into a Lego ball or some sort of display for figures or something.
