  1. Regarding 'Surprise Villain' talk Regarding the 'leaked fake set' Websites intentionally will post misleading content in order to get views - its known as clickbait. Chances are the people posting these know it is fake as much as we do but intentionally posted it because people will click the link to check out the content. At that stage it does not matter if it's fake or not to them, you have given them a view and thus generated revenue for them. Regarding stuff to discuss Do not worry, we may be getting more Avengers Endgame footage with the Superbowl.
  2. Can definitely see that being Jafar based on the 2019 version.
  3. If i had to guess; Female face with freckles and purple lips = Anna from Frozen Male tanned face with Moustache & Beard = Jafar from Aladdin Female tanned face with smug and eyebrows raised = Jasmin from Aladdin Disney is known to have a D2C set in 2019 - and the level of detail and design fits fairly well with those characters, all of which would also tie-in with the new Aladdin Movie and Frozen 2 later this year.
  4. As far as i can tell the only variant Outfit she had is the Ravager one - so if we were going to get a variant we'd probably end up with that - which would probably be Gamora's Ravager outfit with grey where the green is.
  5. Below is a concept art adapted toy of the Mark 46 - in terms of design it is the closest to the concept art for the Mark 85 suit - though the arc reactor is the circular one as opposed to the triangular one. It definitely needed arm printing or something, even more so than the Mark 5 as this one is a direct split between gold and red. Dual molded arms would have been perfect... maybe in the distant future we'll get another figure with them so we can give them to the Mark 85
  6. Torso and leg print is good, cannot remark on accuracy though - arms needed printing i feel. Especially given this has potential to be the main suit of the movie. In addition, i'm struggling to find a replacement for the arms. A C3P0 polybag was released a while ago with a printed golden arm that would be perfect - but we never got the other arm in gold with the printing.
  7. @SpiderJazz Which were the official QRS suits again? Hence why we were told about the countdowns :P
  8. Feb 16th - Feb 19th. We could see some form of reveal there but i doubt it as they would probably desire to promote the new theme instead and Harry Potter might take the focus away
  9. Given the Team/QRS outfit leaks and the rumored '9?' polybags perhaps they will reveal those at NYTF instead given the concept art showing the Team/QRS suits appeared ages ago so it would not be considered much of a spoiler.
  10. Anyone have a good method of storing the Iron Man figures for display, thinking of a 'Hall of Armor' style display, but need to come up with a good pod design that could be replicated for each of the Iron Man suits? In regards to the reasoning the movie does have; It's unclear if the set is representing that or simply a selection of figures. It is also possible, knowing Tony Stark, that he salvaged the destroyed armor pieces to rebuild them for display purposes.
  11. In regards to printing - can understand both sides. The figure is detailed enough to feel like it is complete however as a result of the detail and of the mindset that a completed figure includes arm printing also, it feels a bit unfinished. Arm printing would have made them the 'perfect' versions of these suits and elevated them from 'great' to 'amazing'. Going from detail to non-detail is always tricky on a figure and for some the arms may feel lacklustre as a result. Personally i am probably going to use arms from Silver Centurion for the Mark 5 and hope for a black/gold dual molded arm in the future for the Mark 41. *In game both the Mark 5 and the Mark 1 had arm printing, so they definitely had inspiration for the designs they could have used. I'd hope for the Mark 2 and Tony Stark wearing the Mark 3 or Mark 4 suit, however i am expecting Tony Stark (Upgrade to Malibu Mansion version with different hair and leg printing) and Bruce Banner.
  12. Mk5 would work fine with the Silver Centurion arms - the polybag is expensive but it would work from the front. Alternatively Deadshots arms from the Gotham City Cycle Chase might work (Depending on the shade)
  13. https://www.pottermore.com/features/25-standout-harry-potter-moments Remember that the first two movies were the foundation that latched on a whole generation of people who have never read the books - while people may view the other films as having better quality the amount of memorable lines, potentially due to nostalgia, is fairly limited to the first three films and a few trailer lines from later films. True, though other aspects of the Hogwarts Castle set have gained representing in larger sets.
  14. We are not judging the quality of the movies - we are judging from set potential of things that could sell well and should be adapted. In terms of iconic aspects, the top 7 memorable moments as decided by Pottermore (the official site for Wizarding World/Harry Potter) are all from the first two films. Three-headed Dog, Devil's Snare, Wizards Chess. Gilderoy Lockhart's classroom/book signing, Chamber of Secrets Each of these could have been adapted into a Lego set but were skipped and are exclusive to this film they are introduced in. Why does the Chamber need to be underneath anything? It could be entirely seperate like the Quidditch Match. Alternatively if something does need to be above it, then they could just make the Girls Bathroom with opening sink entrance with a slide to the Chamber OR simply a corridor with the 'Chamber Of Secrets' message on the wall and Mrs Norris. Even something like Guyon2002 has now suggested could work - as a minifigure scale Hogwarts needs layers rather than just having everything be the same height by having the Chamber underneath everything.
  15. That was not the context of what they said. The idea originally was to have the Great Hall and Chamber Of Secrets released as a single set. That is what they claimed 'didnt work out' likely because of the budget issues for adding an entire below segment for the Great Hall set. They have not ruled out the possibility of the Chamber Of Secrets getting a set and the inclusion of the Basilisk model was likely to add more playability without having to make a new mold for a 'Troll' figure that should have been included given it was adapting the first movie. They have skipped many iconic aspects of the first two films in order to rush into the third film which is seemingly getting a single wave so they can rush into adapting the fourth film - of which they may be condensing the Tri-Wizard tasks down to a single set. The list itself is not good and your remark that it is childish to simply expect them to adapt in chronological order as they stated the intention was is silly. The list goes against the idea of doing a sort of 'best of' the Harry Potter years. You just got drawn in by the titles without knowing anything else about the list and are hyping it up as if its a great list when in reality they are rushing to adapt aspects that should have been given more focus. We are only on Wave 2 and if the list is to be believed they will be starting adapting content from the fourth film already.
  16. Mark 1 looks amazing, was concerned about the helmet, but it appears to work from the angle we have of it. The lack of arm printing is entirely understandable here as unless they went 'Silver Centurion' levels of detail they wouldnt be able to do the detail on the arms. In regards to arm printing, using a spare copy of the Silver Centurion arms would work for the Mark 5 as long as the figure is viewed from the front. The sides of the Silver Centurion have a bit too much red to be a perfect replacement, but the Silver/Red dual molding would work great if the figure is being displayed. I'd prefer to get the original five armours in this set as opposed to more of the Iron Man 3 armour set - given the rest of the armours have potential to be released later down the line in other sets based around the comics - such as how the 'Deep Sea' or 'Space' suit were treated. I could easily see suits like 'XXVII: Disco' or 'XXX: Blue Steel' getting such a treatment.
  17. Iron Man Armour Room is $60 and 524 pieces Current figures reported; Mk1, Mk5, Mk41 I do not mind missing some of the armours, as the Iron Man 3 armours can be released later down the line in other sets - however, i definitely feel the Mk2, Mk3 and Mk4 also need to be included in the Hall Of Armours set. To have the set contain the first five armours, all of which are not represented in suit form yet, would be a massive selling point. MK2 is just silver with minimal detailing, should be easy to replicate MK3 & 4 could be the same design, just with a slightly different shading (Given the minor differences) I'm not sure about anyone else, but i think they could easily have a $60 set with a re-used Tony Stark accompanied with six of the Iron Man suits (MK1-5 & 41) - at least that is what i am hoping we get Maybe i am being optimistic, but 76038: Attack on Avengers Tower included Five Figures for $60 while having a similar piece count - so it could happen? We have already had the Mark 42 in set form, so i expect you mean the Mark 41?
  18. Eh... Stranger things have happened;
  19. Hope it is fake... No chamber of secrets? No Gilderoy Lockhart? No Tom Riddle? No alternative to the brick-built Phoenix and Basilisk other than the old variants? Personally would expect the Hungarian Horntail to be the same size/design as '70666 The Golden Dragon'
  20. The polybag scenario sounds a little unbelievable to be honest - nine polybags, how would they even begin to distribute those? Let alone the fact it would mean we have seen only Thanos, Hulk and the Chitauri head from the sets. Would clear the sets for more variants though which would be good.
  21. Fingers crossed one of these is Rocket with printed arms :P
  22. According to this site, it has a May 1st release date; "1,826 pieces, $149.99 USD, Available May 1, 2019" They also describe the interior; "dual microfigure cockpit, detailed microscale interior with various rooms and compartments, opening doors and lift-off roofs for easy play, handle" According to Gizmodo, which i wont link due to obtrusive and misleading adverts/pop-ups, the interior includes; "There are micro-scale areas on the inside of the ship, too, including the bridge, cargo bay, and a skate park"
  23. The official set is not wearable, though you can hold it via a lever at the end. In regards to turning it into an Infinity Gauntlet, had a similar idea. The issue would lie in certain pieces not being produced in gold or golden colours (Pearl Gold?). You could definitely attempt to do so though.
  24. Exterior of the ship looks alright Random light blue segments? The mini builds are too large though and not remotely in-scale Engine segments seem fragile, only attached via a technic pin Figure selection sucks, the five micro Raptors sort of makes up for it a bit, but you can get those cheap via Bricklink Lack of microfigures for the rest of the cast makes collecting an Emmett and Rex microfig kind of pointless Set itself is for ages 10+ while the ship designates itself as being a 16+ set (In universe) via a sticker so the implication is that this should have been a much larger set similar to the Star Wars UCS sets. Would have preferred if they scrapped 70835 and used the budget to improve the Rexcelsior, either making it slightly larger or at least providing us with a full cast of microfigures. Main concern is the structual support, especially given you are meant to hold the entire thing from the back lever. They are not actually wearing it, they are holding it via the lever that we see being used as a stand in one of the pictures while supporting the rest of the weight using the right arm/hand. The picture is misleading but you can see the users knuckle of the pinky finger at the very bottom back of the ship. I think Lego should re-release this set with a bunch of microfigure Avengers, a larger focus on display and removing the shooting function while recolouring the set gold - giving us an Infinity Gauntlet
