  1. I have found three retail sites (1, 2, 3) that list 76187 (Carnage Head Bust). Two of them mention the release date as '2021-04'. It is possible that they are simply outdated, but could mean we get the Head/Bust in April still - keeping the list as May for the moment until we get more info. We got the Helicarrier three years after Avengers 1 and we got the Hulkbuster three years after Avengers 2. It makes sense we'd get something three years after Avengers 3 and if we are insanely lucky we might get a D2C next year as that would be three years after Avengers 4 (Which would also be the 10th anniversary of the Lego Marvel MCU theme) Personally I'm leaning towards: 76188: $29.99, mentioned once by FalconFan1414. I think this could be a WandaVision Disney+ set. The comments by CM4Sci imply we are getting a version of Wanda based around WandaVision which will feature a new costume with a head piece and generally implied that it would be from WandaVision. 76194: $34.99, releasing in August and the only currently confirmed Disney+ themed set. I think this could be a Loki Disney+ set. Loki will have finished airing about half a month prior to release of this set. I can see Falcon & Zemo (with his mask) being popular enough to bundle into the CMF series. As far as I can tell Bucky retains his outfit from Avengers Endgame, only with the eventual addition of a white star on his arm for TF&TWS (If they stick to the concept art) so if we get Endgame or generally Avengers MCU Legacy sets this year we could get Bucky via those instead. We don't really know if the series will have enough to justify a set. Admittedly it's also possible they have a Disney+ set that we simply are not aware of.
  2. @Stock223 Sorry to disappoint, but the only sets we are aware of in March at the moment are 76170 and 76175, both of which are already revealed: 76170: Iron Man Vs Thanos $19.99/9.99€ (103 pieces) 76175: Attack on the Spider Lair $69.99/79.99€ (466 pieces) A list of all Lego Marvel stuff we are aware of for this year can be found here. While we might get a surprise Disney+ set for WandaVision in March, it really would wind up being a surprise. Though we CM4Sci's comments towards a set including Wanda in a costume she is believed to get near the end of the Disney+ series, so chances are we are getting some form of WandaVision Lego thing - but they are waiting till after the series reveals it or ends to reveal it. So I'd say check back in on March 8th after WandaVision is over and we've had a "Marvel Must Haves" maybe we will have something by then It could potentially be 76188: $29.99, which was mentioned by Falcon in the past - but we don't have a release date for that (If it's definitely not a typo anyway)
  3. @PGBQW To be fair, it would be like Marvel to tease us with a fake title then reveal later on that they were secretly teasing the multiverse aspects all along I think we may have other Disney+ stuff, we just don't know about them yet. Remember CM4Sci teased Wanda getting a figure and seemed to imply it'd be based on later episodes of WandaVision (New costume) May does seem a little empty at the moment - but otherwise we have something to keep us talking almost every week until August February 26th - WandaVision 8 March - Release of 76170 & 76175 March 5th - WandaVision 9 March 19th - TF&TWS 1 March 26th - TF&TWS 2 April - Release of Shang Chi sets (76176 & 76177) along with 30454 Polybag April 2nd - TF&TWS 3 April 9th - TF&TWS 4 April 17th - TF&TWS 5 April 23rd - TF&TWS 6 May - Release of 76187 (Carnage Head/Bust) May 7th - Black Widow June - Release of 76186, 76189, 76190, 76191, 76192 & 76193 June 11th - Loki 1 June 18th - Loki 2 June 25th - Loki 3 + Venom: Let There Be Carnage July 2nd - Loki 4 July 9th - Loki 5 + Shang Chi July 16th - Loki 6 August - Release of 76194 (Disney+ set) 76200 & Marvel CMF series
  4. We could get something in an hour if source is to be believed. I'm still leaning to Norman being in the MCU to set-up Dark Avengers but Green Goblin being held off for future films.
  5. I think Disney are waiting to lock in the release date of Shang Chi. At the moment its theorised Disney is waiting on the popularity of the cinema & Disney+ airing of Raya in order to determine if they are going to release Black Widow or delay it yet again - they have till roughly mid march to decide if they want to keep the release of May 7th 2021. If it gets delayed it could take Shang Chi's current release date with Shang Chi being pushed back further. I also think Disney want to avoid overshadowing Black Widow - while Sony's marketing team don't really mind about overshadowing the Disney movies. @THELEGOBATMAN Yeah, he's teasing something being revealed on twitter and apparently his patreon implies a trailer at 9am EST.
  6. Some have theorised that it is subtle hints to the different Spider-man: Slice = Tobey Maguire because of Pizza Time (Link) Phone = Andrew Garfield because he is on the phone a bit (Link), (Link) Wrecker = Tom Holland (His actions resulted in May and Happy talking about the relationship/splitting up) Admittedly the connections are tenuous and might simply be happenstance. The colours of the title also match the credits of WandaVision Three titles, three Spider-man? I would not be surprised if we get a title reveal soon - as they are teasing interest in the film, released some official images and are currently joking about the title. They'll probably also reveal an official image showing Peter with Doctor Strange as the casual audience member might not even know he is in the film yet. Would not expect something massive, probably a title such as 'Spider-man: Homeworld' and save the multiverse stuff for the teaser and first trailer which would drop with Shang Chi. Personally would lean towards us getting something Friday or later, as that would allow for WandaVision 8 to air and give us more hints presumably to how the multiverse aspect will be handled. Remember this film and Doctor Strange 2 tie-in to WandaVision somehow, so perhaps an announcement such as " 'X' will return in Spider-man..." at the end of WandaVision Episode 9 OR even a teaser depending on how interconnected it could be. Holland has also jokingly been remarking on WandaVision, so they want to draw a connection between the new Spider-man movie and WandaVision.
  7. Loki was based on the Marvel's Avengers Game as far as I can tell he was meant to be included in the game, but cut and added into a potential DLC that may or may not be scrapped. Red Skull is actually a Comic Book redesign also Nick Fury is a repeated figure from the Far From Home sets, admittedly MCU though so you have a point with that The Mark 2 armor is generally movie inspired as far as I can tell I just think it's unlikely they would release an MCU inspired Korg in a non-MCU set Falcon has stated not to get hopes up for it being based on X-Men or Fantastic Four - but X-Mansion would be neat further down the line whether comic inspired or potentially movie inspired.
  8. The 'Well' added doubt, not to the quality of the set, but the set's nature as being a MCU set or not. Expectations were arguably lowered earlier in the thread, with most expecting Avengers Tower (Myself included) and only getting hyped due to the appearance of Korg's head piece and the later Black Panther teaser which sent us into speculation about Black Panther, Thor Ragnarok, Infinity War and Endgame. The reason why people's expectations were set on an MCU set was due to it being more likely from all angles of consideration. It is that aspect of being a potential non-MCU set people are using to judge it, because some simply are not interested in non-MCU sets at all, especially non-MCU $300 sets. We could get a really amazing non-MCU set and honestly, it'd still be something most people here would pass on as they are focused on the MCU and I don't particularly blame them as I'm sure they have individual reasons. Personally I find Lego's comic sets vary so often in tones, styles, etc... that you'd have difficulty expanding a singular particular itteration and you have no confirmation they will return to that specific comic inspired version of the characters to give you the character you wanted. Hype cannot come without expectations. To lower the expectations would be to abandon a lot of what makes people speculate over the sets in the first place. To acknowledge the concept of them being potential non-MCU sets opens the doors to speculation, but lowers hype for many here due to personal preference. Set's quality is not as much of a factor here, given we have no set description, meaning nothing to determine how well the set is made and we likely won't have that information for another month or so (If it releases in April or May)
  9. An accurate depiction of anyone finding the thread right now Honestly, scenarios like this are kinda common with the Marvel thread - and this one is honestly fairly tame revolving around the D2C only. Nobody is angry, just confused as to why it is potentially non-MCU when almost any MCU set would sell like hotcakes. Either way it's one set out of an absolute ton of sets which is a rare occurance for Marvel which normally felt shunned. At the very least the theme is getting more focus this time around and if they are adapting a non-MCU set then it demonstrates they have more faith in Marvel Lego sets now and are willing to take more risks (as long as the D2C sells) Those who are avoiding non-MCU sets may skip the set, but at the same time they may be convinced when we eventually see image leaks or wind up getting more information. For those who only want MCU based sets, maybe we'll be lucky and the summer wave will be a legacy wave of MCU sets so the $300 they saved can be put towards the entire Summer Wave, Shang Chi, Eternals, Spider-man 3 and Disney+ set/sets along with the Advent Calendar and CMF series which all have a chance of encorporating the MCU.
  10. Generally it's just unlikely they would take the MCU head design and colour scheme and use it for a comic portrayal of the character. It's worth noting the comics depicted Korg as below, so its likely not from the comics Don't ask about the Xenomorph, I have no idea either... :L
  11. Spider-man PS4, Spider-verse, Venom: They have popularity but none of them really would warrant spending three years to make a $300 D2C and none of them really offer a potential location or aspect that would be the basis, let alone potential licensing aspects. Most the TV series from around that time were short lived or ending so things like Avengers Assemble or Marvel Future Avengers and Spider-Man (2017 TV series) would not really make sense to adapt into a D2C to be released in 2021. While most the Marvel Animated Features are simply too obscure for a D2C focus. Big Hero 6 would'nt really work either, cannot imagine them making a $300 set to appeal to the younger audience it was targetted at - though admittedly would be amazing to get a set based on that at some stage. Same goes for Marvel Superhero Adventures which is targetted at an even younger demographic. The Boys would not be touched by Lego for the more obvious reasons of being too adult focused. Other than that you are really left primarily with the comics... but then you still need something iconic enough to be the D2C. So I'm back to expecting a D2C Avengers Tower... only this time based on the comics, probably throwing in the Avengers in classic outfits or something. I'm still curious about it, but interest has dropped quite a bit if it winds up a non-MCU set, that said reserving judgement till we see the finished set. I suppose it allows for saving towards what could be a Legacy MCU wave in June though.
  12. We are not really short of figures that could be adapted for any potential D2C - but the issue lies in adapting a potential set that would be marketable or sell. To be fair, they claimed it as 'decent stuff' As far as I can tell we have not really had a black suit with black underneath before, it'd be something. See the John Wick custom in the tag to get a feel for it: After all this... it's not MCU? D: Can we please get another clue. I guess Korg is from one of the other sets after all - so Legacy sets confirmed? :p Edit: Have updated the list, but to summarise for those wanting to speculate. Current info for the $300 D2C: It is not the Statesman Don’t get your hopes up for X-men or fantastic four for the d2c The D2C may not be based on the MCU
  13. Someone has taken photo's of the hot toys Spider-man figures from through the years to give us a hint towards how the three Spider-man might look on-screen together. Images spoilered for space, they are unofficial and not from the film :) I am mostly leaning towards the potential for SM3 to feature as a finale to the MCU Spider-man trilogy, even if we are getting more films it makes sense to wrap up plot points from previous movies and it'd help show how Peter has grown by having him face his former foes again. The set-up of Scorpion & Vulture putting together a team should honestly be paid off in this movie - unless that was set-up for a Sony Sinister Six movie (Vulture's appearance in Morbius hints towards the MCU & Sonyverse potentially sharing a Sinister Six) If we do get a Sinister Six in SM3, it would be primarily pre-developed characters along with Doctor Octopus and Electro. The other four members would likely be Vulture, Mysterio (or Prowler), Shocker and Scorpion. In regards to the first, we have Vulture, Mysterio, Shocker and Scorpion developed (with Prowler if they want to keep Mysterio 'dead'). With Doctor Octopus and Electro being re-introduced. Granted it does not have to happen, but all the pieces are in play for it to happen and some versions of the Sinister Six have been 'multiversal'. In regards to the second, Falcon has in the past mentioned that the list of sets we have may not be complete. Personally I would not be surprised if a film such as Spider-man 3 would have additional sets, a minifigure pack or some method of releasing additional figures. Even so, 7 figures would be enough for the 3 different Spider-man, Doctor Octopus, Electro, Doctor Strange and Michelle 'MJ' Jones. As a sidenote, Far From Home does imply a lot more threats can come after Peter or Spider-man directly now his identity is revealed. It would make the most sense as such for a lot of villains to just show up and go after him immediately, an easy excuse for a Sinister Six.
  14. Yeah, the sets are definitely the main appeal of a potential multiverse aspect for me. I'm somewhat hesitant about how they will handle it in the MCU as a whole. Like others, I am not a fan of the idea of Time Travel or Multiverse being used to re-introduce deceased characters, but any chance at potentially updated figures for the Raimi or Webb series is fine with me - and it gives the potential for a live action Sinister Six comprised of actors & character I would like to collect as a squad
  15. Maybe we should speculate based off Episode 8 and then Episode 9 will hopefully be followed shortly after by a set reveal (If we are getting one). Episode 7 did not really offer too much A multiverse aspect feels like a given at this point, after all we have heard. Admittedly it is unclear how much of the story would feature the multiverse if it does, I've seen some early remarks refer to it as a 'It's a Wonderful Life' but for Spider-man - so perhaps the multiverse aspects are only cameos or third act aspects with the potential to focus on them more in the potential Spider-man 4.
  16. This list is outdated, please refer to the new list here. All info below is spoiler tagged for a record of when the information was released/relayed. ___________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ I will note now that one of the placeholders did state the number 762.., at the time dismissed it as potentially being an error given we had no confirmed 762.. set. Promobricks lists it as an August 2021 release date. Link
  17. It's effectively akin to a logo at the top with the same font as Avengers Endgame and a confidential watermark beneath, no image of the set or the boxes given it is in thumbnail format so we don't see the full image. Honestly you are not missing much, it's nothing to really go off and we can't link it here. Just generally hints that one or more of the June Avengers sets will be 'Avengers Endgame' themed in some form, but admittedly that could be a placeholder so it might mean nothing at all You can try the usual circles such as 'legoleaks' hashtag on Instagram, but it's not really showing anything so nobody's really bothering to share that around as opposed to Harry Potter or Ninjago images.
  18. Sadly no D2C on the 17th, we could still get a teaser this month, but if we do not, here are dates to be aware of for early March regarding potential MCU Lego reveals/teasers End of February/March 1st: Reveal of the Lego March 2021 Calendar March 5th: End of WandaVision March 8th: Marvel's Must Haves @benderisgreat "D2C Endgame confirmed?" None of the leakers or information we have currently are specific in referring to the $300 D2C. We could possibly attribute Korg or Black Panther to that, but we don't really have the information to confirm if it is based on Ragnarok, Black Panther, Infinity War, Endgame OR something else from the MCU at this time. @thephantasm @spiderfan2000 "76186: $39.99 (202 Pieces) Avengers Theme" Personally, with the reveal of Korg and the potential teaser of it being one of OR the sole Avengers Endgame set (If the 'A' is not a placeholder), I would not be too surprised if it was some adaptation of when Hulk & Rocket met Thor & Korg (Along with Meik) in Endgame. This would give us a chance at an accurate Endgame look for Rocket, a bearded/long haired Thor, Korg and potentially a more accurate Hulk. Could easily just have the setting be a random fishing hut, but they could take some liberties with the design of the set itself. It'd mostly serve as a way to give us figures we are missing from Avengers Endgame. Admittedly nothing confirms that it'll be an Endgame set, but the inclusion of a bigfig would explain the price/piece difference.
  19. The placeholder for the Lego Marvel Superhero sets reveals the set number as '7618...' The placeholder uses the 'Avengers Endgame' logo This means it is not for the D2C which is set '76178' The only potential Avengers '7618...' sets being released around this time are: 76186: $39.99 (202 Pieces) Avengers Theme 76188: $29.99? 76189: $9.99 (49 pieces) (4+) Avengers Theme The Black Panther/T'Challa poster is from promotion for Avengers Infinity War and both Infinity War & Endgame were tagged in the post by lego_fulcrum, so it may not necessarily be based on Endgame - whatever it's about. It's also unclear if it is about the D2C, though many have speculated so. In terms of figures: T'Challa/Black Panther is implied to be in a set thanks to lego_fulcrum - The main media he has been in is: Civil War, Black Panther, Infinity War and Endgame Korg is confirmed for a set via leaks - The main media he has been in is: Thor Ragnarok and Endgame Wanda/Scarlet Witch is implied to be in a set in a new costume thanks to CM4Sci - This means the only option is WandaVision or beyond, most likely a WandaVision set
  20. It's possible Wakanda was a large part of 2018 with both the Black Panther movie and being the location for the final battle of Avengers Infinity War so I can see them adapting that somehow. The only problem would be what Wakanda building/buildings would you adapt for a $300 Infinity War set? The only re-occuring Wakanda building in that is the PS5 building, would be hilarious if we get that
  21. Lego_Fulcrum has posted "You know what this means." with an image of T'Challa from Avengers: Infinity War. As far as I'm concerned, it's just preliminary.
  22. Endgame has quite a few missing figures, but I don't feel it has enough locations to warrant a lot of sets. I think a 'Legacy wave' would make more sense with an Endgame set or sets included amongst it. Would also let Lego revisit older films such as pre-Avengers, Thor 2 or Cap 2.
  23. I think the best comparison would be 76125 'Iron Man Hall Of Armor'. When we first saw that we thought the graphics of the Mark XXV 'Striker' and a bunch of other Iron Man suits meant we'd get an extension to that set featuring the missing suits, but instead the extension we did get featured different suits Lego could give us the figures in future, but alternatively they could just be referencing designs solely for Easter Egg purposes. Chances are they would make comic inspired Fantastic Four sets if potential Fantastic Four movie sets are popular. In terms of MCU based Fantastic Four sets, unless they appear prior we will probably have to wait till the film which is likely in 2023 or 2024. I'd lean towards the film in 2024, can already imagine the date merging to make the Fantastic Four symbol
  24. I don't personally think the Eternals sets would release in March. It seems unlikely Lego would delay the sets from presumably November 2020 to January/February 2021 following the original delays of the film...and then proceed to release them in March 2021 when the movie is not out until November 2021. Granted they have advertised the sets, but I think Eternals has been pushed back all the way to November 2021 so that it can release alongside the movie.
  25. I don't think we have information on when they are releasing exactly. Implication from other delayed sets is that they were delayed to release closer to the movie, so theory is they are going to release around November given the films current November 5th 2021 release.
