Lego_Fulcrum confirmed it is NOT a big fig.

I mean, at least we have something for else for May I guess and it's good that Lego is taking risks with Marvel D2C's... but Venom again? I knew chances were slim but it's not even Raimi based and potentially not even using the Flatiron Building design due to being based on the comics where the Daily Bugle was a fairly generic building. Will need to see the set and the full range of figures, but at the moment it seems like a pass.

True, I think Brickroll was referring to the idea of misleading us slightly before we get the official reveal to keep us guessing and then surprising us with set info revealing it's something that we've always wanted

Possibly to an extent? but sources tend to lose a bit of credibility for doing that unless they make it somewhat evident that it's misdirection. I don't think the sources here have done that prior?

I'd hope that regardless of what this years D2C is that we'll wind up with a D2C for 2022 also - given it's the 10th Anniversary of Avengers (film) and the Marvel Cinematic Universe Lego sets

Apparently we will know the set name and the release date. From there we can get a general sense of when the set might be officially revealed. We might get other information, but only name/release date have been confirmed as aspects we will discover. I'd be interested in the figures, but dropping $300 for the set just for them is a bit of a yikes... I'd maybe be more tempted depending on if Spider-man:NWH brings in the Raimi cast as figures... then would make sense to have a Daily Bugle that would fit for them. Lol, I'll be sure to add the D2C information to the list also as I expect multiple pages to fly by when we get info xD I missed when it started also, some are stating around 45 minutes? guessing between 6pm and 7pm UK time.

Probably just for fun/attention? Alternatively I'm guessing they are allowed to reveal it at a set time, less of a leak and more of an approved reveal given if the set were to release in say April then a reveal around the middle of this month of the set would make sense and the name/release date reveal would be the first part of the hype before Lego officially reveal the set

I'm not particularly interested in the Daily Bugle from the Raimi series unless it actually has the Raimi characters, feels like an odd choice to potentially do that design if it's not going to include characters from that film. It never looked like that in the comics. I guess it could be based on The Spectacular Spider-Man TV Series...? The only other time the Flaitron building has been used was for 'Damage Control' and Spider-Man: Web Of Shadows. We had Rhino... kinda? We had the TASM2 inspired version in a seperate set. Maybe we could get the comic version. No problem :)

Would prefer it to be based on Spider-man 3, we never got sets for that and it could give us practically all the crucial figures: New Goblin Green Goblin suit in a hidden lab area Venom Black Suited Raimi Spider-man Sandman Normal Suit Raimi Spider-man Gwen Stacy Mary Jane Waston Even throw Doctor Octopus in there if they really wanted, but with NWH maybe they would not need to.

Please refer to 'List' for questions regarding sets/release. Release dates are a messy subject, but generally they are as accurate as can be.

It would... but then again, the Spider-man Far From Home set has no reason to be an October set and we've got more info on that than 76200 at this time Falcon said release by May 31st. If we are getting the name now, I could see the official set being revealed later this month for an April release

Maybe, I think it's unlikely the D2C would be massively figure focused anyway. Possible, but unlikely A few exclusive figures are all we can really reasonably expect - unless they go full I think it'd be more hilarious if it's Giant Man getting a set like 76075. He was much bigger for the final battle in Avengers Endgame, so it'd be a little funny if the main complaint about the Giant Man Endgame set was that he was small.
