  1. No, this one, is not legitimate. The user is known for posting fake leaks. Avengers Tower is sourced from a knock-off called 'Tiger 55120 - Hero Tower' you can view it below and experience the set for yourself here.
  2. Neat, previous one was 1363 pieces and that was split between the main mech, display area and side builds. In this case its apparently all focused on the Hulkbuster, so it's going to be double the size and well over double the pieces - presumably included a new Hulkbuster helmet mold/piece I'd guess. Only downside is that it's the HulkbusterMKII as opposed to the more iconic Hulkbuster MK1 - but even then I'm probably only using it as a base. I sometimes feel I'm the only one hyped for this set, which is a bit of a shame. I really think a massive Lego mech has a huge level of potential. Is anyone else interested in this, or just me. Feel a little sad for the designer if it winds up being awesome and nobody else was hyped for it prior because we had a bunch of prior Hulkbusters that tainted the hype, hopefully it'll sell well if it is awesome The only complete mystery sets are 76222 and 76224. It's unknown what is happening with them, they may not even be Marvel, but for the moment we just have to wait and see. The only other set we don't have details on is 76210, which is the 500€ D2C. This is heavily believed to be Marvel. Personally I would not be surprised if it got pushed back, but it could still release this year, November would probably be the earliest point. I'm trying to keep a rough list on sets, hopefully you find that helpful. Updated List: In general the method we should probably be using to judge is based on when other merchandising companies get out Spider-man: NWH merchandise. At the moment a few companies have merchandise with the three Spider-men and Doc Ock, but I've not spotted any that have the villains beyond places like Hot Toys. Until we see merchandise of the other villains, I would not expect to see Lego NWH sets - or if we do it'd just be Doc Ock Vs Iron Spider on the bridge 2HY 2023 as such seems like the earliest, though maybe we'll be surprised. I've kinda subconciously accepted that we probably won't get them though and we'll wind up getting Tobey & Andrew suits when we get to Secret Wars if they return.
  3. Hope so, none of the others interest me and we had a creature set for Black Panther so hopefully we get the War Whale this time. With that said, I'm leaning more towards the $80 set being part of Wakanda featuring the other throne, potentially having Ramonda, M'Baku, Okoye, Namor (with headware), Namora and Shuri (with helmet) maybe with a generic Everett Ross thrown in for the figure count. Was told the information by a leaker and was informed they had was already posted it publically online, turns out they had'nt... oof When we get lists like these they tend to be a mixture from DC & Marvel, we had it happen with the 76221(Batman Flash Tracking) and we still have 76222 and 76224 presumably for this year which could be either Marvel or DC Here's what we know for 2023: Three of the January sets are definitely Marvel: 76232, 76242 and 76244. This leaves five sets in January that could be Marvel or DC. Then three April sets could be either Marvel or DC Looking at schedule of films surrounding these release dates: Shazam (December) sadly seems unlikely to get sets as we did not get sets for the first movie. Ant-Man 3 (February) has a history of getting 1 set, but in this case has a much larger cast of important characters to represent so will probably be 2-4 sets. Aquaman 2 (March) had 1 set previously, so I could see the sequel having a set also Guardians Of The Galaxy 3 (May) has typically had 3 sets and we currently have 3 sets listed for April This naturally ignores the potential for non-film inspired sets and I'd definitely expect some mechs and potentially another buildable figure (76244 perhaps?) With that said the majority are probably Marvel, just don't want anyone to think that they will all definitely be Marvel :p Updated List:
  4. I'd lean to 2-4 Ant-Man & The Wasp sets: Kang, Modok, Hank, Janet, Hope, Cassie, Ant-Man, Krylar all need to be included in some form. I would not be surprised if these are all Guardians Of The Galaxy 3 sets: 76253: $9.99, 76254: $34.99 and 76255: $99.99 Added them to the list, should also note we are aware of 76232 as that was uploaded to the instruction page along with 76242 and 76244 prior. Those three sets are 100% Marvel, the rest could be a mixture of DC and Marvel. Updated List:
  5. No clue, we'll have to wait for the reveal in that regard.
  6. Timezones strike again, lol If the more expensive set has the MK1 or potential MK2 Iron Heart that could explain why they'd save the reveal, admittedly though some merch has been shown with it. Edit: Apparently the three sets being revealed are a Throne, a Lab and the Sunbird. I'd guess: The Throne is probably based on Namor's Throne in Atlantis which has a Shark Jaw around it The Lab is probably where we see Riri Williams in the trailer (Either the high tech version or the cave) The Sunbird we've seen in trailers is effectively the Dragon Flyer with a few more wings and some propellors that we've seen in merchandise.
  7. At the moment I definitely feel they'll have to have a CMF series in either 2023 or 2024 to cover a bunch of the characters. The Kang Dynasty & Secret Wars sets are going to be nuts as long as Lego get provided with concept art we could probably see over 8 sets o_o Black Panther sets are October yet potentially getting revealed tomorrow... wonder when they'll reveal the buildable Venom, Spider-man and Miles though as they were intended for September. It probably includes the supporting hero character many are already aware of who has been featured on merchandise - but they have not shown them in trailers yet. We'll probably get a second trailer for BP:WF featuring this character on September 10th with D23 and a reveal of 76214 after. Probably followed by the Hulkbuster MKII getting revealed late September
  8. 66711: Infinity Saga Collection set has been revealed. It's a 2-in-1 pack containing the Armory (76216) and Baby Groot (76217) and appears to be out currently. At the moment it appears to be retailing for cheaper than the cost of the two sets individually. $89.99 Armory $54.99 Baby Groot $99.99 2-in-1 pack Total savings: $44.99 Updated List:
  9. I guess this has overlap here and is relevant at the same time. Lego is running a Bionicle contest. I feel this has an extremely high chance of being used to judge interest in buildable action figures, the activity and desires of the community and the general desire to pursue future Lego action figures in future - potentially even extending to a Bionicle Gen 3. If you have an interest in Bionicle or are aware of someone who does, getting them to enter this contest would help demonstrate an active action figure/Bionicle community and could shape the direction of Lego's action figures in future.
  10. While we have no leaks or rumours regarding that as an option, we do have some reasons to believe that they could have a legacy set. Black Panther is the most popular character in Black Panther, so I can easily see them finding a way to include him and a Legacy set would be the best way to do so. In addition while we may be aware of a lot of spoilery stuff its unclear how much info Lego would have been provided. You also have other companies focusing around legacy figures and toys from the first film. If we did have a legacy set I'd lean towards it being the 4+ set, it'd be an easy way to include Black Panther and its the cheapest set of the wave so would be very easy to sell while also appealing to fans of the character who would like an updated version. Depends how much Lego communicated with Disney regarding what would be revealed at what time. Presumably they'll reveal the main antagonist and the supporting character, which most people are currently aware of - but I would not personally lean towards the trailer revealing all of what the sets will include as they'll save some surprises for the second trailer that would probably be in September. So maybe one or two sets at most getting revealed, the 4+ set and 30€ set being the most likely to contain minimal spoilers. Should probably note if we get more than that or others, I'm happy to be wrong. Would be nice seeing the entire wave so early to see if anything appeals or if I should save towards the D2C and Hulkbuster MKII.
  11. I think it'd be easy enough for them to reveal the three Spider-man sets (Miles 76225, Spider-man 76226, Venom 26230) intended for September as we are nearly in August and it'd be better to reveal them now rather than them leaking. We could maybe get the reveal of one of the Black Panther Wakanda Forever sets, if it's primarily legacy focused with minimal spoilers - but would'nt expect anything more than those options. Its sadly too early for Hulkbuster MKII and I doubt the D2C is getting revealed here, I'd lean towards us not seeing anything else other than potentially those three Spider-man sets and potentially a BP:WF set.
  12. I think the lack of villains in merchandise is telling. Until we see companies like Hasbro producing figures of final battle Green Goblin or Electro it seems unlikely to me that we are close to a Lego set release. Lego would want a level of conflict in a box as opposed to just releasing the three Spider-men, lack of villains could mean a lack of concept art being provided to merchandise companies. We are aware of three unknown Marvel 2023 sets: 76232, 76242 and 76244. Three sets, three Spider-men? Could be one or more of those, but personally I'd expect NWH sets to be August 2023 at this point IF they happen at all. Up until that point they have Ant-Man 3 (Feb), Guardians 3 (May) and Captain Marvel 2 (July) with the potential for a film in November. We'll know more about the film schedule at SDCC but August 2023 seems like it'd give enough time for the film related sets to sell before introducing new sets that would attract attention and it's within the July-September bracket they have used for some Legacy sets. It's also appropriate as the official teaser trailer was released in late August 2021, giving two years since the teaser trailer.
  13. I'm leaning towards Defender Strange. He's absent from the MoM sets and they would have had his concept art incredibly early yet the only version we have is his corpse >< I'd hope for Stark/Avengers Tower, visually appearing similar to Avengers while having figures from Avengers and potentially Avengers: AoU or Avengers: Endgame (But unlikely). It'd work as an anniversary set and could potentially fit alongside the Sanctum. At its most basic level the figure selection would be: Iron Man MK6, Iron Man MK7, Captain America, Thor, Hulk (Big Fig, moving head), Black Widow, Hawkeye, Loki Additional figures that could then be added if needed to fill the figure count: Chitauri, Pepper Potts, Tony Stark and Nick Fury as repeated figures from this year's sets Phil Coulson, Bruce Banner, Eric Selvig and Maria Hill as supporting figures Rhodey, Scarlet Witch, Quicksilver, Vision, Ultron and Ultron Drones from AoU Iron Man MK85, Ant-Man and Shield Agent Tony Stark from Endgame Throwing in the MK4 Iron Man on display would help encourage sales as it is the only missing MK1-7 suit. The only other likely alternative would be an Icons Collection with Captain America's Shield and an Arc Reactor as some of the builds to go along with Thor's Hammer - however I don't feel that would sell as well and the April Fools style instagram post about such a collection was met mostly with people saying they'd not buy it.
  14. I'm mostly curious how they will adapt it after seeing Bowser. The Hulkbuster MKII is a incredibly smooth design, to really do that design justice in Lego you'd need it to be almost entirely studless.
  15. 76215: Hulkbuster MKII ($300/300€) is October 2022 according to Brick Clicker. Unsure if they have a direct source or not, but fairly reliable in the past when reporting info. A brief reminder on details first: 2,500 piece estimate, previous Hulkbuster had 1362 pieces No accessories, everything is focused on the Hulkbuster MKII 1 figure, believed to be Tony Stark or Bruce Banner 50-60cm tall, previous Hulkbuster was 25cm tall In general it sounds like they took the complaints of piece allocation from the last set and decided to put it all towards this build. With some of the new joint pieces introduced this year, it could arguably be very posable, I would not be surprised if we get knee articulation this time. After seeing how Bowser looked for $270, I can definitely see Hulkbuster MKII having a lot more potential than people really expect. Hopefully it improves on the original - and if the design is good enough it might become the basis for something else that I may do... Updated List: The old guard is leaving or dead, to help sell Phase 4 and set-up future media they are mostly team-ups so its not really surprising that is the case here also. With that said: With recent remarks from Blick Clicker that the Hulkbuster MKII is October also, I think that increased our potential chance of seeing it at SDCC. It's either going to be the Hulkbuster MKII OR a Wakanda Forever set... maybe both. D2C will probably be November to give people time to get it for Christmas
  16. I'd lean more towards a reveal of the D2C or Hulkbuster MKII personally, having Marvel at SDCC remarking on the past phases and looking forward into late stage 4/5 would be a good time to reflect on the 10 year anniversary of the first Avengers film with Lego capitalising on this via revealing the D2C/Hulkbuster MKII if they are indeed still coming this year - otherwise not sure when/where/how they would be revealed.
  17. Spoiler tagging for spoilers, but this is likely the list of figures we'd get judging by what's been revealed With four sets, all together priced at around $180, I'd guess we have a max of 14/15 unique figures. Either way we have less than two weeks until SDCC where they'll probably reveal all the Black Panther 2 stuff.
  18. No problem, think it came with two figures in that wave Hermione and Ron - perhaps showed up for other figures also? Here is a link to it. The book behind a golden chain is likely a reference to the book of Cagliostro - although several books were shown forbidden in that movie and bound in golden chains. The Book Of Vishanti is a little complicated, as did not really get a good look at it on-screen, mostly spending its time glowing with blue/purple light. I'd lean towards this piece being used to replicate it. It featured in the Nexo Knights series. Cover design is not accurate, but it's got the golden trim the book appears to have and it's partially transcluent so kinda appears magical. The Darkhold's cover design has generally changed quite a bit over time but it's a dark/black book, either has its name written on the cover or a diagram depicting two keys intersecting in the middle. Unless Lego make a specific piece I'd personally suggest this piece, once again from the Harry Potter CMF, which looks creepy enough that it could work as some evil book. All? They have a list of 2022 Marvel sets that they have here and here. The list does have some inaccuracies such as two DC sets that are still listed 76220 and 76221, but that's probably because they heard differently and just have not updated those as not directly heard new information and prefer hearing it direct rather than via second-hand sources/retailer leaks. Black Panther sets are the thing I am the least interested in from this year. I'm not a fan of the changed design for several of the newer/returning characters and I don't have a drive to see this movie without T'Challa. I think if we get a legacy set with a definitive Black Panther figure then I'd probably get that, but otherwise the entire line and film is a pass from me.
  19. Thanks, that does actually make a lot more sense. Venom is generally depicted as larger and it'd make more sense for Spider-Man and Miles to have a closer figure count. Have updated the list. Update: Promobricks have updated their list: Miles is 76225 238 pieces Spider-man is 76226 258 pieces Venom is 76230 - 297 pieces
  20. In terms of potential figures/constraction, I think Green Goblin definitely needs to get one. A set with him and the glider would be awesome. This piece in the Harry Potter CMF series 2 could work well for a 'full' drink. Unsure if an empty version of this mold exists. I could definitely see these Spider-man sets being similar to the Iron Man figure but less complex, smaller and perhaps with a new piece for feet/leg/arm/knee detailing to go along with the smooth shoulder/mask piece. I really am getting the vibe that this is going to be another attempt at constraction sets - think along the lines of Knights Kingdom II though. The main collapse of prior constraction themes has been a reliance on new molds each year. The stuff Lego seems to be introducing at the moment is parts that can serve multiple functions and be printed upon. The Shoulder/Mask piece for example in the Iron Man Figure. If they introduce a new armour piece or feet piece then I can really see this being a gateway into reviving constraction. Establishing an interest as licensed themes constraction figures such as Marvel could allow them to branch off into things such as Ninjago, A Knights Kingdom revival due to the popularity of Castle, perhaps a 25th anniversary Tahu in 2026 to test interest, etc... Edit: In terms of specifically pricing, using a price per piece calculator: Venom 238 = $0.126 per piece ($30) Miles 258 = $0.116 per piece ($30) Iron Man 381 = $0.105 per piece ($40) Spider-man 297 = $0.101 per piece ($30) Ideally Venom & Miles would be $25 but I can see justification for it if they have new pieces included. Anything under $0.14 is considered good by the price per piece calculator and these sets normally have a 20% off sale, or in the case of Iron Man I've seen it go for around $20 which would be a ratio of $0.052 per piece. They are priced in theory relatively well compared to how many pieces they have any the potential for new pieces. According to exabrickslegogo_ on instagram 76225 is Venom (238 pieces), 76226 is Miles Morales (258 pieces) and 76230 is Spider-man (297) pieces. It's a little odd to me how Venom has about 59 fewer pieces compared to Spider-man, perhaps Spider-man has some web pieces or something to justify it? Edit: Not accurate, refer to here Either way, that pretty much sums up what we know of for the end of the year: August: Sanctum Sanctorum & Nano Gauntlet September: Venom, Miles Morales, Spider-man, GotG Christmas Calendar October: Black Panther (Four Sets) Unknown: 76222, 76224 (Potentially DC sets) Snapped: 500€ D2C, Hulkbuster MKII No idea what is happening with 66711 Infinity Saga Collection, but Brickmerge lists it at 972 pieces. If accurate the closest I could come to that piece count using pre-existing sets that fall under the category of the Infinity Saga line would be 76192 Endgame Final Battle (527 Pieces) + 76206 Iron Man Figure (381 Pieces) + 40525 Endgame Battle (62 Pieces) which would be 970 pieces. Updated List:
  21. Any chance these sets may draw character influence from Across The Spider-Verse? That was at one stage intended for release in October and these three sets are September Either way, at least the 60th anniversary of Spider-man now has something small in Lego form, hopefully we can get the Spider-man Bust also to go alongside Venom & Carnage. I think having a new form of buildable figure style established now is the only hope any style of constraction theme has, Lego is unlikely to take the risk of an entirely new building system again - and Marvel is the most popular theme to start with. By having it primarily reliant on the current Lego bricks, they can introduce new pieces slowly over time that more closely resemble CCBS such as the shoulder/helmet piece they did for Iron Man, which mirrors this piece. This means the budget primarily goes towards printing on the new face print rather than necessarily requiring new moulds each time for heads, this would save on costs. Ofcourse any potential new theme in this style would'nt be greenlit until around late 2023 and would'nt be on shelves until around 2026 - which admittedly would be a good time for a Bionicle return to benefit from the 25th anniversary. I can picture Spidey & Venom, taking those concepts and simplifying them using the new helmet/shoulder piece from the Iron Man set. Miles would probably be just the black/red suit as opposed to including elements like the hood or jacket. I think having the suits fully on, no human faces, would be the key to the success of portraying these characters.
  22. Finally some news, was worried we'd hear nothing until August. The reveal of the Sanctum took away a lot of discussion so it was mostly just waiting around Any updates on what the heck is going on with the Hulkbuster MKII and/or $500 D2C? I'd prefer figures in the same style to Iron Man as opposed to mech double packs - at least if we had more in that style it could eventually become a replacement to CCBS and lead to a Knights Kingdom/Bionicle/Exo Force reboot or at the very least the Avengers and Justice League in that form. The Iron Man figure had an included light brick, I doubt any of these (If in a similar style) would include it - smaller sets, less pieces, slightly less complicated design... could explain the pricing.
  23. The actor who plays him described him as 'Alpha Groot' in GotG3 so I'd lean towards a King Groot style appearance or at minimum similar to his appearance in GotG - so chances are we'll go back to a brick-built Groot. Though I could definitely see the legs and arms working for Groot.
  24. Some non-custom figure swaps/upgrades for the Sanctum: Ebony Maw: Torso and leg print from the 2018 version, either head is fine depending on your preference Wong: Bricktober pack Wong, figure is not cheap but the torso and legs are perfect, either head is fine depending on your preference Scarlet Witch: While the new torso print is great it probably won't work with the CMF legs - so just use the torso and legs from the CMF and whichever head you feel gives off the vibe you desire Sinister Strange: Give him the hair piece from Percival Graves
  25. All the photo's and display of the Sanctum try and avoid the head-on view that reveals it is missing an entire corner/side. Here is the best example detailing the missing spire and segment on the left side of the build.
