  1. Next chance to get them is probably 2HY 2023. Though at this stage, we probably won't get them as we've not seen much merchandise for the villains of the film.
  2. For UK people the return of Toysrus' website offers some potential savings on the Marvel sets and some other sets, so worth checking that out. October is finally here. Due to recent remarks via Brick_Clicker it appears we are down to only one set left for the year that we are aware of: 76210. This is the mystery D2C priced at $500+ and presumably including the AoU Iron Man figure recently. Speculation has primarily been related to the Hulkbuster MKI or MKII, teased over a year ago, however we probably won't know much more for a while as the rumored release date is November 11th 2022. Updated List:
  3. Comic Deadpool paired with the recent comic Wolverine from the mech in a set would probably be the easiest way to go. Armor Wars being a movie means a higher chance of seeing sets for it. We originally had a remark about a lot of new suits being introduced. Nearly at October, so hopefully we won't have to wait until November to see the D2C.
  4. It's still coming and as far as we are aware it is the last Marvel set of 2022. The release date is believed to be November 11th 2022. It's been through a lot of delays so most likely The Black Panther bust was going to be released on November 11th but got moved forward instead. The set was originally priced at $500, but is very likely more than that due to a mixture of reasons Brick_Clicker seems to believe the Iron Man figure is from the set Though we don't know the identity of the $500+ set at the moment, it's most likely going to be the Hulkbuster. This would fit in with early mixed reports from Promobricks from November last year that we were getting a Hulkbuster MKII. Though given the figure is based on the appearance of Iron Man during Age Of Ultron I would not be entirely surprised if we wind up with the Hulkbuster MKI or perhaps some blend between the two designs or even the ability to rebuild using the included pieces between the two designs. It'd finally make sense for the year, given we'd have a set that potentially represents Thor Ragnarok (The Hammer), Black Panther (Black Panther Bust), Infinity War (Sanctum Sanctorum) and Endgame (Hulkbuster MKII). I'd lean towards Thor's Hammer as sorta fitting into Ragnarok because that was part of the main focus of the original marketing, the Hammer being destroyed. I'd guess if they had anything planned for Captain Marvel it was probably pushed back when the film was... potentially 76232 'The Marvels' set if that is still releasing in January as opposed to getting delayed (Think along the lines of a legacy Captain Marvel set releasing under 'The Marvels' branding perhaps. Maybe I'm sorta fitting things together for this theory, but I think the Black Panther Bust, Sanctum and Hulkbuster MKII kinda fit the idea.
  5. Honestly, I could see them revamping and re-releasing 6866 again or something very similar. We had a comic Wolverine this year with a mech, so just do a comic Deadpool and release a set featuring them. Probably throw in another character also in comic form that's partially related to the movie or popular.
  6. Also seems to occur on Android phones.
  7. We probably won't have a leak of the $500+ set until Mid/Late October - but remember that most the 2023 stuff is back-to-back so we should have leaks monthly once we get into 2023 :)
  8. $500+ would give them a lot more wiggle room given the previous version was around $120. We're talking over 4x the budget. At such a scale it'd be easier to provide detailing. I'd also expect them to have taken in feedback, so chances are they'd focus on display. Though admittedly we're probably getting too hyped up on the idea of it being the Hulkbuster, it could still wind up being a Black Panther 2 Vehicle given the potential release date on the same day as Black Panther 2. We're unlikely to see the set until late October but I really do hope it is the Hulkbuster, such a big mech would surely introduced a lot of new elements that one could use for mech builds let alone just seeing a $500+ Lego mech, like the closest we have is Bowser and that's around $270...
  9. Given all the apparently delays and pushbacks, coupled with present day inflation, we should probably consider that the $500 set probably won't be $500 if/when it releases on November 11th. I feel acknowledging that might be beneficial now to prepare ourselves for any price fluctuations. We've been referring to it as the $500 set for a while as we don't know what it is unfortunately, but that pricing and information was from November 2021 and times have changed unfortunately. Personally I'd be fine with just Hulkbuster, if it's like a definitive perfect version, I'd consider it even if the pricing was high. I want a Hulkbuster that I can pose and display and always enjoyed Lego venturing into mech builds - plus the Hulkbuster concept is technically a guy in a mech suit wearing a mech suit, which is pretty awesome for the concept I've always liked builds with dark red so they appeal to me asthetically and I think it could easily improve a lot over the flaws of the previous version that people remarked on. Ideally would like a MK1 which was focused on more but I could easily see the MKII being the more likely if it winds up being the D2C given the original remarks by Promobricks way back in November last year. I'm curious as to what it'll wind up being.
  10. For those who were speculating on the Black Panther 2 trailer, I'd probably lean to around NYCC 2022 from October 6th-9th, so the sets will release prior but at least the second trailer should not be far after. I've never seen Hulk wearing socks... but your point is made. We really have no clue on the $500 set. We can perhaps lean towards generalized information that was reported such as the remark on a Hulkbuster MKII set, but that may have been mixed up with the January sets. Logically it'd probably be something that is based on an iconic aspect from Infinity War or Endgame however Black Panther and potentially Captain Marvel should be under consideration under the idea they were financially succesful solo movies. Generally it'd make sense to go for something popular in theory. We should also factor in the potential for the potential release date of November 11th to be hinting towards it being based on Black Panther Wakanda Forever which releases the same day. Though I don't think that's a wise choice personally as it'd not have had much exposure prior. It's not just Legoleaks, but seemingly any hashtag, which definitely makes it worse. It's going to make finding and relaying Lego information more difficult if this is an intentional change for whatever reason. So last word I'll say on it for the moment is that anyone searching for new information needs to make sure to visit the users themselves who provide it. I really hope it is temporary.
  11. What if the Hulkbuster is the AoU one... but it's not the only thing in the $500 set. Hulkbuster having around 2,700 pieces (Double the previous version) as rumored, Hulk having around 1,700 for a total piece count of 4,400 including an exclusive Iron Man figure. Just speculation, no clue what the $500 set is now. Source Yeah, Instagram being a broken mess is definitely going to be a problem going into $500 set leak/rumour season (October) for it's stated 11th November release. It'll probably be important to check around multiple users as we won't be able to see their posts on hashtags unless Instagram fixes this mess. Only Marvel characters that I could see people buying at that insane scale would be Iron Man with Arc Reactor and Repulsor Gauntlet, Thanos with Helmet & Infinity Gauntlet and Captain America with his helmet if it was with half of the shield as opposed to the hands. I feel those characters have had the most focus.
  12. It appeared so briefly and we've already had like two sorta variations that it'd probably be fine releasing in such a set without angering too many people - so could be a good choice if so. The AoU Hulkbuster is definitely the more iconic version and had more screentime. I'd certainly be more likely to consider getting it if it's the AoU version. It just depends on how well it's designed along with the piece count. Yeah, either Instagram is broken or it's doing something dumb with it's display options. Seems to be a common issue.
  13. After all this chaos, it'd be kinda hilarious if it winds up being an Avengers Tower D2C after all.
  14. My best bet: 76247: Hulkbuster: The Battle of Wakanda €49.99 is a remake/revamp of '76104: The Hulkbuster Smash-Up' €34.99 76284: The Avengers Quinjet €99.99 is a remake/revamp of '6869: Quinjet Aerial Battle' €69.99 ? is a remake/revamp of '76038: Attack on Avengers Tower' €69.99 That way you'd have a remake/revamp set from Avengers, Age Of Ultron and Infinity War. Iron Man could belong to said remake of Avengers Tower, given that's the only scene he had that outfit. Alternatively he could be in the polybag set. IF THE FIGURE IS LEGIT THAT IS.
  15. Unless it's a multiverse crossover (Kang Dynasty?, Secret Wars?) or Spider-man film (MCU Spider-man 4, TASM3, Raimi Spider-man 4) or Spider-man related film (Sinister Six, Spider-verse/Live action Spider-verse) I doubt we'll see Morbius in something that's core MCU and in most cases it'd be a cameo based on popularity from meme culture. The Miles Vs Morbius set is probably going to be comic based but could draw some inspiration from Across the Spider-verse which was originally scheduled to release this year, similar to prior sets taking some design aspects. I'd expect Morbius is here because of the nature of his movie release helping him gain a bit more popularity while Miles is here because of Across the Spider-verse and the original intended 2023 release of Beyond The Spider-verse along with the popularity of Spider-man PS4 and it's upcomming sequel bringing more and more awareness to Miles.
  16. I don't feel this Black Panther wave as a whole offers enough of the Atlanteans to get across the idea of two nations going to war. We also lack supporting characters, every character we have is a hero or villain, someone who presumably would have a fighting role - there's nobody who'd be outside of the fighting like Everett Ross or Ramonda. The most unique build is Namor's throne as all the Black Panther primary vehicles are just black with some minor detailing other than the minaturised Dragon Flyers in the boat set. I know Lego is stuck using the movie's designs, but it makes certain sets less interesting and some feel like Batman vehicles (Shuri's Sunbird as 'The Bat' from TDKR) Have not been massively interested in this wave, but was intrigued by the Namor's throne set and was waiting till the end of this wave in the hopes it'd flesh out the Atlanteans a bit more to justify getting Namor, Attuma and hopefully Namora and a generic Atlantean but without those it feels kinda pointless having two unique Atlanteans to represent an entire nation. That's unfortunately, thanks for clarifying though. Guess we are only waiting on the D2C now for this year.
  17. I am still curious as to what 76222 and 76224 are, we were meant to get them this year and while they are possibly delayed DC sets I'd like to get confirmation. The D2C I don't mind waiting a little longer to hear information on at this point. If it is indeed the November 11th release date then it's possible we won't even see the set until late October/November. Knowing the identity of the set would be immensely helpful, but for $500 I guess it'd help more to see it because execution is key. They seem fairly sure we'd get the Hulkbuster MKII either this year or early next, whether that be the $500 set or not, so I'd lean to the numbers being confused as opposed to the set information.
  18. 545 pieces, five figures... definitely not seeing the justification for the $79.99 price point. Hopefully this 'Royal Leopard' is what was misleading people about the $500 D2C and the $500 D2C will be something non-Black Panther related. Given the D2C's potential release date of November 11th, we likely won't see it until the end of October so it's gonna be a bit of a wait to know for sure. We now have only three potential 2022 Marvel reveals that we are aware of: 76222, 76224 and 76210 ($500 D2C) Updated List:
  19. Potential for spoilers/speculation regarding characters appearing in future movies, hereby decreasing likelihood of them getting included in CMF Series 2. As such my list of figures would be: US Agent Blue outfit with Shield (TF&TWS) Hawkeye with 1x2 tile 'Rogers The Musical' ticket (Hawkeye) Kate Bishop with Lucky (Hawkeye) Moon Knight with crescent blade (Moon Knight) Scarlet Scarab with wings (Moon Knight) She-Hulk (She-Hulk) Daredevil (She-Hulk/Echo) Echo (Echo) Kingpin (Echo/Hawkeye) Loki (Loki S2) Mobius M. Mobius (Loki S1/S2) Infinity Ultron (What If S1) You could take out Daredevil & Kingpin and replace them with 'What If S2' characters if Lego want to hold off on Daredevil/Kingpin until the Disney+ series. I think the black & white asthetic of Werewolf By Night might remove it from figure possibilities for a CMF - if you are doing sets you generally want to do something vibrant to catch peoples eye. Werewolf By Night & Man Thing have been shown on a Disney Attraction, so it's possible they will show up in future Marvel installments such as Secret Wars so I'd lean more towards us getting them later on.
  20. Adding this to the list as a potential thing, but Stonewars.de also lists 30653 as a 'Super Heroes' polybag for June. Does not state Marvel or DC at this time though.
  21. Thanks for clarifying - updating it.
  22. It's updatin' time... thanks to Stonewars.de. Main things to cover: They do not list 10791 as a Spidey & Friends set currently, Promobricks do though. They list 30652 as a set with 44 pieces, perhaps another pack like the Endgame Battle Pack, potentially a polybag due to numbering, either way it's a February thing meaning we have something new each month January-April :) Edit: 30653 is listed as a Superhero polybag for June, unclear if Marvel or DC Updated List: Stonewars.de (Link) I think the only comparison would be Doctor Strange 2 being pushed back to occur after NWH, but that was announced a lot earlier. In the case of Ant-Man 3 sets would be designed early enough, but the problem would be mass manufacturing/distribution and how quickly Lego would be able to respond to that. It's a singular set, seemingly, so that'd be easier than shifting an entire wave though the lack of a date listed by Promobricks also leads me to the viewpoint that we should'nt necessarily view it as a certainty that it'll release alongside the film. The original 'Quinjet: Aerial Battle' set was 734 and I'm expecting that to be a better comparison. My theory at the moment is that the Quinjet is a remake of that set. I think you could easily remake the set with 795 piece count, with or without the Chitauri vehicle. Chitauri would probably be a repeat figure.
  23. Should also mention that we could see a reverse of the situation with the Ant-Man 3 set. Ant-Man 3 and Captain Marvel 2 swapped release dates in April 2022, Ant-Man moved from July to February - meaning unless Lego have the set ready to go early we might not see the Ant-Man 3 set around the release date of the film, instead it may wind up being closer to the middle of the year. As far as I can remember its more that Lego makes something that becomes a meme OR releases something to tie into a new film that can result in overlap alongside a meme. We primarily have situations like 'Baby Yoshi' becoming 'Fat Yoshi' or the 'Bathtub Stunt Bike' getting referred to as the 'Bathmobile'. Then you have lines of dialogue like 'A man has fallen in the river in Lego City', 'A landslide has occured'. Well we have late 2023 as a potential option, but failing that we do open up to legacy set possibilities if a Spider-man 4 is on the horizon. Though yes, it's best to lower hopes for NWH sets as the time passes.
  24. I think it'll just be Ant-Man, Wasp, Cassie and brick-built Modok. Three figures and Modok being Brick-built seems logical. They could save Kang for a potential Loki Season 2 set that would release middle of 2023 or Marvel CMF Series 2 (If we are lucky) in late 2023. Any NWH sets would likely be the second half of the year, I think this list would mostly be focused around the first half? Though two sets priced like that, one being Peter's appartment and one being a Statue Of Liberty/Lab battle could cover all the figures. Other than that we have so many options. My main speculation would be: Spider-man Helmet, as we got one for Venom & Carnage 10th anniversary remake sets, going under the viewpoint the Quinjet is a remake of the Avengers 2012 set Legacy sets, revisiting prior films such as The Incredible Hulk (Hulk, Abomination), Iron Man 2 (Justin Hammer, Drones, Whiplash MK1), Thor Dark World (Malekith, Kurse), Captain America Winter Soldier (Alexander Pierce, Batroc, Stealth Suit Cap), Doctor Strange (Kaecilius, Dormammu), Thor Ragnarok (Surtur, Skurge), Ant-Man 2 (Hope Van Dyne, Goliath, Luis, Sonny Burch), Captain Marvel (Maria Rambeau, Yon-Rogg, Mar-Vell/Supreme Intelligence), etc... Spoilery Doctor Strange 2 set featuring the illuminati Another Iron Man armour set featuring some new Iron Man suits Iron Man Gauntlet/Arc Reactor for display
  25. Have updated the list. Worth noting that 76232: $89.99 ('The Marvels') is probably going to be delayed as the film does not release until late 2023 now. Updated List:
