  1. Not sure if its a glitch or not, as only can get it via ordering the Helicarrier. Might not work in store, though i suppose its because the ship date is in March which is when the promo bag is released Brought Attack On Avengers Tower In March will be getting the Hulkbuster Rescue Mission, Iron Man Vs Ultron and probably the Quinjet. If the double VIP points coincide with the Winter Soldier then will probably get the Hydra Fortress Smash also. Then later on in the year i'd probably get some spare Iron Man Vs Ultron for army building
  2. So in the UK it seems the Winter Soldier has been released early, those ordering the Helicarrier get it now as a promo gift. Those who dont cannot get it till later, presumeably March? In addition you get a few additional spare points for ordering the Helicarrier (If this remains it'll be a nice bonus for those getting it during double VIP points) Ok shall do that
  3. UK Site just updated... we get Winter Soldier now! Is double VIP points for everyone in March? Wondering if its in the UK
  4. Kinda of 'iffy' saying people can have their critiques and then going on to laugh at everyone elses critiques and bash literally everyone else for having an opinion as being 'absurd' and 'fly in the face of hundreds of years of research and exploration in the field of visual design'. You are literally saying people cannot criticise the colour scheme or design of the sets because it disagrees with popular opinions as if the development of visual design is completely without fault ¬.¬ Alternatively its just a Scorpion... but thats a nice head-canon :P
  5. Have you tried calling customer service, they can normally put an order through or ship any that are local to you that may not be listed on the site. Honestly, if they got rid of the area designed for the motor functions they could have put in a minifigure scale lab. The set just reeks of "I'm going to make you spend more money to get what you wanted originally"
  6. A skeleton wearing armour, which is what these skeletons are supposed to be. Thats where people are finding the issue as we get really bulky pieces of armour next to bone pieces that are hollow. If its all the bone pieces then it works (Like one of Warrior's arms) if however we get really thin upper legs and then really bulky lower legs it looks ridiculous (Basher, Grinder) Not only have they done the skeletal theme an insane amount of times as demonstrated by Mandate, they have also done the skeleton theme in a specific style before now which has been lost here. While we normally get a typical Lego Skeleton representing a normal humanoid bone structure, with the Bionicle Summer wave the bone pieces we have are much more gappy, having a gap intentionally built into the middle of them, which isnt a bone design people are typically used to seeing. In addition they are armour clad in the wrong places, unlike the other skeleton designs we have seen which have armour equally dispersed around the body or just on the chest. These humanoid skeleton sets have armour on their upper chest, shoulders and on the lower or upper parts of their legs. It doesnt help the armour is insanely bulky compared to even normal CCBS pieces, but with the new bone pieces it emphasises the size difference. If you have armour on a skeleton the armour needs to be only slightly larger than the bone pieces, otherwise it comes off as being badly proportioned, and that is the issue here. We have fairly tiny feet on most of these that grow to a massive armour piece then shrink to an even smaller bone piece.
  7. Yeah, the website is confusing, might be best to just try on the 19th like Sinthoras suggested If you mod it you can probably get it to land flat, issue with the function at the moment via the videos i've seen appears to be that the bike hits the drop doors on the way out. As such if you mod it so you have a button to drop the bike and a seperate button to open the underside doors that could work... though even then you'd have to calculate all the variables such as how high off the surface the helicarrier is and what angle it needs to be when it lands. Either way, if i get the Quinjet thats what i'll be trying :3
  8. So... i went to see what it was like to put 'The SHIELD Helicarrier' in 'my bag' to see if i'm willing to buy it... and despite it clearly being released to VIP's today and me being signed in as a VIP its now switched from being a VIP exclusive on the 17th to only being an official release on March 1st... what the heck?
  9. Have we even got proper toy commericals for the Winter sets yet. I know their is the CGI commercial with the Toa fighting LoSS and the stop motion style build-up commercials... but not sure they count as what everyone is hoping for... Which is probably this sort of thing;
  10. Its just the rest of the printed or non-printed pieces lack chains. The only one to have chains anywhere else is Skull Slicer and thats a physical chain. If you have a printed piece with a chain then you need chains printed on other pieces around the body otherwise it comes off as really silly, given it implies they only have a singular chain on them that is just connected to their chest. Instead of the impression that they were sealed underground and held in place by chains, it instead comes off as an odd and badly emphasised design choice. In addition the generic chain design obscures elements of the rest of the chest printing and makes it less unique. I love the rest of the chest printing, its just those generic chains that ruin it for me...
  11. I mean the chains printed on their chests. Skull Grinder and Skull Basher both have a symmetrical design, yet for some reason they have a single chain on their chest printing.
  12. Scale images (Only image of a PNG hulkbuster that we have... so used that. Obviously the real head should be thinner and smaller)
  13. Personally while i like the printed chest plates, these ones are weakened by that random chain that is on each of them. Feel the printing would have been much better without it as it looks odd having a single chain. Even Slicer with his chain whip doesnt balance it out because it isnt the same style of 'ancient chain' as on his chest printing
  14. As for thoughts on the set... i feel if they scrapped the idea of the Vehicle they could have probably given us a second tower or something which could have helped beef-up the set Well the Hulkbuster Smash set was $29.99/£34.99 and i believe i read somewhere that it was the cheapest way to get the Hulk... as such i would'nt be suprised if this set is about around the £49.99 area xD Now we just need images of the back of the building :3
  15. Tail function is fairly good and manages to make the legs look a little less ridiculously large, with the tail being the way it is it kind of balances out the scale. Though the body is incredibly basic and due to the basic nature plus the weight, it kind of dips the same way that Lord Of Skull Spider's does. Two of this piece are probably what i'm most looking forward to in the actual version as having some of these spare will be good for MOC'ing.
  16. It looks alright, probably going to use this method and use the orange head from the Attack On Avengers Tower Actually its probably not, it should be 10 Lego heads in height. Figures are 4 heads, Hulk is 7 heads, Hulkbuster should be 10. The actual toy version we are getting is well over that height Kevkipo is going to be happy :P
  17. Judging via Lego heads; - a normal figure is 4 heads - The hulk is 7 heads As such a Hulkbuster should be around 10 heads in height in order to be the right scale. As shown by this image the body is only slightly larger (5 heads) than Iron Man who is represented by a normal figure (4 heads)
  18. - a normal Lego figure is 4 Lego heads high - Hulk is 7 Lego heads high - A hulkbuster should be just about 10 heads high Judging via the Lego head scale on the above image that makes the body around 5 heads with the legs and arms being 5 heads in length
  19. Having built a Skull Scorpio MOC, his piece count is probably correct also
  20. Umm... Hank Pym is on the box... And the idea of micro figures was only a possibility... they said they would sort out the size issue... and it seems they've done that by making everything else larger.
  21. That is unfortunate, but have to admit, its nice not knowing about a set's inner workings. Unlike the 2015 Summer Bionicles, the Darth Vader set has people stumped. Kind of miss that sort of thing in Bionicle
  22. Any chance of you doing a LDD of Darth Vader? Not entirely sure how his middle segment works
  23. Personally Darth Vader's complexity is what i'd hoped a titan set would be like. Or atleast the lowest level of what i'd class as a CCBS titan. It includes several printed pieces, a consistant colour scheme and a build that mixes CCBS with Technic to the extent where it covers most the bone pieces on the main body. Plus his size will likely dwarf Tahu easily.
  24. yeah, it appears the toy fair images dont seem to have symbols... though cant say for sure
  25. Difficult to say... out of the AoU sets probably the Ultron variants Out of the Spider-man sets, probably Carnage or Sandman --- Also, this; and the gallery
