Marvel Superheroes 2015 Rumors & Discussion
Scarilian replied to CorneliusMurdock's topic in LEGO Licensed
My mistake, forgot about that. Edited it now :3 No problem hope you enjoy :3 Milano is better for figures containing pretty much all the Guardians other than Rocket and Groot (buying the polybag would solve that issue and allow you to fit a Groot in the ship) and putting the figures in the spaceship, build is designed around swooshability. Chances are that it'll be retiring soon given it was released over a year ago, might be better to pick that up sooner rather than later as the new Quinjet will probably be available till the end of the year atleast. If you plan to get the Milano the best option i can find is Amazon, which is currently selling the set at £62.99 (£7 off the total) http://www.amazon.co...p/dp/B00I4IWYCM Quinjet is better for vehicle design being fairly detailed and a nice upgrade from the 2012 version. Design is mostly based around playability with the entire front half of the main build being based around a motorcycle dropping feature and as originally made the set doesnt have enough room to fit a figure standing in the back, however this could be modded to fix it. If you plan to get the new Quinjet the best option i can find is Argos which is currently selling the set for £59.99 (£10 off the total) http://www.argos.co....ber/3167562.htm Personally i think the Ant-Man set would work better with the Quinjet, plus you have the fan enjoyment of having Ant-Man VS Ultron (Given Ant-Man originally made him in the comics) hope that helps :3 (Edit; Noticed you were in the UK so added links to the cheapest offers i can find) -
Personally i never saw it as any of those things other than Kopaka :P Though i do admit that i liked it and in terms of a fairly pure CCBS set (Other than the gearbox) i think its one of the better ones.

Marvel Superheroes 2015 Rumors & Discussion
Scarilian replied to CorneliusMurdock's topic in LEGO Licensed
Ah, could always advise them that if they are getting it you, to get it this month to be sure that you get the Winter Soldier polybag. Though other than that not really sure... I was tempted to get that originally, mostly for pieces. Though felt the price was too high so left it. It seems like an alright set, though i'm disappointed that the Jet is not more accurate to the movie and while the Sentinel seems accurate to the comics i would have preferred it to be movie based. Price was also a tad too high for my liking £44.99 / $49.99 for 336 pieces, feel this should have been a £34.99 set at most. The Hydra speeder is the weakest vehicle in the range with the cannon on the roof not even being properly attached and ocassionally falling off despite a piece that attempts to hold it (Part of the Super Jumper feature) Replace this with a blue pin immediately otherwise you have no control over the upper cannon.. The jeep is slightly better in terms of a vehicle set though still very inferior to the 2012 Avengers jeep we got, this new one doesnt really feel like it has as much room and its difficult to fit the two Avengers in the vehicle. Though i suppose Thor can fly i guess, though that once again begs the question of why this set really needed a vehicle as charging in guns blazing is not normally Hawkeye's tactic. Hawkeye is the better of the two figures with more accurate hair. Though i believe mixing and matching him with his 2012 version will provide the best figure given the facial prints on either head are almost identical with changes only to the expressions. As personal prefrence though i must admit i prefer the torso printing on the 2012 version as you can see the arrows on the back, though i do like the new print which is more of a jacket thing. Arguably i feel this is the best and most accurate Avenger from the 2015 sets (Including Quicksilver, Vision and Scarlet Witch) - 2012 Hawkeye has angry without glasses and brooding with glasses - 2015 Hawkeye has brooding without glasses and angry with glasses 9/10 - Accurate and compatible head printing with prior Avengers version - Improved more accurate hair piece - Leg printing - Cheapest set to get the figure Thor however i honestly find is a bit of a disappointment, same with Captain America and Quicksilver, he doesnt have leg printing. Its rather odd to see every other Avenger having leg printing while he lacks it and it ends up making group shots look akward as he has virtually the same legs as Captain America. He is almost the exact same as the 2012 version except for a more metallic (and slightly more detailed) looking torso print and arms, which is a shame. He has an angry and smug expression, which is nice, but he still overall feels like the weakest Avenger in this set. 6.5/10 - Compatible head printing with prior Avengers version - Dual face - No leg printing - Cheapest set to get the figure The Hydra Henchman is a nice figure wearing what appears to be Chitauri armor scavenged after the events of the last movie. The back print definitely screams Chitauri despite having a Hydra logo. His two sided face print is interesting, not sure if the back print is meant to be the back of a helmet or an alternative visor-like covering for his face. Lack of leg printing is once again an issue, more so here than anywhere else as the figure goes from grey torso to white legs with nothing to connect the two. 6/10 - Detailed torso printing - Dual face - No leg printing - Cheapest set to get the figure Summary; While the set provides the easiest way to get Hawkeye, Thor and the Hydra figure, i feel the set as a whole suffers from being a vehicle set that really doesnt work. While the figures are overall pretty good with Hawkeye easily being the best figure of the set, i feel this set should have really scrapped the Hydra vehicle and just given us a slightly more bulked up black 2015 Avengers jeep instead, especially given the speedster is unlikely (Though possible) to appear in the actual film. Best to worse (My opinion) - Hulkbuster Smash (2 exclusive figures, cheapest way to get Hulk, build is literally another figure and an iconic scene from the film, price justified) - Quinjet City Chase (2 exclusive figures, cheapest way to get Black Widow, vehicle build is spectacular - Attack On Avengers Tower (2 exclusive figures, lots of play features in the build without sacrificing quality of build) - Iron Man Vs Ultron (2 exclusive figure, cheapest way to get Iron Man, lots of figures for price, great army builder, build is lacking though unique) - Hydra Showdown (No exclusive figure, cheapest way to get Thor, Hawkeye and Hydra henchman, vehicles feel a little weak) - Hydra Fortress Smash (2 exclusive figures, cheapest way to get Captain America, over-priced and main base is too small) -

We dont have clarification yet as to whether the UK will get the Winter Soldier figure eventually released without having to get the Helicarrier. I've read some reports on varying sites that it was only to be with pre-ordering the Helicarrier, however the Helicarrier has been released now and you can still get the Winter Soldier so not sure how much longer that offer will be available either (Though i'd guess it'll only be for this month or while allocated supplies last) I've called multiple times enquiring and generally got the same answer, that they doubt it'll be released otherwise but they have no solid evidence as to whether it will. They know it'll be available with purchases in June in the US, but they didnt know the details on that either, so the US may end up having the same Helicarrier situation. Sorry i cant be of more help, though i think the best bet to get just the Winter Soldier figure would be getting it off eBay or Bricklink in June if the US ends up getting the figure without having to get the Helicarrier. -

Eh, decided to post the current Ultron army (with Ultimate Ultron) Image; http://i.imgur.com/UjuIyxX.jpg Quinjet Revamp 3.0 Basically 1.0 was the original, version 2.0 was adding some small tiles to the roof to smooth it out, version 3.0 was adding another layer of bricks so that the hangar could fit a figure and re-doing the cockpit so now Black Widow has a seat and console. In addition i altered the 'hangar door' mechanism so that you can open both compartments on the top without accidentally triggering it. Image gallery; http://imgur.com/a/oCrfr If you want to get it now you honestly should, If you can get it in a sale thats great. If your hesitant then i'd wait a while until your sure though. -
Should invest in Lego Marvel sets, or Star wars?
Scarilian replied to Nekchir's topic in LEGO Licensed
Star Wars seems to be re-doing a lot of its sets and figures, i would'nt be suprised if even the new sets get re-made at some stage, the exceptions being the massive sets such as the Death Star. With Marvel the figures are normally the main selling point, however their are exceptions such as with the Hulkbuster as others have mentioned. Though similar to Star Wars, the vehicles and main Avengers seem to be getting multiple variations and the Guardians Of The Galaxy sets also, so your best bet would be going for lesser known hero sets like the Ant-Man set in summer. Villains are also less likely to get variations, so they are worth getting also -
[MOC] Stark Industries Armory [Iron Man Hall of Armor]

These armors are all hand painted o_o That is amazing! Love the armory, any plans to do a Malibu Mansion on the top? -
I dont particularly mind the new development for the characters. After all if it is a full reboot then the characters do not have to be the same as they once were. Though i admit the quarrel between the Toa seemed a little force to me at the time and it was not really resolved as to who would be leader, instead with the group being distracted by LoSS. As for the narration, i still dont particularly mind it as it gives the sense the story is being told by a father-figure character to a child, which appears to be the direction of new Bionicle in my eyes, passing down the legend to the new generation. Though i do hope that should we ever get a Bionicle TV series, that it eventually does give the characters individual voice actors, it just helps give them more character in how they speak and their tone. In the meantime their are to listening to a single voice actor voicing the roles, however i suppose its a matter of personal preference.

Marvel Superheroes 2015 Rumors & Discussion
Scarilian replied to CorneliusMurdock's topic in LEGO Licensed
It has been so long D: But yay, can finally respond again :3 First off, got all the sets now other than the Helicarrier, so i'm very pleased about that. War Machine - Black and Silver (Like this) would have included him instead of Iron Man in the Quinjet City Chase. Though i suppose we may get him in Civil War sets Baron Von Strucker - Looking more like the version at the end of Captain America; The Winter Soldier Another Ultron variant - Feel we should have had a variant with a moulded head in order to more accurately represent the drones head piece Bruce Banner - Should have been included instead of Thor in the Attack On Avengers Tower, making both Thor and Hawkeye exclusive to the Hydra Chase set which would have helped sales Dr. Cho - Should have been included as the driver of the Cho truck in the Quinjet City Chase, would have been a good way to give the set a driver Would have also liked MCU Falcon, though apparently he is getting a redesign for Civil War so might see him in those sets. Klaw i hope we will get in Black Panther Lego sets. That was the last AoU set i needed and it arrived today, so not had time to yet. I'd suggest using mixel joint pieces for anyone thinking of shrinking him down. Currently have 12 Ultron drones, getting another 32 sometime this week so that brings my total soon up to 44. Will post pics when the other 32 arrive :) Totally would if i'd had the cash to spare to get the first Quinjet :P Nice seeing a designer here :) Any chance of a UCS Quinjet/Milano soon perhaps? :P I'd personally say that the Milano is the best set for exclusive figures (Drax, Ronan, Gamora, Star Lord variant clothing) and while it was very 'swooshable' i feel like the new Quinjet is the best set in terms of the vehicle despite it being slightly thinner I ended up getting the Milano last year and the 2015 Quinjet a couple of days or so ago, ended up combining the two recently to form the ultimate Quinjet (Now with a better cockpit and a slightly larger hangar and bike area) while retaining the bike function for the moment. I feel that a vehicle with a certain amount of figures should be able to fit all those figures in the vehicle and while the 2015 Quinjet accomplished this to an extent (one in cockpit, one in bike area, one sitting in back) i still feel we do need a UCS Quinjet at some stage. -

People have different opinions on the sets, you dont have to agree with other people's opinions, just respectfully listen to them.. Now, back to discussions; Looking forward to it, i get the feeling we'll see our first glimpse of Vision and possibly a group shot of the Avengers surrounded by an Ultron Army :3 I plan on upgrading it, but it requires getting another version of the set so leaving it a little till hopefully VIP points on the 14th... after that its waiting for delivery, but i shall post pics when the modding has been done :3 Avengers Tower; One to two more layers, bulking it out a little. On first glance that looks to be two sets combined, but after looking at it more closely its either three sets combined or he had some spare pieces. -
Yeah, hope we get sneak peaks of those also... looking forward to Grievous.

Personally i never got why they would refer to things as bears, cows or birds. To me that always seemed to acknowledge that their were things they generally referred to as regular cows, bears and birds, which always seemed odd to me given the language. Though i do agree, that they could have probably just used basic terms such as lava bird, flame bear, magma cow or stuff like that. Personally i can understand Basher, Slicer and Warrior as all being a generic example of a non-specific skeleton army member, but Grinder should have really had a name. Maybe he does and its being kept obscured or something, similar to how the set labels Ekimu as Mask Maker... Yep, i'd bet that is the case with Bionicle. They'll refer to it as magic when it happens, but in truth it'll be incredibly advanced technology and science :P Which was yours? :3

Get anything? :3 Might be best you do, as nobody is selling Ultimate Ultron or Vision on Bricklink at the moment... -
Well, technically the books may chance things regarding their impact story-wise. I mean, they could develop the story for example (speculating here) 'Lord Of Skull Spiders turns out to be one of the ancient guardians of the city, a creature as old as time that has been their for thousands of years. A creature tamed by Ekimu to guard the city in the event of his death and to prevent anyone entering the city other than the Toa. Over time the lord of spiders slowly forgetting his duty and becoming animalistic, turning upon the inhabitance of the once great city, preventing anyone from entering or leaving. Gaining control of a large army of Skull Spiders, creatures inhabiting the Skulls of Protectors that had fallen in battle with ancient warriors, The Lord Of Skull Spiders attempted to guard the entire island from any threats. With his Skull Spider army he sought out the Golden Masks and saught to protect them from all foes, however by then he had forgotten his duty

I was one of the many people to talk about it, i was not the one to bring it up on its own, i merely discuss the topic at the time as with everyone else here. Nobody is pretending that i was not talking about the Vahi. I based my prior comment entirely on your statement of the qoute and how you phrased it, as such in this case it is not their fault but your own. How you phrased it was left up to interpretation which i tried to point out. Even with you apparently writing down the exact wording of what was said, based off your phrasing and wording of the events it left several options for what the official wording could mean which i tried to explain for you. As for the TTV thing, once again, just because they had an opinion doesnt mean that their opinion is automatically what caused everyone else to think of it. You value people on this message board so low that you dont even believe they have independent thought, its honestly disgusting. Firstly, you telling things from memory IS an interpretation of the events. The slandering which you did was intentionally bringing up events that may not have happened in order to discredit them, claiming that got the NYCC tickets via making accounts for instance, claiming that everyone on here who thinks the Vahi might be involved in G2 is simply following what TTV said, etc... Its all a bunch of nonsense really. Its like you dont understand that people can come to the conclusion by themselves. In which case i would view you as the only misguided one here, you are so cemented in your belief's about TTV is the source of people having an opinion that the Vahi, that its blinded your judgement. You dont seem to understand people have their own opinions and thoughts and you still dont seem to realise that this conversation has been over since your first comment. I talked about the Vahi because it was the topic at hand, i was not the one to bring it up this time or the several times prior. Issue is you've got it into your head somehow that the Vahi thing means nothing. Whether that is right or wrong. So despite people other than me wanting to speculate about the Vahi and its potential meaning, you just dont let them. You claim they simply got the opinion from TTV, slander TTV and then the conversation ends without reaching a proper resolution where all members involved feel their opinion has been shared. As for why its going round in circles, the Vahi is the only thing we get new around here. We've seen the Summer sets and they released a new animation with the Vahi, so the topic went to that. Its less going round in circles and more a natural progression of how news works, people wanted to discuss something other than the summer sets so the topic chances and evolves to cover whatever is new at the time, more often than not its the animations. New members also naturally bring up the Vahi because its obviously in the animations as an Easter Egg, so they either point it out or speculate about it. Listen, if you want to continue this further take it to PM's, because once again, i dont care anymore. You've made talking about anything on here or even speculating a chore for EVERYONE on these boards because it means another drawn out conversation with you're bigoted mind. I just want to talk about other stuff without having to deal with you're nonsense and honestly i seem to be the only one out of the two of us who is trying to move on from this topic without draging this out over multiple pages ¬.¬ I would'nt be suprised if due to the popularity of that character amongst the G1 and G2 fanbase we end up getting a similar character eventually... a man can dream :P

I believe their was something said about keeping the new story focused on the main current toa team, however i would like to see a Takanuva style character, whether it be the same Takanuva or a different Seventh Toa or whatever. Just honestly think the team needs a seventh member to help bring order to the elements and introduce a new toa character for G2

You asked about the April Calendar, its out now; Linky link link Chances are it'll be sometime soon, most likely in a video. Though i'd advise checking emails, etc... -
I think the idea is keeping the story simple for kids without giving them tons of complex terms. Sacrificing technical character names for everyone and everything other than the main Toa enables (in theory) for anyone to jump into the story at any point. I mean even Ekimu looses his name for the Summer set also, either to avoid spoiling people or because the name itself is complex for kids to learn. I suppose maybe the books will give characters, places and other aspects names... but the main storyline will likely be incredibly simplified concerning names with no other characters named other than the main cast of the Toa, Ekimu and Makuta.

Yeah, Grievous worries me. I'm ok with the arms and legs if they look terrible, i just really want the body and mask to look good with him. So many possibilities for a custom Mask Of Control with the Grievous mask... Glad we had similar ideas, interested to see how yours turns out (Upload pics when done) Mine will most likely be a mix between Legends Of Metru Nui and G2, just basically fiddling around with the size and scale. Yeah, hopefully they reveal Grievous soon :3 You've already proven you have some kind of grudge via constantly complaining, slandering and insulting TTV when the topic is over. The conversation has moved on and to be honest, everyone is trying to ignore your hate speech and general slander of TTV The situation with them using false accounts whether true or not is not what the Bionicle 2015 discussion is meant to be discussing. 'The truth being your own singular interpretation of your thoughts on the Vahi, which you feel the need to constantly refrence and insult others who dont agree as being misguided.' I feel the necessity to once agian remind you that your own interpretation of your thoughts about the Vahi situation are not confirmed either, they are opinions. Nobody here is right or wrong until the situation has been adressed, and even then whatever is wrote now will still have just been speculation. I swear, its like you believe that nobody other than you has any opinions of their own and thus is a sheep only able to copy what TTV says ¬.¬ We are not pretending i have no role on their site, i'm an admin for the boards, i admit that. Though the fact is it doesnt mean jack in the scheme of things. It doesnt have any relevance and thats why i didnt bring it up. I do not flaunt my position because it is not something you flaunt, i just clear-up the boards of spam and that is it. Its the same with you, your position on BZPower means nothing here, i dont think you automatically follow the opinions of BZPower and i dont throw you in with them either. I view you as a person, not a mindless drone of some kind. Just because i admin on a message boards It doesnt mean i agree with everything TTV members or fans say, and the reason why i didnt bring it up was because it is not important in the slightest to any of my views on here. It isnt important, just like your connection to BZPower isnt important here. This is Eurobricks and i just want to be able to voice my own opinion respectfully without you now targetting me for the upteenth time despite former reports and warnings from staff because my opinion disagrees with yours. Now you are continuing a discussion everyone including myself is sick-of and wanting to move on from, and throwing hate speech into it while slandering another website that has nothing to do with Eurobricks or my opinions here. (Now, can we just get back to discussing stuff like regular people, because once again, this tangent is ridiculous and tedious)

I'm waiting for Double VIP points (If they happen) on March 14th. That should get me enough VIP points to get some of the summer sets i desire also Most likely 5, maybe more later. Plan on replicating the poster with all the Ultrons (Though mine will sadly be blue rather than red as Ultron Prime is too expensive to get a ton of) :3 No pics of the calendar yet, its on the Lego website apparently but it isnt viewable because the site is derping. Yet here are the promotions and stuff. April Promotions; LEGO VIP members will have early access to the LEGO store exclusive #71016 LEGO The Simpsons Kwik-E-Mart. (There is also going to be a second series of LEGO Simpsons Collectible Minifigs, but I’m not sure about when.) Also, LEGO Pirates, LEGO Marvel Super Heroes, and LEGO Speed Champions get released. The promotional set this month is a free LEGO Ninjago Kai Drifter. Courtesy of here -
If you order the pack by itself or with another Hero pack then chances are it will be delivered via post rather than courrier, that was why it took so long for us. Patience and it'll arrive, probably will take about a week or so though. As for the lack of promotion, guessing the site hasnt updated fully, as their are March sets missing also (AOU is missing two sets from the UK Site) Yeah, the only issue with that i feel is that the current CCBS system doesnt have enough CCBS parts to make it unlimited, i suppose you can combine it with technic but on its own the CCBS system is limited heavily at the moment. If you only brought the Protectors for example you could'nt creative anything as complex as any of the designer MoC's or the BFTGM entries. Is not really the fault of the system, just that its in too early a stage to allow for unlimited creativity if people are only using the Bionicle sets from 2015.
