The issue i'm worried with these ideas entries is that they are focusing too much on the prospect of the Doctor or his companion. Personally i will be interested to see how they make the villains, they are easily much more complex and interesting than the heroes. A lot of my desire to get the sets comes from the villains rather than the Doctor or companion. Definitely desire the following if this becomes a theme; - Sontaran Could probably use the same design as the Lego Hockey Player, would need a new helmet but other than that it'd be perfect - Cybermen Just needs a moulded helmet. Iron Man helmet would probably do with a new face, already has a Cybus logo on it... - Daleks Would need to be an entirely new several piece mould, swivelling guns or head would be good with interchangable weapons being an added bonus. Making the lower half a seperate piece with Lego pieces would allow for a Davros figure - Ice Warrior Very recogniseable villian, just needs a moulded helmet. - Sycorax Not doing the Sycorax would be a massive waste, especially as its one of the best to go with Tennant. Only needs a new helmet mould - Judoon Same as the Sontarans, just needs a new helmet mould and the Hockey Player armour All of those would be amazing army builders and definitely a massive shame if Lego didnt make these. Either way, look forward to seeing the monster and villains, hopefully we see them soon :3 Personally i'd desire a nanofigure scale UCS Gallifrey. Words cannot contain the hype that set would make amongst the Doctor Who community more so than the Tardis or even the Daleks. Could also throw in Rassilon, Susan and the 1st Doctor Decided to delve into this as been hearing a lot about it and was under the same impression for a while. Basically their hasnt been any outward comments on whether they have to use the Daleks yearly but its believed to be part of either a contract they signed to have use of the Daleks or the BBC forcing them into the show every season because they have to pay-up a certain amount regardless of if they use them. Given the character designs Daleks, i doubt Lego would have much of an issue manufacturing figures of them.

I knew the page was fan-run, but i thought these were official things regardless that fans were finding. Also, their was the following which was updated over several days providing more information about Okoto; Have we got any confirmation on who made these then if they are supposed to be non-official?

Thats really disappointing, was hoping for black as it would have made it look militarised. I understand its show accurate, just the box art got me hyped :L -

This seems the best option, give it a week or two after the sets are out and you'll probably be able to pick them up cheap. Most likely a few of them, though not that many as i dont think they have enough detail on them. In addition, are they black shirted? On the box art they are wearing black but the figure on display was wearing blue :( -

I suppose so, though i'd be confused as to how two members of the same species as the rest would seemingly be immortal without anything to differentiate them. The idea of them being a different species that perhaps has a longer life span in theory fixes that issue.

Given the recent deal between Marvel and Sony, could it be possible Lego has to re-do the deal concerning the movie rights for TASM2 which is delaying release of the polybag then? -
Not sure why you dislike the idea of a Toa Ekimu, would be nice to have another Ekimu set that perhaps has more exclusives. After all, chances are we'll just get the Toa again otherwise. Also given the Mask Makers are apparently a different species to the Protectors and Villagers (Given their have been multiple generations of Protectors and Villagers while Ekimu/Makuta are apparently still alive) the chances of Ekimu/Makuta being a similar species to the Toa is pretty high. So maybe the rumors are correct...

True i guess, just would be a little disappointing if one of the winning entries turned out to be one of the many speakers currently entered into the contest or something Lego made :P

Marvel Superheroes 2015 Rumors & Discussion

Depending on where you live its already been out i think. Pretty sure the US got it as a Toysrus exclusive. It was also given out at Kids Fest in Virginia. As far as my quick google search contributed, i could'nt find any UK release of the polybag. -
I guess it will be restricted so you can only win one toa and one golden mask at most. What i am more concerned about is the amount of non-rule abiding entries i've been seeing such as one dude who just put a hat on or someone else who took a photo of a bohrok as entrants, yet were somehow both accepted by the Lego group on facebook. I thought the idea of the competition was go out and see structures or enviromental things, something which was focused on in the video, but instead its just people photographing outlets and speakers and themselves or their pets or official media or their toys and entering them. I mean, i know i cant be the only one who has qualms with this right? It just seems people are entering whatever they find rather than putting much thought into it. Just annoys me that despite these seemingly not being the style of entry Lego wanted people to make, they are still being allowed and could win ¬.¬

Huh, hope you reveal details soon. Yeah, total coincidence on the Scarlet Witch posing. Though i saw your flickr and ended up replicating the Quick Silver effect you did, probably going to use something like that for the poster replication :3 Was hoping they would have Thor hit the ball into orbit or something so they lose it, then we could have had Cap throw his shield for Thor to hit :P Just a guess, but i'd say we'll probably get a Marvel polybag related promotion when the Ant-Man set is released. -
Thanks for the clarification, 36 winners definitely seems to be a great competition. Though does that means one would need to enter 36 seperate images (6 elemental faces, 6 different versions, 6 images per week) in order to maximise chances of winning?

Modded Quick Silver (Zod legs) Modded Quick Silver (Superman legs) Modded Scarlet Witch (with powers) Avengers Assembled; -
I think its the general idea that with an email adress or name you can find out a lot about people, that generally scares parents who prevent their kids from using facebook, twitter or otherwise because they are panicked by what they generally see or hear on TV (Being extreme examples of what might happen) Only issue i'm noticing with this whole idea is that its fundamentally flawed. If you enter a red face and someone has already won a Tahu the previous week, could you still win a Tahu that week or are they giving out one of each toa? Meaning that if you enter a red face after a Tahu is given out then you are'nt elligible to win that week because the set has been given out. If they are giving out one of each Toa then you'd need to make a different entry every week to correspond to the Toa... and if they dont explain which Toa they are giving away each week then you'd have to enter 6 times in each week to cover each variation. Then you have to question whether you can post the same entry for multiple weeks or whether you can only enter the entry once, if its only once then you'd have to make 36 seperate photo's (6 of each mask element) overall, just so that you could enter every week to maximise your chance of winning. (I have checked the rules regarding this and its not specified either, so not sure the situation regarding mask entrants corresponding to chances to win) Similar to the Mask Of Light i'd like some variations of the Mask Of Creation for the purpose of using the mask as hands - A black and red version of the mask to represent that its been corrupted by evil - A silver or gray version of the mask to represent that its been drained of power I'd also like the villains masks for the summer to come in a single colour also, such as a black or silver.

I think it might be best making a seperate topic for that, though you could pm a staff member. Sometimes if its related then it can be posted here i think, similar to people's mods to the Hulkbuster and to the Avengers Tower. Not entirely sure though -
Contest sounds nice, seems they are giving out all the toa masks. Wonder if you might win a mask varying on what elemental face you enter... The fact that their will be 36 winners is impressive and definitely a good reason to enter :3 Its probably best to enter once in each of the weeks, with a varying elemental face each time 6 Winners of the week will be chosen among the entries received between March 30 – April 5. 6 Winners of the week will be chosen among the entries received between April 6 – April 12. 6 Winners of the week will be chosen among the entries received between April 13 – April 19. 6 Winners of the week will be chosen among the entries received between April 20 – April 26. 6 Winners of the week will be chosen among the entries received between April 27 – May 3. 6 Winners of the week will be chosen among the entries received between May 4 – May 10. 6 Overall Winners will be chosen among the 36 weekly winners of the week that submitted their entries between March 30 and May 10. Yeah, worried about that aspect also. Can easily see someone finding a bunch of face-looking images online and entering them all. Is there a limit to entries? I was tempted to do that, however ended up seeing the Ultron Sentrys and decided upon making an army of them :P The community still exists to an extent, its just changed and is not what it used to be as many older members have moved on from Bionicle at this stage. Hopefully Greivous will be good, i believe he's the most expensive set and has more parts than Vader... so finger crossed... wonder when we'll see images of those...

Favourite Ultron is the Ultron Sentry's, i feel the blue looks more creepy than the red. Favourite new character is probably one of the Ultron variants also... Seems we are both heading for the same amount and goal, got the other 32 arriving soon hopefully so i'll be at 42 soon enough. As for replicating the poster... you need 47 at minimum to get the effect working -

Indeed, Lego sets and figures are normally based off concept art. Chances are we wont see Civil War sets till early next year, maybe get a list of set names around November if we are lucky (Though i imagine Civil War sets will have more secrecy due to potential casualties) Didnt the box art have 'concept art' on it, so their is the possibility the head print is not finalised...? -
I think that member was more trying to point out that sometimes these sets are brought for very young age ranges and a young kid may not appreciate or handle a golden masks very well or may not even notice its actual value (in terms of it being something special) :P

Marvel Superheroes 2015 Rumors & Discussion

In terms of accuracy i think Scarlet Witch is incredibly accurate other than her hair. Quick Silver definitely has the better facial print and torso print. Though the lack of leg printing i think weakens the figure, especially when sets are now getting split leg printing and arm printing >< -
This series seems like a mix between Pharaoh's quest and Monster Hunters and to an extent that works. The sets are well designed and serve their function, so why be innovative with them when they can simply rehash elements of what we already had. The most noteable examples being, The Mystery Plane Adventures set = essentially our version of Flying Mummy Attack from Pharaoh's Quest with a similar vehicle design AND Mystery Mansion = essentially our version of Vampyre Castle from Monster Fighters with a similar main tower design. Though one of my main issues with the sets sadly falls on the colour schemes. The big set of the wave, Mystery Mansion looks amazing, but the colours and cartoony clock ruin the 'dark vibe' presented by the villains. I suppose they want a balance between cartoony and scary, but it ends up leaning a little too much towards cartoony. The only set that blends the two well in my mind is the Mummy Museum Mystery which ignores the comedic elements. This seems like a rejected idea for a Pharaoh's Quest set that got jumbled in, which is odd because its one of the two best sets in the line (The other being the Mystery Machine) Sadly i feel the focus is more on collecting all the gang when it really should have been on the monsters, nobody really desires to have an army of Scooby Doo characters, yet getting every set gives you; - 5 Scooby Doo's - 5 Shaggy's - 2 Daphne - 1 Velma - 1 Fred Yet this is only the first wave in what i hope will end up getting more sets, i feel like the market will be flooded with Scooby's. Though i do hope we get some more iconic villains in future such as; - A mine entrance with Miner Forty-Niner - A set with Tar Monster - A ghostly pirate ship set with the Ghost of Captain Cutler and Redbeard's Ghost - A big set with the 10,000 Volt Ghost and some Skeleton Men

I think Thor works the best, followed by Quick Silver, then Captain America -
I think just a simple 'share this post to win' sort of deal would be the best option, as it would allow virtually everyone to enter and the draw could be randomised. It would also help promote awareness of Bionicle online, which is something they need for the first year of the new series. I'm not too much of a fan of the competitions nowadays due to how the building contest went down, but either way, hope the next way to win will be more fair to every entrant. Yeah, that seems unlikely due to the reasons you mentioned. While it could work in theory, it has a lot of variables that mean it could be unfair to some locations and people hoping to win the item. Rather than put the mask in the box, they could always do a 'print' on the inside of the box and you'd have to enter a code online to see if you've won... but once again, feel like it'd be a thing of which location recieves the set in the first place.
