  1. I thought that version of Wolverine already had brown hands. Why'd you give him the other ones?
  2. I was looking at the new sets recently and I found the part used for the back of Ekimu's hammer in transparent orange in a Nexo Knights set. Lego really needs to find an excuse to make that part in transparent purple so those of us who built a mask maker Makuta can have the right color hammer head. I came up with a pretty good, in my opinion, way to have both spikes on the back of his hammer, but I don't have a stud shooter as the head, which I don't see as a problem, because that version of Ekimu's hammer was supposed to be a rebuild anyway.
  3. That's an interesting idea that I'd like to see done, as that's the version that I have. Are the yellows and browns the same, though? I'm not sure. That's an awesome idea for YLB's weapon, that I'll probably use along with the two part ring I gave mine. I used a transparent right angle grip piece with a translucent yellow stud for his ring, and gave an identical one to Sinestro, and one with a translucent green stud to Hal.
  4. Does anyone have any ideas on the best hair for the newer blue Nightwing figure? I don't think the spiked hair really works for it, so I tried Thor's hair in black, and I think that kind of works, but another idea was Tony Stark's hair, also in black, which might also work for red Nightwing as well. The idea for Thor's hair in black came from different cartoons, like Teen Titans (when Starfire visits the future), and the idea for Tony Stark's black hairpiece came from images from the comics that I found online.
  5. Is S&F Polished not a good idea, or were you just being general?
  6. It looks to me like the villager scale one might be closer to the dimensions of the one from the Flickr images of the different titans. I might just get a couple of that size, once it's closer to the one from those images, and forget about the titan scale one altogether.
  7. I'm waiting for the Disney Castle book cover to become available (the page already is), as well as the new Han Solo hairpiece. On a non-licensed part note, I'm also waiting on the pin spacer in black, as well as the 2x3 black tile from the Caterham 7.
  8. I like the version with the original horns better, but I actually found out that the angle 5 connector that is used to connect the horns was made in yellow, and I'm curious how that would look in place of the black ones. I think it might make the connectors less obvious.
  9. Thanks, I found them. Pretty cool.
  10. Has anyone made the Judge from Batman TAS? I just saw a YouTube clip of him, and I think it should be pretty easy.
  11. Does anyone have any idea how to position the "arms" that hold the top shells in place on the gold part on his chest in order to make it look like the images?
  12. I used parts from the sets that I had left over from building the figure, so there aren't any extra purchases needed at all. As for Tahu, the only place I could find him was at Barnes & Noble, so check there.
  13. Most of the parts of the Makuta build are pretty easy to see in the images we were shown, but there are some things that are unclear, and some things that could perhaps be improved. I had the idea to start this discussion because I didn't see anyone else talking about it. One of the hardest things for me to notice was how they attached the 3M axle with the stud on the end, but after studying the image of the back of the neck, I realized they used this piece to do it, pushing the axle through from the back, so that's what I'm doing now. One of the alterations I made to the model was because of potential stress on parts. The images called for this piece to be placed both behind and in front of the heels of the silver feet, but the one behind would cause stress on the connectors used because of the placement of other parts right up against it, so I changed that one to this piece, which causes no stress on neighboring or connecting parts. The part is invisible on the completed model, and is not called for anywhere else, as well. I replaced the regular 4M axles connecting the small feet to the big feet with 4M axles with a stopper, because at one point I thought that the black Bohrok eye pieces had fallen off of the regular axles (I later found them in the bin of parts from all the sets I used to make my Makuta model), so I wanted to prevent that from happening, and those pieces are now going nowhere. I also placed one of these on the inside end of the connector used inside the drill, to prevent that drill piece from sliding up the axle in the same way the half bushes, gear, and connector piece stop it from sliding down. I hope you've found these helpful, and I hope you'll share any observations or alterations you've made concerning the model as well.
  14. Can you take a scan or picture of the page with the actual instructions for Agil? I just want to be sure I got the build right, though there's really not much to get wrong.I actually did a similar thing to my Ekimu's leg, but all the pieces I used were in black, so it would blend in better. I didn't use that half-width piece with the two axle holes on mine, instead opting for just a single clip piece through the outside rear hole of the mount piece. I thought that would simplify any transfer process. The clip pieces are also really difficult to remove from the mount piece, in my experience.
  15. I wanted to retain the same color used on the official figure. I usually do that when I change hairstyles on figures.
  16. I don't think I mentioned before that I made my Supergirl into the CBS/CW version by putting BBT Penny's hair on her.
  17. I really like that torso on your Black Widow, Bingo. Where is that from? I might use it so my CW Black Widow has a different outfit from my AoU one.
  18. I think we were talking about that earlier, when I proposed using Beast Boy's torso and legs to make a TT universe Doom Patrol. I got a bunch of BB's legs, and I got a jaw piece that was suggested, but I just need the torso, a good Negative Man head, and maybe that Zane's head, as well as a gold muscle torso that was suggested. Oh, and parts for Elastigirl, too.
  19. I forgot to mention that the Batman '66 cowl was in stock when I made my order, so I got one.
  20. I just made an order, and I found BvS Superman's legs in stock, as well as most of the other dual molded unprinted legs.
  21. Darn, I just made an order. I guess I'll be making another one soon.
  22. Thanks. I think I like that better than the one it comes with. As a side note, I also swapped the hands on mine, and I think that looks better too.
  23. Can I add a request to see Sinestro with black Draco Malfoy hair too? Neutral expression as well.
  24. I like the Rocka head, because it seems like C3PO's head gets used for every robot character. The only thing I'd change is I'd give him a black or white, or maybe red, head underneath, because he has visible eyes and the inside of his mouth is a different color too. Everything else you came up with for him is pretty great.
