  1. Pirate Auction ending today!
  2. @Ayrlego Unless I drink too much you have probably won the Lady Jacqueline even though I really wanted it . 1000 DB was my limit. Now lets wait for the inevitable bids from Oleon...
  3. Is that a dwarf bread reference? Thats surely some impressive bread!
  4. @LM71Blackbird Good idea, but perhaps you can fine-tune the shape a bit more. Right now you have the following pattern: 1-1-1-1-1-2-6-1-3-4-3-3-4-7-2-1-1. The ends are just fine, but the middle doesn't "flow" right. Going with 1-1-1-1-1-2-3-5-7-6-4-3-3-2-1-1 or at least something along the lines of that would look much much better. Make sure that the widest part of the vessel is the longest section and you are good to go.
  5. It did get sister shipped after being lost in November. Currently not. Someone (might have been me) has forgotten adding that line.
  6. So, under the new system the Supreme was never licensed under the original name, but has been sister shipped after the November MRCA(we need a way to keep track of sister shipping mocs, I have a feeling some are flying under the radar). Then it got captured by LeColeon a while back (and now its up for auction finally).
  7. I'll doublecheck. I think we had agreed on that, unless the previous owner gets it again (and it already was a sistership) it shouldn't count towards the limit (same with captured vessels really). But you are free to start a discussion in court about this
  8. Seems to have worked now No idea what was going on. It was a sistership indeed, but that doesn't matter for vessels won in an auction if I remember correctly. Also, you can probably have the Supreme now, 300 was my limit for that one Quick note on why I want everyone to note they have bid - its just to prevent inactive players from being used to place high bids. You don't have to comment every time
  9. Small Schooner was also my thought. Maybe there is something interesting in this thread? Though an armed cutter with lots of canvas would also be interesting...
  10. Corrected. Yes. I like class 4 vessels, especially good looking ones Also placed a couple bids. I have a lot of DBs to burn
  11. Your MRCA income will be 1204 DB unless your faction has raised taxes. However, if your ships base upkeep is above a certain tier, you’ll also be charged upkeep.
  12. The ones that have a microbuild and are linked have a build I will edit it in the starting post then. Also placed some bids earlier
  13. Bid using this form - whatever you enter would be what you pay! Look at the auctions current prices here! it would be appreciated if you note that you bid on something right here! Auction closes Sunday, 20th May, at 23 GMT If you have vessels to add pm me! All mocced vessels are linked to their MOC - those without links are not mocced! _____________________ it had been a couple days since the ball in King's Harbour, and many of those visiting were still around - or had at least left a representative in the town. In the Harbour, a small Merchant vessel had arrived, showing a white flag. A Corlander guard approached the vessel. "Aye, I'm a ship broker! I've been tasked by various people to sell the vessels they captured and don't have a use for! As I couldn't get the vessels here, I've brought models and information about their location! You'll have to send someone to pick them up. I've heard many pirates promise not to attack those coming to pick up a prize, if, in turn, they weren't attacked either. And thus, a day later, the auction starts. First on the list - The Defiance! Captured carefully by Harrison Torn, she is now sitting together with The Athena on Baskers Island, just waiting to be picked up by the lucky winner! Next up - The Athena, same location, same seller. Terraversa also has something to sell! Their recently captured FTA The Gargoyle! This fine little vessel is located in Trador, just waiting! Now, for the Corries here - you might be glad to hear, the crew of the Lady Jacqueline is doing well! Captain Bluebeard, however, wants to work on his reputation - you get the crew with the ship! Together with the crew of the HMS Proserpine! However, we've heard of a massive fleet protecting the harbour - so don't just sail in to Calisto to pick her up without actually winning her in this auction! HMS Proserpine is also up for auction! Next - ships that have found their way to Tortuga! We have the Tuna King and Cotton Lady - both brought there by LeColeon! Beyond that - this wasn't all in Tortuga! We also have the Supreme here - Montroy brought it there. Lastly, we have a couple vessels where we didn't receive the models in time for the auctions. We wish that these sellers would be faster at this! Misfortune's Wrath - Alexport. Captured and sold by Romantica. Blood and Guts and Butcher - both captured by @Legostone and now located in Bardo! Ship stats for the captured vessels: Ships: Class Range Maneuver Guns Crew Cargo Hull Blood and Guts 4 4 3 4 3 1 3 Butcher 2 4 3 1 3 1 0 Cotton Lady 3 3 3 1 1 6 1 HMS Proserpine 5 5 4 6 4 0 2 Lady Jacqueline 4 4 5 1 1 5 2 Misfortune's Wrath 5 4 4 4 4 1 4 The Defiance 3 4 3 1 1 4 2 Tuna King 3 3 4 1 1 4 2 Supreme 3 3 3 2 1 5 1 The Athena 2 3 2 1 1 3 2 FTA the Gargoyle 3 4 6 0 0 4 1 Bid using this form - whatever you enter would be what you pay! Look at the auctions current prices here! it would be appreciated if you note that you bid on something right here!
  14. That would be amazing!
  15. Wow, that looks great! Ships that size are always difficult to finish! Looking forward to future progress!
  16. https://web.archive.org/web/20140704184107/http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showforum=56 I wonder if there is a way to get this theme back with the new forum software, or at least something similar. @Phred Is there anyone left with knowledge how to set these up? Or is there anyone around who could do something? Who owns the assets from the old theme? Maybe @Bonaparte also has an idea?
  17. I believe the one responsible for the unique design (Mr Phes) was very busy with work and hasn‘t returned since. @Phred probably knows more.
  18. Damn, you told my secret of Kieg! Now I have to find a new port to visit every second MRCA
  19. Given that currently properties can't be lost, and after the 5 months its permanent income, I dare calling it quick ROI. Just look at some long-time players - @Elostirion can speak for himself what ROI means in this game.
  20. The whole troop system is gonna be changed very soon, and to my knowledge armies were always intended to be used by the richest of the rich - the factions themselves. Many longterm players could already afford to keep a regiment afloat for a long, long time now, and 300 troops are already quite impressive. The MRCA is a really good active source of income - land properties are a slow, steady income (a 5 month ROI isn't bad either). As for large ships - they are meant to be uncommon - we have 1 class 10, 6 class 8, 25 class 7, 25 class 6, 58 class 5, 52 class 4, 56 class 3, 54 class 2, 21 class 1 and 12 class 0 vessels. If you look at real stuff its also gonna be expensive the larger it gets - and keeping it intact is also gonna get more expensive. (yes I know this is coming someone who has been able to fairly reliably get 2000-3000 DBs per MRCA - it took me a while to get to this. Honestly - I'm surprised nobody except for DukeSC has decided to go for half a dozen class 2 vessels for his MRCA ventures, I suspect that could work well if they take care of all the smaller, undersupplied ports (going to large undersupplied ports has also proven effective, but its far more difficult finding those)) Also a quick note - current upkeep rules are outdated, and we have been trying to find a well balanced system. Actual rules will be published very soon, but its far more forgiving then the original system. I'm not gonna say much about the part before that - its just how it stays balanced. And no, you haven't lost money by building - you have invested in something with a really quick ROI. You can still do it - you joined later then most, but you still have time to catch up. Nobody is stopping you from building more builds then you can license and save those for exam season or other times when you are busy. You can also build multiple smaller vessels instead of more land properties, we don't have a limit how many vessels you can license per month (and if anyone wants to change that I'll fight them for it!) For the last two paragraphs - if you guys want to message me and tell me what is wrong with Leadership (I'll keep that information to myself unless you want me to share parts of it) and how we can solve this, I would gladly help out. I would rather get a peaceful solution then scare away people with drama in some of the most important topics.
  21. select the text, click the link button and use remove link (might have to try it a couple times, it seems bit buggy) Great Ketch you have there, I need to give those curved slopes a try as well!
  22. He often disappears for a couple of months, and has someone else take care of his vessels for the time being. He is online on Skype now, so I'm not too worried.
  23. 3 land based properties by the same builder can be licensed per month. @Bart
  24. Losing a class 7 after losing a pair of class 3s and a class 2 the previous MRCA as well as a class 5 before that... As someone who is currently unable to do much building it kinda sucks losing ship after ship. And licensing the half dozen warships I have unlicensed wouldn’t really help since I would rather get more trade going...
  25. Argh, what is it with my bad luck lately? I think I’ve lost at least one vessel for all MRCAs with the new system :/ I really don’t like sistershipping builds, there is only so much to do for that, especially as someone who doesn’t like land based building
