Very nice find! And thanks a lot for the teaser pictures, hinckley!! *y* the idea with the small plane on the tank and the minirobot is just what makes this set cool, also the color looks way more nice than on the prototype! (or is it just the super deformed action shot??) but two things... (this might be the wrong place, I know....) - why is there no single girl in the EF line? I mean... animes are full of girls, perhaps one, TLC? please..... 8-| - the EF things get more and more.... non - anime - looking.....! or is it just me? If I bought this, I would surely use the parts to make a more manga-looking tank... :-D But so far, cannot wait for a review! (not only for the pics but for the funny stories... :-) ) zzz out. :-)

I wasn't buying any city since a long time, but this is so.... *wub* *wub* (and ..perhaps.. I am going to get it!) (it fits into my 70s style try-to-make-a-lego-city) yeah it looks blocky!! I actually like that. and it looks really realisitc, not like 7903 which was a bit too <insert that tiresome argument> for my taste.. I liked 7044 a lot but didn't get it and this one is even better! But why is it not in the european january lineup? Is it exclusive? US only? TRU only? :'-( That wouldn't be too nice... Hope I can get it in the lego store at least... or at S@H.... And I wonder if it will be in the european club magazine...? Thanks a lot for the picture! *y* But I still cannot figure out what piece is taken from the jumbo jets..? :-)

Are Scala Elements in a 'System' Creation Legal?
Zzz replied to SirNadroj's topic in General LEGO Discussion
I an speak only for myself but... I really don't like using big elements like scala or bionicle in system mocs. Because, well.. I don't even like it in the official sets. It is too confusing for me to see bionicle parts in my exoforce robots! I changed them and sometimes I am not interested in new mechs cause of the bionicle parts.. it is just me, I know.. but I am oldfashioned and grew up with 80s lego, my minifigs shouldn't be scared 8- -
also for me it was: too sweet... *wub* and it was not only my first sw set but my first lego in a lot of years... dark age off! :-)
-
I like the MM line only for the minifigs... *wub* ( I mean minifigs, not these.. these... "things" ! ) and because I never give up hope... I hope the switch fighter will seat 2 figs... hopefully... I don't like it that all MM vehicles can sit ONLY 1 minifig! Even the shuttle! >:-( How did they come to mars??? ... emm yep... I just love shuttles... I want my people to travel together! :-D so... as others here stated, perhaps I will get the impulse things and BL some funny heads for my astronauts.. wrong topic here, but does anyone know with what head the impulse astronaut comes with? :-)
-
yeah.... the Kubrick influence... hontono ;-)
-
??? 8-| (didn't get anything, and I always thought I can speak german... :-D ) I simply LOVE *wub* the french soldier!! very good work!! reminds me a bit of the Kubrick minifigs.... custom lego boots on!
-
Happy Halloween! Where are you from? Cause good deals really depend on where you are from. All these special Target / TRU offers in the US we don't have at all in Europe... For the 7776 - it was available for several months at amazon.de (german) for 20

Well, good topic here! I am graduating at university right now and it is funny when I think about how much money I had as a teen... I had a lot of new video games and so on... right now I am spending like 50

konnichiwa! another japanese speaking EB member?? too nice! welcome!! irashaimase! :-D oh and tell me: you said you like the ninja / samurai line.. but they were in your dark ages... so did you get them all in the past years? ( I find it quite hard to get them misb..... ) :-)
-
yeah.... everything yellow.... EXCEPT all the licenced minifigs...... >:-( grrrrrr
-
Bridgecastle is my favorite...! I LOVE your work... I wish I had that much castle pieces... :'-( too amazing.. you have any idea how much pieces you spent on the bridgecastle?? is it close to 10,000? and what I really like is the fact that you build the buildings and landscapes for your minifigs, to let them have a home, or fight each other or whatever... that is massiv! I always prefer play-areas and the focus on minifigs! It is too sweet and just.... massive...! Thanks a lot for sharing!!! :-)
-
is there anything like this (turning the minifigs yellow) in the ps2 version?? does anyone know?? 8-|

I had these decisions quite a lot of times in my Lego-life. (and still....) And well, I can tell you that the first set that came into your mind should also be the most important to get. So I don't know, you could be into having an assortment but I have to concur with my piraty friends here: leave with a bang! If your dream was always to get the BSB, the EF or (heck) even the ITP.. Do it! :-$ I own the BSB and the EF and in my opinion all the later sets don't come close, except the ITP. We are talking about the 1st league of pirates here. So may the parrot be with you in making a wise decision! :-)

A working water cannon!!! I cannot believe it.. *wub* I had one as a child, and I had lots of Lego.. But having it now together is like a dream come true! It must be awesome fun to play with that monster..! Thanks a lot for sharing and for the pictures! :-) oh... and I simply love vehicles that fit several minifigs... and the door is magic! Sweet!!
-
Thanks a lot for the big an bright pictures, legomilk!! I loved to see the big Indy pics! And I wonder what minor changes will be made to the "real" sets coming out. The vehicles are massiv... and once again... I wonder already about getting the Temple Escape... The set is a bit crappy in my opinion but has this wonderful plane *wub* (which undergone a few changes from the video game trailer) and very nice and unique figures and pieces! So it might be I have to get all of them.. sooner or later and for a reasonable price.. but I know the day Indy sets are coming to my local Lego store - I HAVE to buy one to get that whippy Jones!! *sweet* SW... mmm... not a huge fan of PT or AU or Stormis... so there is the Rebel Troopers for my collection left!! I love to get them finally! *wub* Other things I liked are the Creator house and helicopter, the city forklift (comes with crappy truck) and the River Dragon from ExoForce! :-)
-
same to me.. I have the feeling that I only like Ryos Robots... and I would like to have a third figure, .... so I hope for other good sets next year! I have only 2 exoforce sets from the very beginning, but this one seems promising! cockpit looks nice! :-)
-
safari for me! *wub* (works good and better than explorer *wacko* on my old vaio... but firefox wasn't that bad also....) :-)
-
did anyone else notice.... - the "confidential" stickers on the box images? - that 7621 has a lower set number but more pieces than 7622? - that the box size of 7623 is REALLY strange? Did they make a deal with the post services? funny things... ;-) in 7623.... there are - Indy - Belloq - a skelly - (ONLY ONE) indian :-( , - (obviously) a pilot for the water biplane - another figure running in front of the spears????? or is it just my imagination? black hair, tan top, white trousers? anyone? Indys comrade with all the spiders on the back perhaps? or am I crazy? |-/
-
that is Rene Belloq, Indys personal enemy in Raiders... (and the guy behind the machine gun) ;-) I LOVE these sets.... looks quite promising.... even if I would have liked another hat for Sean Connery.. mm... whatever... + the water-airplane from Raiders! (hope it includes the snake.. :-D )
-
merde.. when I was in france I went to Quick quite often... and there was never Lego... we get only crap in the Burger King meals here... (crap that my sister loves if it was Happy feet or something... :-| ) and the helicopter.... boy this IS a small helicopter...! :-D
-
they are usually japanese, as this one.. (don't want to be mr smarty pants, just noticed...) and thanks for the vig, UB - your minifigs are sooo cool!!! :-D Takeshis Castle is really old, but one of the coolest examples for stupid japanese shows - ("beat" Takeshi Kitano was the best comedian of the nation before he became a serious actor) :-)
