didn't get too much from the video... hard to see... but it seems impossible in my opinion to create an interior without letting the whole thing collaps.. what do you think? ... but I know... once some pics of a real interior will appear, I will kick my behind not to have bought it... 8-

I really hope they ain't gonna use the (aka this) dirtbike for the Indy sets!! It is nice but it is so not 1930s or 1940s style... no? oh - and thanks for the review! lots of pics...! :-)

many is said here.. so just my two cent: 1. if the new sets are not turning you on, stick with the ones you already have. 2. you don't have to play with them every day, just take a look at them or make minifigs or whatever from time to time. 3. you know what I missed in my dark ages?? wild west, samurai, johnny thunder in egypt....... :'-( (got some smaller sets so far through bl and ebay, but do you want to miss something like that??) so stay on EB and stay informed! greetings!

I concur with my friends here... both sets are not the redefinition of lego (aka cafe corner), but arkham has lots of cool figures, the nice prison transport and lots of nice pieces! and I am quite sure once we can lay our hands on the video game, we willl freak out that we missed the opportunitiy to own the early batman sets! go, bat! :-)

oh no... you stole my idea about the nintendogs movie... :-D so I will start a script of hide and seek - THE most famous children game in the world... *wacko* It really scares me, I always thought (cause of Alien, Blade Runner and Black Rain), that he is kinda cool guy, but I guess he has no ideas at all what to do... with his money... When I think about what kind of movies Robert Altman did, especially at the end.. that was interesting... whatever.. will the title be changed in japan into "itadaki street"? ;-)

I was really sure that tlc meant the figures were limited: white k-3po in hoth / r2 unit in the cruiser / skeleton captain in skeleton ship and so I thought that in the future the sets will be available but not these special figures... just a way to grab more of your precious money if you ask me. and so far these figures are not worth to rush into things and not wait for a tru or lego sale..... but hey.. in the eu they are not available or even announced yet..... THAT is limited.. :'-( did you ask me? ;-)

Your pictures are very nice (both quality and selection)!! :-) :-) I am a bit stuck with SW in the moment, and have already enough Snowtroopers and Hoth Rebels as well as the 4500 Speeder (which is a bit better imo..) BATMAN.... I really hope I am wrong but I am afraid legomilk could be right. So far we should have heard something if there were new sets in january! About the video game: it is strange that we haven't seen any trailers already - there even is a trailer to the Indy game that was kinda announced with that. For months we know there will be a Batman game but not even a single picture?? >:-( AND: also if they release it, it is about old sets and villains I guess. Also LSW1 came out when the sets from Ep1 were not available anymore for some years, no? This year there were only two sets which lack a bit of quality imo - and the popular villains are already made... and besides the penguin sub and the 2face van... what popular vehicles were there? Also for Batman everything important was made.... Plus: at least in germany lego is throwing out the Batman theme for 50% off... not a good sign... let us just hope I am totally wrong.. :-D I do so!

yep---- I also saw Indy coming in a game.. it is soo easy once they have the LSW-programming-platform to put other figures inside - and the plants and picking up studs - exactly like SW... but as people said before.... more Batman please!! btw - is there any batman trailer like this and did I miss it?? :-) go go Indy and Batman!!

My girlfriend who lives in Italy gave me the Emperors palace (Orient Expedition) as a present and I didn' t have space in my luggage to get it back to germany so I chosed only to bring back the chinese Emperor at first who is standing in my flat now and I was a bit sorry for him cause the others will make a mess out of his palace in Italy and he is here all alone without power or a realm... Any comment?? :-)

I thought about it also... but for 50$ I am not sure if they manage it to have the rolling boulder trap and the water-bi-plane sitting two people... but it would be great! With the first 4 sets they focus a lot on Raiders - and I wonder if they plan to release more the years after? There is a lot they could do but it is not like SW, HP or Spiderman that brought 1. always new movies and dvds 2. have a wider range of popularity (esp. If this line goes into the second year I'd appreciate it if they make the tank and the biplane from Indy 3! About the Nazis: Yep, a bit strange. Especially cause there are a lot of buyers of Lego in germany... But I guess there won't be ANY signs that they belong to any special army. Just generic soldiers. Perhaps the truck set comes with only four figs: Indy, truckdriver, Beloge (sp?) and the Nazi Officer. So it is not like they are producing armies of the Deutsche Reich, imo. btw - isn't Indy's hat like Johnny Thunders a bit? Where is the difference? :-)

It was a decision between the Sea Serpent and the Emperors ship... cause I really dislike the one-piece-boats a lot... and is the ship from the avatar really a sailing ship? :-P Emm - so.. vote for the Sea Serpent cause I always wanted to have it, so many figures and the ship is so sweet, tiny and nice! The Emperors ship is a bit too empty and the figs are boring.. a bit.. but I agree that the sail is GREAT and the look is cool... X-D

really? was there a story with egypt and amazon already? didn't know.. thought it began with the OE? oh - and I guess every culture is based on storytelling! americans are crazy for superheroes and I really don't want to go too deep into that but there is a reason. In Europe there are other big traditions of storytelling like theatre and opera and literature that was all here before there was even a US culture for the biggest part. but this only a bit out of the topic.. ;-) The marketing of Lego was and is different in different countries. But this is because of different budgets, "creative" marketing people and so on and on. There was a story in the 1996 (??) city line with the bad guys in Europe and there was even a storyline (with it's own comic book!!!) of the very first pirate issue (in 1990??) The comic was amazing and was in my opinion only available in Danmark and Germany, never in the US. But to cut long things short: I can only speak for myself and I LOVE it to make up own stories and when I see new things I think " wow... I could play this or that with it....!" I collect SW but it is impossible for me to play with it. Boring... :-) so WHEN are the new adventurers sets coming, tlc?????????

exactly my opinion! I really want new sets! Such a great theme with a story that attracted kids and teens and afols. Cause there are not too many originals perhaps? Just Indiana Jones and a few movies? Btw - it could be I am completely different from todays kids but I really have no clue how to play with star wars Lego - the characters and the stories are so fixed! I loved it to play with M-tron or other space things from the past, where you could make own characters and stories. Is it really that different today?
