  1. You see? All went ok. One thing though: 300+ feedbacks on ebay is not very much like a professional. Some here said wholeseller or warehouse. No way. With a 10,000 feedbacks you might have a warehouse, but he seems like a private seller. My guess is a toyshop employee or something. Also it happened a thousand times on ebay that people built up a good feedback in being a buyer, or seller for small items, and then they put a hundred expensive items on ebay in one week. Things they don't even have and freaks are greedy to get. Ipods, Macbooks, cell phones dadada. You know how it works. Anyway, good to be conspicious. I for example never buy any sets on ebay or BL. Only s@h and amazon, not marketplace. You never know if someone took out the minifigs or did other jokes, not that this wouldn't happen. And I am not in the mood to find out something like this a five years from now, cause I often wait to open sets. Or worse, I sell them sometimes on ebay if I find no use or space anymore, and I don't want to be accused for something I didn't even know about.
  2. You are right, they made them only for the Endor playset and I assume chances are not too high for another set having them too soon, if TLC doesn't go for including one in a possible Endor BP. Well, after all the new pieces they made for the Collectable Minifigures, then considering their retail price and limitedness, everyone (including TLC) should know there is no excuse anymore for "expensive new molds". Aliens galore I would say! (And another 2 cent for this nice thread, I thought by myself the other day: "Hey, if SW is burning in the moment and SW Lego is like hot cookies⁵, why not make more sets?" I am not talking about the Hasbro-Madness, but 2 Battle Packs in the summer and an additional 2 mid size sets in summer as in winter. And for the BPs, try the Indy and PoP approach with a small scene and 3-4 different figs, including the heros. Will sell like much much more cookies PLUS milk. BPs eg.: R2, 3PO, Jawa and Escape Pod / Tarkin, Vader, Officer plus bridge scene / etc etc. - you get the idea. )
  3. That's mental! You even put them in alphabetical order! Perhaps YOU are bricklink! Or the TLC safe in Denmark! No, seriously, this is amazing!
  4. No, I am sorry to disappoint, these are not Lego. Also they don't seem to be that old. Early or mid 90s I would say, and that's maximum. Official bricks have the name on it since.. I have no clue, I assume since the 60s. Anyway, that's not what is important here. Sorry, but welcome to EB!
  5. For all the OT/PT collectors who are a bit unsatisfied with the first batch, let me tell you one thing: TLC had a good selection of OT/PT/CW in the past few years and I don't see them changing their tactics, cause they sold all their sets like hell. The more interesting sets (summer wave, limited editions, exclusives) are still to expect and so you can do the maths. (I bet we will see at least half of the following: Cloud City, X-Wing, Falcon, Jedi Temple) Or to cut it short, the first wave is the best that could possibly happen to OT/PT collectors!
  6. I know it's never gonna happen, but what about a set with all the minifig heads from the CW, but in the new 2010+ minifig style? Including 10 normal Clone Trooper heads. Something like that. It's freaking me out that we get ALL the Jedi but in that damn CW style. The TV series makes the characters look like their own parody. Anyway, either that or a set that has all these figures in the "normal" style (cough.. Jedi Temple like 10188 ...cough)!
  7. I assume something PT. And actually, I am really really tempted to try out on the midi-scale, but there is something about the Falcon design I dislike, and the Star Destroyer is a bit ... bland. I am sorry but if this was a Venator it would be on my desk the day it came out! So what to do? Difficult, but I guess I go for the Falcon.. or both! Thanks for the review! Very nice one!
  8. Welcome to EB, Beatrix Fett! You shared some very wise opinions on the SW 2011 topic, I enjoyed reading it! Just coming out of your dark age you are already completely "in it", are you not?

    cheers

  9. Thanks for the nice comments, guys! (I have to find out more about Shaak Ti's skin colour though... ) She was my first and it took some time to find out how to make the head, that's why she's also my favorite, hence the time spent!
  10. Hola! I was a bit bored at the weekend and - amazed by browsing flickr for the Cube Dudes - I tried back and forth, copied some, and came up with some girls from Star Wars. There are no cube-versions of these yet, or I didn't find them, so I wanted to share them here! I hope it is alright to use the term "cube dude" for just presenting them here, credit for building technics, idea, term and inspiration goes of course to Angus MacLane, please be sure to check out his flickr! Cheers, mate! Also I am sorry to say, but what you get is only LDD shots, since they get pretty pricy if you want to order them through s@h (I hate puzzling pieces together on BL, I just go there for rare parts), between 8 and 12€ excluding shipping. I am no big fan of LDD shots myself, cause it doesn't capture the feel like the real thing, but now we all have to live with it! I might get the Leia-pieces with my next s@h order (you can't have enough tan!) and will present her here, but if you want to rebuild her or others in real bricks, you're more than welcome to post them here! As usual c&c welcome! And here they come (tchk, drumroll) Ahsoka, Leia, Shaak Ti, Padme, Deliah Blue and a very sexy Galactic Marine Dude....! Thanks for having a look!
  11. I assume Obi-Wans Starfighter. No? Though for me it says 1st of November.
  12. Very very nice review! You were writing my exact ideas about it, for some reason! I am a huge OT fan but I would have swapped the med droid for 2 Shock Troopers without a second thought! Seeing all those pics I thought by myself "hey, I might get one perhaps", but seeing the last pic I just thought "hey, I want the left one instead!" Like you, I had high hopes for a new Lambda shuttle in this style but it's never too late. The longer we wait, the nicer the construction and minifigs are... (perhaps) Nice review, mate, keep up the good work!!
  13. Nice pictures, thanks a lot! The ships and vehicles are so so, not my cup of tea actually. The Jedi from the T-6 look nice so far, but I am afraid they'll be CloneWarsized for the final version, what is bad, at least for me. Strangely, the Clone BP is interesting for me cause the speeder seems nice and I really need a good BARC speeder. But the figures seem boring to me. Most interesting set seems to be the V-Wing in the moment, and if they don't CloneWarsize the shuttle crew too much, I am in for that one - but I have my doubts..
  14. Could you please provide us with a photo of all the sealed plates together? Would be lovely, thanks a lot, greetings to Croatia!
  15. Sure, in 10 years she'll be worth more. But my guess is that we'll get a new one in a few years. And then, not!
  16. K-D said lots of droids, I am sure we can trust him. Possibly the new list talks about what figs, not how many, sort of. Who is the Sith? Could be the same story as the Battle Droids, we might get 2 of one kind. But I totally agree that Vos is strange and there's no hurry in putting money on some rumours appearing on the net. We should wait. Though, if the minifigs for the shuttle are true: 1. TLC doesn't seem to believe too strongly in that ship, and 2. I would eat my ESB Lando if that set is PT/EU. I'm in desperate need of a new style Obi-Wan and could kill all my Stormies for those Jedi...
  17. Amazing creation, love your minifigs! The blond swept back hair on Indy is great! Would love to hear the background story! What's going on here, what about the pistol or the dagger?
  18. If there won't be any new version of her, the value will rise even more. If there will be a new one, it will drop to appr. 10-15$.
  19. James Bond. I know it is violent but so is Indy and Star Wars. Ok, it's more realistic violence, I know. Ok, whatever, they never gonna make that. I just would love to see it...
  20. Ah cut it out! I can see you doing that, without explaining. Why do you have to? Or if you have to, she might not be that cool.
  21. Only your fingers I suppose. As far as I know for all these card games like Magic etc., it is impossible to know what cards are inside, but a box has the same amount of valuable cards. They are even at the same spot. Whatever, we will see!
  22. Fingers crossed here.. Hope that counts also for Shaak-Ti. A head that can be used with PT AND CW sets, like Plo Koon!
  23. I had the same ideas! I would definitely crash my car into the cafe there, at full speed! The beach is nice and you don't see beaches too often, but it is a little.. square, you know what I mean? The street, sand and water are in the same line, and the side with the police is a straight 90 degree angle to it. Where the police is I would built some small rocks or so, otherwise it feels like the policemen would get wet feet pretty often. And between the sidewalk and beach I would put something, I dont know. A fence, more green, so the cut doesn't seem that hard. AND (gosh, sorry, I am just brainstorming) you should consider getting some Paradisa minifigs - do you like them? They would be terrific there. But actually, seeing your room.. HOW did you make those photos??? Cheers mate, and keep up the good work! Lovely city!

    Toy Wars

Oh, just lovely! Your sharp photos and brilliant introductions of the characters are amazing! And I really don't want to go on peoples nerves but lame thories but I studied movie science at University and it is just amazing, how exchangable characters from huge US summer blockbusters are, and here is the proof! You don't have to write books about it, just click together a few LEGO bricks! Haha! Amazing!
  25. You are so right with everything you said. Especially with the canopy, that it is almost impossible to make it look like in the movie AND possible to be opened. But I think you also got to admit that opening doors on a car model for example don't really count as play features. They add to the realism, accuracy and beauty in design of the actual car, or spaceship in real life. Cars don't look only fantastic with their doors closed. Remember the old Lamborghini? Who would want a model of one without being able to open the doors? Why do the wings unfold and the canopy open for the UCS X-Wing, or why do people were sad that the UCS Lambda Shuttle had no boarding ramp? Cause there is a thin line between accuracy and play features, the meaning of the latter go as far as flick fire missiles perhaps. I agree that design counts first and there is no argueing about it, no way. But little details, also things that move, and that the real life or movie counterpart is known for, these things might add to accuracy in my book! Or take away from.. depends! cheers!
