Yeah, I have the same color problem. I have for the most part given up. For me it is all about the build anyway, so I just try to use colors that go together or in one case I used one color on one side and another on the other side. My reasoning was that no one can see both sides at the same time. Works for me. When rebuilding my 8258 I had to substitute colors because I did not have all the right colors... I still enjoyed th build anyway. Andy D

@Doug72 I like where this is going. Very good looking track unit. On your subtractor I noticed that you use 2 L motors. I thought many subtractors used one L one XL motor for drive and an M motor for steering. Is there a reason you used 2 L motors? Andy D

I can see that the bucket attachment can pick up more than the claw, but... The claw just looks so much more intimidating. Andy D

Add me to the 42054 crowd! I have both the 42054 and 42069 But it depends on what you want, the 42054 has some really great functions both motorized and non-motorized (the steering modes). Andy D

@Doug72 Thanks for the photo. I may get some of those before gears I assemble my 42009 again, I think you are right, this should help. Your model is looking great! BTW: Did you change the motor allignrnt of m2 and m3? Andy D

Those XL turntable pieces continue to amaze me! How is the support ring attached? I assume there are pin holes on the bottom. Is there a reason why you did not raise m2 and m3 so as to avoid the use of U-joints? It seems to me that you could raise them 1 stud an remove the 4 U-joints. looking good! Andy D

@Doug72 Those turntable parts are outstanding! Did you have them in mind when you conceived the MOC or did you later find that they fit a need? Andy D

Well... it was not easy. ;) I didn't really lose the box, it is just sitting under my build desk mocking me, every day, I just lost the time. I have so many projects and I just need to define a queue (yeah, right), then decide where the BWE is in that queue. Right now I am in the middle of a big disassembly, sort and store project. Some of the sets have been waiting a couple of years to be disassembled, some piles of bricks have been waiting almost as long. But I do have a plan, sort of, kind of. i just got a 42053 and I want to assemble that and do some other projects, so maybe June for the BWE?? Andy D
