Great looking excavator. All the accessories you built really bring it out and enhance the play options.

@Elysiumfountain I did a modification of the Hogwart's Express a while back. I took some inspiration from the Emerald Night, but made it my own. Check it out here

Seriously good work on this Spanish locomotive. The sides are impressive and the features top notch.

This is a nice improvement over your previous version. The two cars and added story really make it stand out. The only thing I'm not a fan of is the Hogwart's Express style driving rod design. Otherwise, the detailing is superb. Is it PUP compatible too?

Sweet looking locomotive. Kinda reminds me of the Finnish locomotives, but with a different color stripe.

Good looking mod. You've captured the essence of the SD40 while making minimal changes.

That's a good looking station you've built. The lights really bring it out in the dark.

Nice looking GEEP. It would look good in any 80's or later setup. -
Interesting locomotive design. Makes me think of the Cold War eastern Europe designs. The covered hopper is nice as well.

Good work. The locomotive is utilitarian, but well detailed. The scenery is sweet for such a locomotive.

Yes, a modernized version of 3737. Without the big train base plate, I could see removing the bogey plate and adding some small turntables. You make a good argument about the train base plate. As noted above, leave it out. Make it cheaper and small enough to be a polybag. And the "gateway" is the idea. I have built some plate based frames with a technic plate to attach the bogey plate to, but others use the small 2x2 turntable. Either would be an option. Cost would go down without the added plate.

With LEGO now producing a number of polybag accessory sets, what would it take to run the idea of doing a train themed one with 8 wheels, 4 axles, 4 axle holders, 2 bogey plates, and 2 couplers? Sure, it wouldn't be the cheapest, but it would provide a parts pack to do some MOC work on one's own. Maybe throw in a signal light to give it some flair. Forgive me if this isn't the proper place or I'm going crazy.

It's so cute! Perfect vignette.

My wife thought LEGO made a straight jacket when we were going through a bulk bin. I had to make this pic of the Joker.

Good looking modification. Makes it stand out compared to the original.

Great work. Lots of details in the mill and the explanation of what it all does is wonderful. I learned a bit today. Thanks

Nice pair of locomotives. The use of the new PUP system makes them even more fun.

This bahnhof (train station) is based on a number of hauptbahnhof (main stations) throughout Germany. It also uses parts from 60050, but not much. The major inspirations are Bremen and Frankfurt am Main. It has three tracks for trains with an overhead bridge to gain access to 2 & 3. Signals are at the ends of the platforms for tracks 1 & 2. As seen from the internal view, the shopkeeper and the bäckerei are present, but additional areas have been added. A ticket agent, locker area, and WC are new. The station has plenty of windows, allowing for good lighting as seen when illuminated from inside.

I've seen something similar on a meter gauge steam railway in Nordrhein-Westfalen. It's only got one side dump, but is rather similar still. I swear I've seen the bigger version as well, but can't find any photos I might have taken of them.

Good looking Spanish passenger train.

I got the 3 way switch from TrixBrix and couldn't really think of what to do with it until I thought about building an engine shed. Using spare parts from lots of garage & trunk sale purchases, I came up with the building shown below. It has a 48x60 stud footprint. It encompasses 3 bays, with one being a full run through. The middle bay is long enough to hold the Emerald Night and tender, barely. The small bay can hold a diesel engine on a normal 28 stud long frame. In the machine shop section, there is a hydraulic press, band saw, and lathe (all based on Brick Mania designs) as well as my own drill press. Storage and other parts can be found around the train shed, to include an oxy-acetelyne setup and wheeled toolbox. The middle track has an overhead gantry crane as well. This is the layout I currently have. It consists of a diverse section of industry, town, and other elements. There are 4 passenger stations including the infamous Platform 9 3/4 (Upper middle behind the Town Hall). One station is based on the American midwest (upper right corner). It lights up with a battery powered LED setup in the roof. The Emerald Night with a second class coach MOC is taking on water. The German styled Haupbahnhof is in the lower left and has an ICE and RB on Gleis 1 & 2. A platform station is located to the right of the hauptbahnhof is generic enough that it could be anywhere. The newest passenger train is stopping there. Between the two is a yard with a car loading facility for the autorack. There are two intermodal facilities in the upper section along with a small grain elevator and warehouse.

You've captured the Southern Pacific class perfectly. Great work, can't wait to see it hauling some tonnage.

Good looking station.

Great looking train. All the details you've put in make it stand out as a period prototype. I prefer the windows with the 1x1 bricks between them.
