  1. The detailing is amazing, especially the engines where you use track elements and minifig hands to create the cylindrical areas.
  2. Thanks guys. Did just that and they are staying up at an angle... for the time being. NEXT PAGE!
  3. Hey guys, one question... How do you keep the 2 small wings on each side of the the engines from drooping straight downwards? I can't get them to be angled at a 45 degree angle! Thanks!
  4. I chuckled when I saw this! Looks instantly recognisable yet cute!
  5. Seems like you managed to complete it within the timeframe that you set, coupled with the modifications of the stand! The stand does look really stable. I am contemplating whether to incorporate it into my build. :) I am still at around page 950 due to life making a nuisance of delaying my build!!!! My plan is to complete it before the New Year!!! Haha! Waiting to see more photos of the entire fleet.
  6. So small yet instantly recognizable! Lovely!
  7. Thanks Sion. Just a small MOD using ideas from Forresto actually. I don't have the creativity of building my own MOCs but I am learning everyday! :)
  8. Much thanks for the kind comment, TWP! :)
  9. Thanks for the suggestion, joeyl19! I got the inspiration from this photo: But let me see what I can do with his abdomen! Thanks again!
  10. Looks really accurate and I agree with the rest of the posters about the molten cuts in the door. Lovely!
  11. Hi there! Just want to show a small MOD that I have done, using the Darth Maul polybag (5000062) that was given away with a SW purchase here in Asia! I had always wanted to build a spidey Darth Maul that featured in The Clone Wars and this giveaway made it possible! Full credits to Forresto and his B'omarr monk MOC too. His B'omarr monk was just perfect and I just adapted the spider legs and made some modifications for the abdomen so that it looks closer to the Darth Maul spider that I was looking for. Anyhow, please check out the photos and do let me know what you think or if I could improve on it more! Happy Bricking!
  12. I just sort out the extra bricks and use them for my MOCs!
  13. Bought a 75153 AT-ST & a 75154 TIE Striker. Received 2x Darth Maul polybags as well. Go Rogue One!
  14. Over in this part of the world, we only have Darth Maul polybag on 30 Sep and a FO General on 1st Oct. No Darth Revan.
  15. Love the mods, ecmo! And also the printed wedge that you used (on top of the sand green pod)! Just like the nose art on WW2 planes or in SW universe, the republic gunships! Haha! :)
  16. Looks great and can't wait to see more photos of it. The UCS plaque is a nice touch too!
  17. Ah, the joy of being in the US... *jealous*
  18. Guess I can trash the idea of opening my 9500 Sith Fury Class Interceptor set after checking out Markus1984's amazing MOC! Amazing details. Love it!
  19. I finally managed to get the Nebulon on the transparent stands and I am blown away at the size of it! Am a bit worried about the balance of the Nebulon on the stands though. Oh well, time to knuckle down and build them pods and the plates to cover up the skeleton! :)
  20. Congrats on landing yourself a nice UCS set that is ready to mod! Besides modding the rear engines, you can also look at beefing the frame up a bit to prevent the front from sagging etc etc. Read that the 10030 has the tendency for the nose to droop after a while due to the poor placements of the stands. Must as well tackle this issue as you are modding up the rear as well. Cheers!
  21. Thanks Brian for the great suggestion! Actually I have added in those bricks under that 4x4 plate on page 436 too! I felt that that top section was a bit too flimsy since it is held in front by a single stud so I braced the length of that section with some "pillars" of 2x2 LBG/DBG bricks. I managed to get the entire ship flipped on its back with the help of a pillow and a few plastic containers so that I can work on the bottom frame.
  22. Good point about using duvets! Was thinking of how I can lay my Nebulon on its side so that I can start on the bottom part and not lose "most" of the top greebling.
  23. Congrats ecmo47 on the milestone! I am currently at page 460 and I am starting on building the bottom section... oh my... I also realised that around page 250+, when building the frame connecting the 2 ends together, it would be easier to combine both sections so that I can build a few small stands to keep the ship upright. I already had to pull apart quite a few bricks a couple of times to link some bricks that the instructions only asked for a couple of pages ahead! Numb thumbs! Numb thumbs!
  24. When I was building my 10134, I did not want to paste the sticker on the cockpit and left it as it was. Then, one day, as I was dusting my other SW Lego sets, I noticed that the the 75049 Snowspeeder has the same sized cockpit as the 10134 and it was printed as well. Needless to say, I removed the 75049's cockpit and fitted it onto my 10134 instead! :)
  25. Sometimes the adventure lies in the journey, Jemakrol! Great that you managed to build your dream set. :) Happy bricking.
