  1. @LiLmeFromDaFuture: Thanks for the files! Downloaded them and in the "queue" to get built!
  2. Woah! I have been following your T-47 since you debuted the first iteration and to have you release the updated V2.0 files to share with us is just awesome! I have downloaded the building instructions but your resources LINK is still set as private and not yet made public? Again, a million thanks for building and sharing an awesome rendition of an iconic ship with us!
  3. Oh, I didn't know that the Falcon was supposed to be mounted through the middle vent until you mentioned it! I had to google the photos to check it out! I tried with a couple of bricks and found that once it is mounted through the "vent", it becomes very front heavy and when it is mounted on the Nebulon, it dips forward, unless I add more bricks to the back of the MF to balance it out, or a redesign of the rear of the MF...
  4. Dug around my own bricks and gathered them in a bag. Next stop, BrickLink for the rest of the bricks! Hope they arrive before Xmas so I can give myself a surprise!
  5. @ecmo47 Thanks for the ideas! Parted out my 75030 MF microfighter for the cockpit and ordered the #4150px24 elements, which came in the mail today! Sweet!
  6. The Nebulon-B Frigate was created by Mortesv and instructions are for sale. You can check it out here: Lego MOC-5083 Mortesv's Nebulon-B Frigate And the building thread is here, where we discuss building the monster! Enjoy!
  7. @Hunter003 Much thanks! Love all the greebling on the ship, especially the engine areas! Oh and I just measured this beast and its: 125 (L) x 25 (W) x 56 (H) cm (including the antennae), or 47.25 (L) x 9.85 (W) x 22.05 (H) inches (including the antennae)
  8. The Nebulon was on its 3 stands (without the one below the "sword") for the past one month and there has not been any signs of sagging. Took a peek at the frame before I added the panels covering the "sword" and main body and there were no separations there, even though I was pressing hard on the frame to get the panels fixed in place. You made it strong, Mortesv!!!
  9. Same here! Love the "exposed" engine internals with all the greebling... Can't wait to see the brickbuilt version.
  10. Tone down my purchases... so just bought 75126 Snowspeeder & 75127 The Ghost microfighters only.
  11. Lovely!! Can't wait to tear down my 75054 AT-AT and rebuild it into this monster!
  12. Yes the Nebulon is able to balance with just the 3 transparent pillars. There was no need for the small support for the "sword" because I realised after fitting the pods onto the main frame, it is actually quite sturdy with hardly any flex! I mainly did some modifications, as per eco's advice, as well as some additional bracing in the interior of the main body. As for the outside greebling, I mainly stayed true to the instructions except that I closed up as much gaps as I could find.
  13. And finally I get to join the rest of the Rebels!!! Bought the instructions in July, bricks arrived in Sep and finally completed in Nov... what a ride! Big thanks to Mortesv for building such a wonderful creation and to Cdj223 for doing up the instructions. Without you guys, we won't get to build this masterpiece!
  14. Speechless...
  15. @Hunter003 Awesome Resistance Fleet and collection!!
  16. Ah, I see what you did with the 2x10 plates. Yes, with all that greebling in place, you cannot tell if it is a plate taller! Looks interesting Motesc & Ecmo! Let me see if I can build the micro Y-Wings with whatever few pieces I have too.
  17. @Hunter003: Ecmo's solution of using tiles does help, a lot actually! Without the tiles, I can't get the top panel totally flat on the frame and I needed to use a lot of force and it caused me to accidentally bump the 2 half-cylinder engines off. Getting those engines to fit again (in such a tight space) was a nightmare. So I followed Ecmo's solution and added tiles on the frame, with studs showing at corners to "guide & lock" the top panel in place. Just note that the top panel is now a plate higher so certain areas may have gaps, like those circled, so I added more tiles and plates to increase the height and close off any gaps that I may find. Trust this helps!
  18. Hey ecmo! I finally understood what you meant by the top plate being difficult to fit on! I forgot about your post about adding those tiles and studs on top of the engine frame before adding in the top panel. It was a nightmare to fit the whole panel in place without toppling the entire ship. Now I will have to remove the top panel... Will try your mods over this weekend. Thanks once again.
  19. Oh no. How do I report it? Can't read German.
  20. This diorama is just so amazing that I am lost for words! At least for mere mortals like us, we still can get to build the Nebulon, transports and the miniature fighters!
  21. Looks brilliant! The different colours do reflect the nature of the cobbled-together/modified look of the Y-Wings nicely!
  22. So many Y-Wing threads but all uniquely special! Would love to see bigger photos please.
  23. That's one sleek looking star destroyer! Thanks for sharing your WIP & completed photos! Would love to include this ship in my collection but I totally respect your decision for not sharing. But I can only hope otherwise, right?
