  1. Got it for £130 from America. Not sure if I just open it for the collection! But yes you’re right it’s going to be very valuable!
  2. The wave is good seeing the official pictures- don’t have many problems. Anakin’s Jedi Interceptor is fine just not for me since I have it. Lazy Anakin torso though could have some sort of value if it was new!? General Grievous Starfighter had the potential to be a good set. It looks nice and the Airborne trooper although isn’t Cody is still nice and different. Just needed a new Grievous (tan) and not the lazy Kenobi torso and take £10/$10 off it and it’s all fine. Actually really like the Duel set. That Vader as I said is just superb. I’ll get this set 100% At the end of the day this wave is excellent considering previous waves recently.
  3. A few months back I got a Resistance Bomber that is the Finch Dallow version. How do I maximise its selling value? Remove the figure? Keep all inside the box?
  4. It seems the Summer sets are delayed until September 2020 for the US. Europe still August. Instagram: nino_leaks
  5. Is this a hint at some 2021 sets or am I looking too much into it?
  6. I hated it when I saw it. On closer inspection and particularly when comparing it to the cartoon it isn’t as bad as I thought. I think it just looks different to both the 2015 and 2009 version so perhaps it’s partly because of that, more so because of the 2009 version. Sometimes it takes time to accustom yourself to differences, well atleast in this case for me. Getting it because of those figures can’t lie. Gosh I love Clone Wars sets, there’s just something about them.
  7. Oh wow. This response alone can be torn to complete shreds. Imagine suggesting someone doesn’t have a valid opinion yet states with fact that a particular theme within Star Wars, without any evidence bare in mind, did not sell well. Sorry I think your tone is disgusting. This is about a toy, that is Lego. Chill out a little and express your views in a better way.
  8. Updated Winter 2021 set predictions! Snowtrooper Battle Pack £12.99 (Command station and Speeder Bike): Snowtrooper Commander, Imperial Officer, Snowtrooper (x2) Mandalorian Forces Battle Pack £12.99 (Turret, Speeder): Nite Owl Mandalorian (x2), Mandalorian Super Commando (x2) Corporate Alliance Tank Droid £24.99: Super Tactical Droid, Battle Droid, 212th Clone Trooper (x2) Duel on Coruscant £24.99 (2 senate Pods): Yoda, Emperor Palpatine Bespin Junkyard £29.99: Chewbacca, C3-PO, E-3PO, Ugnaught CIS Heavy Artillery Cannon £44.99: Mace Windu, Mace Windu Anaxes Clone Trooper, Battle Droid Commander, Battle Droid Republic Y-Wing Starfighter £64.99: Ahsoka Tano, Captain Rex, R7-A7 Tie Bomber £79.99: Admiral Ozzel, Captain Needa, Tie Bomber Pilot, Stormtrooper
  9. Kind of forgot about the already released set pictures for the other sets so here a final thoughts on the entire wave consisting of a total of 9 sets. Anakin’s Jedi Interceptor: Have the 2014 version so nothing new here. Can’t see anyone buying this if they have that version. 501st Clone troopers: One of the best Lego Star Wars sets in a long time. I’ll buy a fair few to keep sealed. AAT: Figures are good, set less so. Might be one of those that looks better in person. I’ll get one. NightBuzzard: KoR are great and the set is solid. Good job. Don’t have the other KoR though so will have to see. Greivous Starfighter: Had the potential to be a great set it really did. One that I felt needed a remake. Yet the lazy figures and price pretty much confirm I will not pick this up. Resistance IT-S Transport: Look I like that’s it’s new and unique, but I could think of many more sets I’d rather have. The figures are decent but only 3 is rather disappointing. Death Star Final Duel: Strange choice and very unexpected! Close to the 2015 version so not sure why it’s being released. Didn’t have the 2015 version so if this goes on sale I’d be intrigued. RazorCrest: Great set, will sell very well. Shame no Beskar variant but that’s fine. AT-AT: This is a good set. Figures are good and it’s a far superior model imo than previous iterations. Overall some good figures and some decent sets. Definitely an improvement imo on the last few years’ summer waves. But for sure, the whole thing from leakers, Lego revealing sets, the type of sets has been strange. Strange but fun. Bring on Winter! We could be in for more pretty much direct re-releases of sets in the future (interceptor + DS Duel)
  10. I’m sure the Vulture Droid was cheap though wasn’t it, unlike the Galaxy Edge Transport which looks pricey.
  11. This. Many people on this forum constantly remind us that Lego Star Wars is for children, which is absolutely correct. The point is that I can almost say with absolute certainty children will not know what or where this set is from. Hence it is a strange choice, considering this set is targeted for them. I’m sure a larger Clone Wars vehicle for example would be instantly more recognisable in terms of the set itself and the minifigures included than this. I personally think it looks decent but the reasons I’ve stated means I don't think it will sell well.
  12. 332nd Clone is the box-art for the 501st Legion Clone Troopers.
  13. What makes this wave even more baffling is that they haven’t gone all out for The Clone Wars, it was obvious it would smash it pandemic or not. I don’t get the Galaxy Edge set at all, most kids as well as adults globally will know nothing about the set and figures. I certainly had never heard of it and I’d like to think I know a lot of characters/ships/vehicles etc. These figures are definitely final.
  14. Atleast she has a double-sided face print Had not realised the laziness of the minifigure selection in the Soulless One- Grievous isn’t tan and Obi-Wan is from Mustafar
  15. Well I’m shocked. 75291 is a literal re-release of the Death Star Final Duel from 2015...WHAT? The AAT looks horrendous and no idea why there’s Kashyyyk Battle Droids... but Ahsoka and a 332nd Trooper means this will sell very well. Night Buzzard looks nice in all honesty! Cannot really see the point of the Interceptor, it’s just the same. Resistance Transport Ship from what exactly? So strange... Grievous Ship looks nice but nobody is going to pick it up at that price unless you’re a reviewer of some sort. It’s just all round strange.
  16. Ah yes I prefer to just make as many set ideas as possible, whereas yours are better because they’re concise and have clearly thought about what are the essential sets from that movie. Bet you can’t wait for the ROTS super wave... I have a feeling that’s going to be the biggest of the lot! The creatures are Orrays. Good lord I’d be scarred if that sound brick was in my room! Quoted the sets I like in particular, especially love the Microfighters here.
  17. Blurry picture of the Advent Calendar has leaked over on Instagram. Surely any day now for the rest of the wave.
  18. Now now, your wish is my command Padme’s Naboo Honeymoon £999.99: Padme, Anakin, elephant/moose thing, 5,000 piece waterfall and a brick with the quote I don’t like sand. Oh and a random woman who took their bags off them when they arrived.
  19. Right Attack of the Clones. My childhood favourite. After watching it back it’s definitely a unique Star Wars film for sure for multiple reasons. There’s a middle portion of the film that has limited vehicles and ships that kids would definitely not buy so I’ve skipped some of them out, whilst others although I don’t think will ever be sets, offer some sort of play value or interest. New or redesigned things of note: Kaminoans, Anakin Skywalker, new colour for the Battle Droids, New Clone trooper designs to keep them fresh, Seperatist Council members, Padme Poncho, Silver/dusty C3-PO, Corde, Captain Typho, Joclad Danva, Bultar Swan, Roth-Del Masona, updated Jedi designs based on AOTC for Luminara, Shaak ti etc, Dexter Jettster, Movie accurate + different variant Geonosians, WA-7, FA-4 redesign, Hermione Bagwa. Again loads that hasn’t been done! I think the film in terms of Lego can really be characterised by the amount of ‘stuff’ that hasn’t been done by Lego rather than what has and needs updating. Think this is mainly because of the Clone Wars’ success. Anyway here we go! ** No Republic Gunship because the 2013 set won’t be beaten and a Clone Wars S7 version would offer something new. MicroFighters Republic SPHA-T £9.99: Clone Gunner Geonosian Starfighter £9.99: Geonosian Pilot Battle Packs/army builder style sets Forward Commander Centre W/Speeder Bike £34.99: Clone Trooper Sergeant, Clone Trooper Lieutenant, Clone Trooper (x2), Super Battle Droid (x2) Battle on Geonosis £44.99 (Geonosian Starfighter + Sonic Boom Turret): Geonosian Pilot, Geonosian Warrior, Geonosian Battle Droid (x2) Droid Factory £59.99: Anakin Skywalker, C3-PO, Geonosian Warrior, Geonosian Battle Droid (x5) - the link below is a good example of what I’m thinking probably just with a better conveyor belt design perhaps. Small-Medium Scale sets Hailfire Droid £24.99: Geonosian Battle Droid (x2), Tarados Gon (closer to 2007 version than 2015 yuck) Dexter Jettster's Diner £29.99: Dexter Jettster, Obi-Wan Kenobi, WA-7 Waitress Droid, Hermione Bagwa Obi-Wan’s Jedi Starfighter £34.99: Obi-Wan Kenobi, R4-P17, Taun We Homing Spider Droid w/Dwarf S.Droid £34.99: Geonosian Battle Droid Commander, Super Battle Droid, Shaak Ti, Clone Trooper Coruscant Airspeeder Chase £44.99 (2 Airspeeders, Courier Droid w/printed slug function): Anakin Skywalker, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Zam Wesell (double sided face) Naboo Starfighter £44.99: Padme Amidala, Captain Typho, Cordé, Unnamed Green Astromech Droid Count Dooku’s Solar Sailor £49.99 (+Flipknot Speeder): Count Dooku, FA-4 Pilot Droid, Poggle the Lesser, Yoda Padme’s Nubian Yacht £59.99: Padme Amidala (poncho), Anakin Skywalker, R2-D2, C3-PO Commerce Guild Diamond-Class Cruiser £64.99: Shu Mai, Po Nudo, Battle Droid Pilot, Super Battle Droid, Clone Trooper (x2) Larger Scale sets Hardcell Interstellar Transport £79.99: Wat Tambor, Passel Argente, Geonosian Battle Droid (x2), Super Battle Droid (x2), Joclad Danva Jango Fett’s Slave One £99.99: Jango Fett, Boba Fett, Lama Sue Naboo Diplomatic Barge £129.99: Padme Amidala, Captain Typho, Corde, Naboo Pilot, Naboo Security Lieutenant (Theomet Danlé) Republic SPHA-T £129.99: Yoda, Mace Windu, Clone Trooper Commander, Clone Trooper Captain, Clone Trooper (x2) Republic Acclamator-Class Assault Cruiser £129.99: Chancellor Palpatine, Luminara Unduli (skirt piece like Offee), Saesse Tiin, Clone Pilot (new helmet probably be in UCS Gunship), Clone Trooper (x2) Petranaki Arena £139.99 (overpriced due to combination of moulded creature parts with pieces + figure count-1150/1250- balcony, stands, 3 pillars, Chariot): Anakin Skywalker, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Padme Amidala, Count Dooku, Nute Gunray, Coleman Trebor, Geonosian Battle Droid, Super Battle Droid, Geonosian Picador, Geonosian Warrior, Roth-Del Masona, Bultar Swan - Reek, Acklay, Nexus, and Orray- a combination of moulded and pieces) UCS Republic Dropship w/AT-TE £249.99: Kit Fisto, Pablo-Jill, Sora Bulq, Clone Pilot (new helmet), Clone AT-TE Driver, Clone Trooper, Geonosian Battle Droid (x2), Droideka
  20. You’re too kind sir. Honestly good job, hadn’t thought of a Naboo Palace Rescue type set- would remind me of Prince of Persia and Indiana Jones type sets (7571 + 7197). Watching Attack of the Clones this evening so expect a set list based on that in the coming days!
  21. I think we are missing a crucial point here. The terrain on Tatooine does not provide any functionality unlike Starkiller Base, Naboo, and Mustafar. What are kids meant to do with the terrain exactly? Place the speeder and vaporator on and that’s it? Furthermore just because a set has been released in the past does not guarantee its future as a set. Just my two cents anyway!
  22. This- it will have to have atleast Ben but I can totally see a couple of Sith Sovereign Protectors being included. The Mace Windu vs Palpatine would be a really good set. Those who missed out on Palpatine’s arrest would be annoyed though I think. Unless a Gunship included the other Jedi and Anakin for example.
  23. Nah cmon now that duel definitely wasn’t just Palpatine and Rey. I meant in terms of the discussion right now in relation to Palpatine/Yoda duel. Plus as a small duel set rather than large.
  24. Duel sets actually need to have Lego Bricks. So the tatooine version of Maul and Qui-Gon won’t happen- all there would be is perhaps Maul’s Speeder. Obi-Wan vs Vader ANH, Luke vs Vader ESB, and Ahsoka vs Maul (although not sure these new variants would come in such a cheap set if I’m honest) are the main candidates. The Invisible Hand Duel and the Duel on Exegol involves more than 2 characters and in most cases more than 3 so unless Lego wants to return to the larger duel sets I can’t see these being made in these small duel scenarios. Personally a Palpatine Vs Yoda with a senate pod or two could be a really interesting set that I don’t think has been Mentioned here.
