Anyone know why there is only going to be around 6 system scale sets for April/Summer? Is the Star Wars line really struggling?

I think there is potential for some good TROS sets so I’m fine with that! I have on this forum been vocal regarding my desire for prequel sets. The problem is I just sense Lego will rehash the ‘classic sets’ such as the Naboo Starfighters, Sith Infiltrators, Vulture Droids, Jedi starfighters etc rather than releasing something either completely new or well in need of a re-release. TPM for example would be great to have a Gian Speeder, AAT, Republic Cruiser and Landing Craft.

I’m still sceptical regarding the Mandalorian. Surely Lego release a RazorCrest. Regarding Clone Wars I’m shocked. Perfect opportunity for fantastic sets. People underestimate children- if they like Star Wars they’ll watch the other seasons or episodes that sound exciting... Before we all get angry with Lego let’s wait and see. I wouldn’t be all surprised however if what’s been said is true considering Lego’s downfall began when they released a downscaled MTT and AAT back in 2014/15 let’s be real. Prequel sets sound alright but not really desired considering what’s on right now. They’ll be boring remakes aswell for sure that don’t IMPROVE what we’ve had already. The wave will be definitely filled with TROS for sure.

People are capable of making their own decisions. Many people here are very critical of people who want the Gunship and just generalising that we all must have been influenced by him. Ridiculous. The Gunship is excellent and so is the Frigate and I’d imagine the voting is pretty tight for it so I wouldn’t be at all surprised to see them both in the future. Haven’t seen so many grown people throw their toys out the pram in a long time. Hopefully Lego can bless us with more opportunities like this in the future!

Hadn’t seen this before I posted in 2020 thread! Gunship for me as I love the Prequel vehicles! Can definitely see the appeal for the Frigate though.

May have had a more prominent role in the original directors cut hence has been in development long before it became marginal.

I think the wave will have big sets in rather than smaller ones. Final Order Star Destroyer, B-Wing, Nightbuzzard, Water Skimmer, and UA-TT Walker are some of my guesses.

Yeah likely some tree build or the log to create the play feature of the bike crashing into it.

I also predicted this. I can assure you however they’re a fair few in the summer wave.

Decided to go all in and get the (2014) Mos Eisley Cantina for £75 + a Resistance Bomber (Finch Dallow version) for £128.

Rekindling my love for Lego. Over last few months have picked up a few sets. Yoda’s Hut Snoke’s Throne Room Resistance Transport Pod Advent Calendar 20th Ann Slave One then looking to pick up the Sith troopers + Mandalorian Bp’s along with Luke’s landspeeder/Duel on Mustafar after Christmas.

Perhaps you’re right regarding the Walker! Ooo interesting... D2C Endor set yes please.

I think lego need to return to the strategy you refer to. Waves used to have sets albeit separate ones unlike what you wish for, where you could create battles. Promising that a Tie Dagger and X-Wing are in this winter wave- I’m always more inclined to buy sets that go together. To tackle the ‘expensive’ element battle packs are a great source to do so aswell. Would love a ROTS wave that gives a brand new Arc-170 for example with a a separate Vulture Droid. Just my opinion.

I’d much prefer something new if I’m honest e.g. Geonosian Arena or a Jedi Temple. I think the Endor sets are needed though and should be done in a few sets... Speeder Chase- Gives is an Endor Luke Shield Bunker with AT-ST

The problem is a small portion of Star Wars fans watch the cartoon. I would be very frustrated with 2+ sets from it with ships and figures I do not care too much about. Lego need to make the most of The Mandalorian and Clone Wars though.

Wouldn’t be surprised! On another note I’m very excited to see what Lego will treat us with in 2020. More RoS, The Mandalorian and Clone Wars sets will be fantastic. This wave is terrific. Any idea the name of the weird Alien in the Falcon is?
