This is actually really funny. Hopefully people will have access to the prelims soon, then we will get some leaks. -

Good ideas @Mandalorianknight, I appreciate the creativity in many of these sets. Your anniversary figures are really great. -

I would also love to see a 14+ Republic Frigate, around 1250 pcs for £160 or so. My Venator lineup could work here instead. I’m less confident of seeing a TPM remake, and I did not like how they did the colour for the Coruscant Gunship. I still think a remake is very much needed, though. @CloneCommando99, I love your £8.99 ideas! I would actually pay £14.99 for them. I also like that you’ve got 3 x 14+ sets that actually feel like 14+ (Imperial Shuttle is good this year, but not 14+ good scale wise). The Adelfi Output is a great idea and shows there’s plenty of new minifigure options. If only 14+ came earlier, because the Fondor would have been perfect. I can’t see Andor being relevant any more unlike Mando and the Offworld Sandcrawler. -

All good ideas! The potential is very clearly there. Throw in a CIS Landing Craft and a Jabba’s Palace to that list. -

You’d think it’s the prequel love next summer. Given the 14+ sets this summer, and the rumoured Anakin’s Interceptor and Bounty Hunter Pursuit next year, I think we might get the following. Republic LAAT Gunship £160: Yoda, Kit Fisto, Agen Kolar, Phase I Clone Pilot, Phase II Clone Trooper (x2) Venator-Class Republic Attack Cruiser £180: Shaak Ti, Saesse Tiin, Phase II Kamino Security Clone Trooper Captain, Phase II Kamino Security Forces Clone Trooper (x2), Republic Officer -

In terms of inflation, yes. Turbo Tank is a slight discrepancy due to the large wheel pieces, but your overall point is right. Currently, around 950 pieces is around £140, but that does not take into account the Remnant AT-AT and Sandcrawler coming later this year; Sandcrawler has around 1700 pcs, for £200 or so, so there is hope. It was only in 2024 when the Imperial Star Destroyer had 1555 pcs for £150. Lego need to provide a 16+ line, which separates these flagship sets where possible. This should provide sets between £220-£250. I am not entirely convinced LSW are protecting customers by downscales so they don’t spiral in terms of costs, given UCS continue to get larger and more expensive. -

I think I mentioned this somewhere in the main thread, where I said that the golden age should be understood by the leaps in development made by LSW during 2010-2015. At no other point since has the theme seen such a significant jump in a higher quality I.e the sets from 2015 wouldn’t look out of place in 2025, whereas the sets from 2005 look completely out of place by 2015, heck even by around 2008 they did. Naturally because of the proliferation of downscales since around 2021, if LSW were to return to larger models it would feel like the wow factor is back. I’d prefer a more tangible improvement rather than this potential distorted change, though. -

Right, where do we see LSW by 2030? Separately, what would LSW need to be and/or do to be in a better position? Finally, what’s your ideal point for LSW? My answers are: 1. Adults welcome moves into a new direction, display remains the focus. Skyline style sets (I.e Apple, NewYork) are released including Cloud City, Hoth, and Endor, as are Star Wars monuments which are mid-scale locations such as the Jedi Temple, the Death Star, and Starkiller Base. Helmets and mid-scale starships/vehicles remain with 1-2 released each year. This also includes another avenue where Smart brick sets which are well-integrated into the theme with vast improvements in sound quality and accuracy, design, cost, and the operational workings of smart bricks such as charger capacity and availability. 2. A better balance between display and play, interior and exterior, and less corner cutting measures including reducing the number of stickers, more accurate or more new moulds, and better interiors. The value proposition needs to be better. A more favourable ratio for traditional LEGO sets compared with smart brick technology, and Adults Welcome sets. 3. Affordable, play-scale sets become the norm once again. A greater emphasis on niche areas of the Skywalker saga. Better battle packs. A new sub-theme of 16+ sets which serve as a bridge between flagship playscale and UCS (more Tantive IV 2019). A desire to release versions of sets which are the best version of that set they can do, which includes nailing the price point. -

You’d have thought an ISD is on the way, perhaps we may get Thrawn’s? Yes to the Nubian. -

I still don’t know how this hasn’t been released. The only thing I’d want from S7 is the Mint coloured Clone Pilot. -

Loved the Speeder Bike design in the recent Maul episodes this week. Would be the perfect build for a TK Stormtrooper BP, or something similar. -

Yes to these! Haven’t thought about Solo for a while, but these would go down well! Ironically, we need Star Wars content to really slow down for these to return, or a change in strategy that gives more options for traditional sets. -

These are the ones for me. I can’t believe we haven’t seen the helmets (including Death Trooper) and the mid-scale. -

I do think we need a counterpart to the Battle Droid with STAP set. I know LEGO cancelled the technic, action figure style AT-RT with Clone Trooper along with the separate Super Battle Droid a while back, but that could be a winner. If not, a Clone Trooper with BARC speeder would give the display a horizontal dimension that I would welcome. I would also like to see a buildable Grievous. Agree with @Mandalorianknight’s above post. Mid-Scale Landmarks etc would work well and I would like to see a Death Star II, Jedi Temple, and a Cloud City. -

All these are needed. It’s the most under-represented movie in LEGO, there’s some absolute bangers here regardless of the overall sentiment of the movie. Think you need a Sith Sovereign Protector in there, though…somewhere! -

Just shows there’s plenty left in the mid-scale range. Good ideas. Love these ideas. I actually think the Sequels will benefit downscaling as most won’t want or need re-releases of the sets but they could be tempted with smaller, more affordable versions. The Tie Silencer and the Resistance Bomber are my favourite designs in all of the Sequels. Sadly I cannot see an up-scaled Bomber ever - more likely to see a smaller version! I could see a red mid-scale version, though. -

It sounds like diorama's and helmets have been replaced with mid-scale ships and busts. Time will tell if this is the case; it could well be that they rotate each year as helmets seemingly went and then came back in 2025. I would like this solution because it would make the 18+ feel less stagnant. With that being said, what could the busts sub-theme bring? Phase I Clone Trooper The Mandalorian Stormtrooper Darth Maul Boba Fett Ahsoka Tano Scout Trooper Not sure how they will do the human characters such as Luke and Anakin Skywalker. I do think mid-scale ships have not got too many years left, unless they go all in on the AT-AT style mid-scale. Mid-scale AT-TE Mid-Scale Republic Gunship Mid-scale Turbo Tank Mid-scale Frigate Mid-scale Imperial Shuttle Mid-scale Slave One Mid-scale AT-ST Walker Mid-scale GR-75 Transport Mid-scale RazorCrest -

Read this promotional article on LEGO.com. https://www.lego.com/en-gb/categories/adults-welcome/article/lego-star-wars-display Broad points: 1. UCS, Helmet Collection, Diorama’s, Starship Collection, buildable droids and characters, Brickheadz are targeted for adults. 2. These sets exist to counteract the space required for UCS sets. 3. Helmets are described as compact in all dimensions 4. Larger brickbuilt droids are described as a manageable size; Buildable characters do not need much space. 5. Starship collection is on a smaller scale, a “pocket friendly”, direct alternative to UCS “titans”. 6. Display is paramount to 18+ - “It’s time to move beyond the vision of great big museum-style display cases and prove that even a single shelf can become a striking LEGO Star Wars display“. Although is it not mentioned, it is hard not to assume downscaled play-scale sets follow this same line of thought so adults can display them and children can too if they want. At some point this design philosophy and strategy will move on. I am obsessed with how this might and should look because it’s going to define the next several years once it’s implemented. Ultimately, I think it’s created a stale environment but has skyrockets profits. I won’t critique this strategy, instead I have the following questions. 1. If LEGO follow this same philosophy above, how should they have done it and how should they now do it? 2. If LEGO were to move away from this philosophy, what should the future look like? -

Always thought the dining room would work well as a diorama, I was convinced a few years back we’d see it. Touché on the large scale Slave One.
