This is a cracking post to be honest. Sums up how I’ve been feeling for a while. I for one like the helmets. I’ve hated planet sets, action battle sets etc but these look solid. The problem is though that whilst the OT are the best films according to some there are plenty of people who grew up with the prequels/Clone Wars and its what made them fall in love with Star Wars. I also hate this perception that to be an AFOL you need to like the OT the most. People are growing up and those who were first exposed to Star Wars through the prequels are in their 20+ years now and thus are also AFOL’S hence why the hell not in having helmets based on prequel characters (Clone Trooper, Grievous, Battle Droid). Lego needs to hit the reset button and start focusing on figures/ships/vehicles we have never gotten before from the films. I for one would accept a Winter wave that’s OT heavy if I felt I got some new sets based on the prequels in the summer of vice versa. I also don’t mind the rehash of sets (Naboo Starfighter etc) aslong as they were accompanied with new or much needs re-releases of sets from that film also. They can even throw in 1/2 sets per year from the other films(sequel,solo etc)/shows/games to spice it up just like they did with the Old Republic sets.

The lack of prequel love makes me very sad aswell... Looked over the stormtrooper again and can see why people don’t like it.

Yes sorry, as you can see I’m a very sad person! Some decent sets to be fair that Lego will return to probably in 3/4 years or drip feed these sets.

**This is a RUMOUR and by no means confirmed** MandR has just posted a video claiming from a ‘source’ but admits he doesn’t know if to trust it, that 75280 will include 4 501st Clones and 2 Droids. Can anybody confirm if this is nonsense?

I agree I doubt we will see the summer sets. Can’t lie though it would be such a good marketing tool if they do have the new sets on show considering TCW returned yesterday. Would really drive the hype up.

Then again the angle of the entire set makes the engines look less extended out than they are via Instagram photos...which makes it look way better. Perhaps a tiny bit too long but in all honesty I’m not bothered.

Only bit that’s off is that the engines connected to the main part of the ship should be wider/more stretched out.

Was about to put this in myself. The fact it has come from Lego directly I reckon suggests a new The Mandalorian figure. The set might even have minor updates to what we see now. Perhaps the rushed nature of this set explains the rumour of cancelled sets- just me speculating!

Can’t imagine Lego reducing previous price points considering the inflation and pattern of rising prices recently.

I had in mind a Dropship with AT-TE. But the last Dropship was more expensive than $199.99 so I’m not sure.
