LEGO Star Wars 2022 Set Discussion - READ FIRST POST!!!

I don’t mind the tank. Figures are excellent so I’ll buy it. Let’s wait for official pictures guys before opinions because the picture we have is far from flattering! -

Waited for official pics. Quote sets are promising and likeable but in my mind they don’t look worth the money based on the eye test. Trench run is poor, whilst the Trash Compactor seems innovative and fun, which I respect. Dagobah Training is ok, nothing exciting there. Interesting to see if, and what, they do next. Need to lower the prices, mind, for these to be a success. -

Pretty sure both Promobricks and Stonewars have both not said it’s an Andor set either… They are assuming. Shows how quickly rumours and false expectations are produced in the community. @Mandalorianknight and others… Oh, the 4+ set is Endor-based with an Ewok and Stormtrooper. Have not seen anyone mention it, even thought it’s not a very exciting set. Here’s hoping the Ewok is new and stands out - Lego will have my money then! -

No reason to think 75338 is anything special such as an Andor set. Lego recently has released a set that comes out in September - RazorCrest, Mandalorian Forge. Again, seems to me these leakers have made ‘educated’ guesses just like they did with Jango’s Slave One and the Gunship. I therefore think it’s nonsense. -

Probably slightly bigger and a better interior to fit the Clone Troopers from the pack, and the Dwarf Spider droid. Might have a Droideka too… -

260 piece Fighter tank? That cannot be right, even less then the previous which was 300+. -

Promobricks speculated the set number but they’ve confirmed its 75337. -

Interesting. We all knew the Gunship rumours were nonsense let’s be real. Here’s hoping the AT-TE has some new figures and more then the standard 5/6. -

I don’t think there is a Gunship, but I’ll add the minifigures I would want along with the AT-TE AT-TE: Shaak Ti, Pablo-Jill, Clone Captain, Clone Trooper, Super Battle Droid (x2) Gunship: Yoda, Ki-adi-Mundi, Kit Fisto, Clone Pilot (x2), Clone Lieutenant, Geonosian Battle Droid Commander, Geonosian Battle Droid -

I was referring to the other new, I assume, Inquisitor, not the Fifth Brother, even though admittedly he would be new anyway as it’s Liveaction. -

I think the Grand Inquisitor will be important, but we know he lives of course so I don’t think he’s the focus. -

I still wish it was the brown clones from s7, but these are still great. I have not been enthused by a Lego set for a while! Hopefully the AT-TE is good too, and fingers crossed the Gunship is real! -

I told you all it was true. My sources are good. I don’t make it up for the sake of it! They look amazing, and I’m hoping the set is bigger than previous which it seems! -

I’d like to see Lego tackle less original, or not yet released in Lego form sets when there are 20th anniversaries, or similar. Here’s a few of my ideas from the films! (I’ll update this post with figures etc, but I’d love people to do the same! Whilst it’s nice to have AT TE’s etc it would be so refreshing to get an SPHA-T for example) ANH Lars Homestead, Mos Eisley Cantina expansion, Death Star Detention Hall, MBS Yavin IV Temple, Tantive IV Hall, 18 + Imperial Council Room ESB Tie Bomber, Hoth Wampa Cave, Cloud Car, Bespin Junkyard, GR-75 Transport, UCS Nebulon B Frigate ROTJ Endor Speeder Chase, MBS Endor (Generator/Landing pad/forest/Ewok Village), Endor Rebels Minifigure pack, Tie Interceptor, Millenium Falcon (Lando, Nien Numb, rebels from deleted scene), Desert Skiff/Jabba’s Sail Barge (2/3 new aliens e.g., Pote Snitkin, Brock Starsher), 18+ Home One Cruiser Bridge TPM Naboo Royal Starship, Skywalker Homestead, Gian Speeder, Trade Federation Landing Craft, Mos Espa Podrace (more accessories, new pods), Naboo Starfighter (using new techniques) AOTC Geonosian Starfighter, Republic Dropship, Republic Acclamator, Republic SPHA-T, Count Dooku’s Solar Sailor, Coruscant Airspeeder Chase, Dexter’s Diner, Jango’s Slave One, Padme’s Nubian Yacht ROTS Invisible Hand, Arc-170, Wookie Catamaran, Senate Duel, Battle Droid Transporter (only released TPM version), Republic Gunship (Utapau), Blue Jedi Interceptor, Venator Class Cruiser -

Exactly this. Although, I think the command station will fit in the vehicle and I’m not sure the AT TE will have space, so could be a Gunship. But yes, Gunship next year imo. -

I agree. No reason why a Gunship for example couldn’t be named in the original list. I doubt it’s coming. -

Why would Promobricks etc not be able to obtain the set names for the two we are missing? Does this allude to the fact Lego are keeping them under wraps because they are based off of new content not yet seen, and hence it is not a Gunship etc? -

Haha, people and businesses are hilarious. That’s their reputation down the drain. Stupid, misleading click bait nonsense. Then again, the Lego community is full of it. A quick glance on YouTube and type Lego Star Wars and you see it.
