Republic Gunship £159.99: Ahsoka Tano, Commander Rex, Clone Pilot (Mint Green), 332nd Trooper (x2, one with Jetpack), Rook Kast, Mandalorian Super Commando I think they’d save Rex for a more prominent set than Bad Batch, personally.

I think a Republic Gunship is inevitable for Summer 2023. The era it’s from, however, has many potentialities… Episode 2: New Clone Pilot, red/blue/green/purple Clone Troopers, exclusive Jedi (with Geonosis dirt specs like UCS gunship), Count Dooku and his speeder Episode 3: Arresting Palpatine version OR the conversation on the Gunship when Mace says “I don’t trust him”. Clone Wars s7: Annaxes Version (MY IDEAL FAVOURITE because of Mace Windu Clones) or Siege on Mandalore. New clone Pilots (mint green one, I’d love!), Mando Super Commando’s, Rex, and Rook Kast.

I’ve been purchasing a few sets for future investment one being the Fighter tank. Box was literally open and all battered so I finally caved and built it the other day (without the stickers, that really affects my enjoyment and experience of Lego tbh). Needless to say, I love the set. As a kid I’d have loved it completely. Minfigures are exceptional too. Shame one of my Clone had a reasonably-sized spec in the grey detailing ok the helmet.

Discussion in the 2023 forum got me thinking about my top 5 most wanted sets from each main era (OT, PT, ST). Because of the Clone Wars’ rise once again, I’ve added those in too, and unlike Lego, I have treated them distinctly from Episode 2. If a few of these come true, I am eating well. Yeah I get that, but I wouldn’t use your solution as the solution to availability issues. Lego need to increase production, and hopefully they’d have learnt from this year.

I like the ideas, but genuinely couldn’t think of anything worse.

Such a missed opportunity! I guess if the Officer has a cloth pauldron in the game then you’re right. You’re also right about Mando sets! (The marauder is good!)

Based on the 2023 set list, the minifigure packs could be as following… Endor Rebel Troopers - Rebel Commando, Rebel Soldier (x2) - Speeder Bike, repeating cannon Seperatist Forces - STAP - Heavy, Officer, Specialist Or Rebel Fleet Trooper - Rebel Fleet Trooper (x3) - Watchtower, Turret Why Endor = diorama Battlefront 2 = 501st Fleet Troopers = Tie Bomber

Even that isn’t/wasn’t bad. First set to have The Child, and a cheap way to get Mando. Relative to the other, yes fair.

Mando sets never usually disappoint.

It’s the closest thing I can come to that looks like a “Commander” - what else could it be? I doubt it’s the Officer class as that doesn’t have the look of a Commander.

Nah, hardly anyone would want sequel sets over anything else Star Wars related. Obviously it’s not fact, but I think it is very clearly. Hence, calling it naive is just ridiculous. As for your own personal opinion, I do, somewhat agree! I’d love to see more prequel sets such as a Naboo Starship, but it wouldn’t sell anywhere near as well as the Clone Wars stuff. It’s the same for Disney + stuff, especially BoBF. Agreed. Resistance Lander, Red Version of the Resistance Bomber, Resistance Transports, Treadable Tank (W/Lando), First Order UA-TT, Exegol. Hopefully, in time, the sequels are viewed more fondly. Right now, the new content will restrict that.

I just would have liked an extra stormtrooper, or Officer. Heck even a new Jetpack Stormtrooper from battlefront. Anything really to give it that extra flavour.

The officer could be the infiltration class, so a standard Arc Trooper. I think everyone would prefer that.

People knew about them a while earlier, it was just obscure as it was the first year. I can’t see why they’d stop releasing them, they’ve been highly successful… ;) I hope so, but I think you’ve answered it perfectly here. It’s similar to the Imperial Shuttle… That shuttle would have been so much better with a speeder bike and scout trooper… or just a stormtrooper lol and no bike.

I am absolutely convinced, beyond convinced actually, we will see all the legions at some point. We called the 2011-2014 era the “golden age”, 2020-2030 I’m convinced must be the “clone era”. Lego has realised the insane market for clone troopers and vehicles, and they’re not too difficult to do providing you don’t exhaust clone vehicles. Look, I’m not overly keen on the 501st specialists, because I’d rather an Arf Trooper, an AT-RT Driver, and the Utapau clones (one in grievous Starfighter…can’t remember and cba to check). However, it’s a clear sign Clone minifigures are here to stay. Anybody else super excited for the Tie Bomber, but feel Lego have missed an opportunity with the figures? - Perfect set for Ozzel

I was skipping through the Lego Star Wars alleyway today. Battle packs and Andor, wow. Was it a dream?

I am very surprised these sets have not been released. Great ideas, would love them. I think a new Plo Koon would suit the Arc-170 perfectly.

Yeah definitely this part, with a sticker, of course. The thing is the Naboo Starship in universe doesn’t have weaponry, although I agree it should have something weapon wise. So much functionality in that MOC regardless. The back of the box would look amazing.
