Wishlist: Future Star Wars Sets and Minifigures
ArrowBricks replied to MKJoshA's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Recently, I watched this video - His rendition of the Naboo Royal Starship, which is designed with a framework Lego designers adopt focusing on play and re-enacting scenes from the movies, is superb. Obviously a small accurate windshield piece is needed and I think the main part of the ship is a tad skinny, but Lego could do a great job with a set like this. All of the features in the video id keep, except perhaps on either side of the throne chair I’d prefer the sampling stations used by Kenobi for Anakin’s midi-chlorian count. It is a shame another Astromech couldn’t be added, too. I would omit Jar Jar, sadly in favour of Ric Olie. lego set 7101 will accompany the set, as partially shown by the video, too. Obviously Darth Maul’s speeder will be a modern rendition we are used to seeing, and the moister evaporator would be a nice touch. Finally, with the combination of metallic grey etc used in Mando’s N1 Starfighter, I think it’s a perfect time for this set. Naboo Royal Starship (950 pieces, £119.99): Ric Olie, Captain Paneka, Padme Amidala, Qui-Gon-Jinn, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Anakin Skywalker, R2-D2, Darth Maul This set could later be accompanied by a Naboo Royal Starfighter and a Vulture Droid. @Mandalorianknight - I’d love to see you attempt it one day. -

Highly doubt it. Never know, though. -
I’m the opposite. Love the “blue people”. I do love the Mech, and the colonel too. Just wish the Mech was slightly bigger. I loved the movie, and I love the sets. They aren’t amazing, but they have a charm to them I appreciate. I never thought we’d get sets so that is amazing. Lego are absolutely right to make sets based on Avatar. The new film will be massive. Everybody knows Avatar, and everyone knows it’s impact. The fact there will be more films IS HUGE. The theme, fingers crossed will be a great success. I think the sets will be great. Only issue for me is the price as some do look small.

I love the Hailfire Droid. Man, I was so excited in 2015 for it and then so disappointed. Even the 2007 one wasn’t great. I would love this. Hailfire Droid £29.99: Geonosian Battle Droid (x2), Geonosian Battle Droid Commander, Shaak Ti, Clone Sergeant However, I don’t think we will see any accompanying set. Lego will say the Spider Droid and the 3 battle droids will do. Fingers crossed for a Crab Droid, though. -

I get what you’re saying, but it really isn’t. The camera and the minifigure aren’t flat and in line, so to speak . I’m not saying it’s going to magically look good, but reactions such as the one displayed by yourself are perhaps, premature. I don’t think you’ll ever like it, but you might have different opinions once more photos with new angles are shown. Yes, this. Reactionary central this forum is, which is its function, I suppose. -

The camera angle won’t help. We never learn. Wait until more photos just like with loads of other sets E.g., Fighter Tank. -
Indiana Jones 2023 - Rumors & Discussion
ArrowBricks replied to Pulp Detective's topic in LEGO Licensed
I think it will get some sets based on the new film afterwards alongside some either sets from the old films. I suspect it will be 2023 and 2024. A total of 3-4 waves. -

Loving this news. I agree with theories the final set will be based on the Crystal Skull. Exciting. Here is hoping the film is good! I reckon we might get a couple of ways, Atleast I hope. Love this theme, it is so nostalgic. -

It has just dawned on me. The reason the Clone Commander was in the Clone Episode 2 blister pack was because Lego have given us the opportunity to use that Clone as an AT TE Driver if we choose to use the AT TE releasing this summer as episode 2 and fill it with regular Phase I clone troopers. -

Oh trust me, they do this often. Just let it slide it won’t change. They don’t realise the meaning evoked of taking sides as an endorsement of opinions and sides. Don’t get me wrong, the comment is funny, and I think you’re being slightly dramatic if I’m being honest. Either way, comments shouldn’t be deleted like that without the others also. Following the mantra to stay on target, when do we think we will hear about the UCS RazorCrest and the 2023 wave? (august?) -

Ladies and gentlemen, I think it’s time to start thinking about 2023 predictions… In all honesty, I have not got a clue. Andor, Bad Batch s2, Kenobi could all see sets. Mando s3, and Ahsoka I think will be summer wave. There is a tendency to focus on OT in this now, small wave. It’s gone ANH, ESB, so naturally I’m inclined to think it could be ROTJ. Maybe, we will see a B-Wing and Tie Interceptor with an Endor Forces Battle Pack. Who knows. I’ll post some ideas in due course, but very excited to see what other people think! You know me, I love set ideas from others. -

4+ is ok, nothing major. Enjoyable set I reckon for the age range. Nice figures for us oldies. Price, nobody will be at retail. -

AT TE is a top top top set. One of the best sets released in the last 5 years, hands down. The Justifier is really cool too, just a discount is needed. Overall, the summer wave was solid. Major improvements. Good job Lego. -

I usually am really passionate about sets, particularly their quality. This, however, is genuinely laughable. How have the designers let this pass. Hilarious. -

The Scythe is a brilliant brilliant set. One extra figure probably was needed, but in truth it’s not the end of the world. The Starfighter, has excellent minifgures. I love Taun We, and Kenobi is a nice change. However, I am not happy with the Starfighter. I do not understand the obsession with making the cockpit higher to accommodate the Astromech body. I’m really disappointed because the ship is so good in universe! It needs to be flatter, let alone more pointy at the front. It could be a case that in person the set looks better, but the pictures don’t look good. I remember the 2017 version was ridiculed and then people slowly appreciated it. -

A good wave. Feel like it needs an extra set though, probably another cheap one in the £20-£30 range. -
