If this was a Winter 2025 set list (thus ROTS anniversary), would you be underwhelmed? I’ve tried to make it realistic by not just doing ROTS as Lego would typically do, and include some more generic ships/vehicles from a wide array of media. Sith Trooper BP, Jar Jar Binks bust, Sandtrooper and Death Star Gunner helmet, Luke’s Landspeeder, First Order Tie Fighter, Anakin’s Jedi Starfighter, and Battle Droid Troop Carrier (Rots) We also have 3 quote sets: Battle on Hoth, Death Star Detention Cell, and Lars Homestead.

I thoroughly enjoyed it too, and have complete faith that it will continue to be great. Regarding the set, I just wish the wings were a little longer and it came with another enemy/guard figure. It was a really cool scene for sure. I can totally see why people would want to buy multiples as someone above has done :)

The rumours are 5-6 minifigures. I think they’ll play it relatively safe. Jabba, Boushh Leia, Han Solo, Bib Fortuna, C3-PO I think are definitely going to be included. (then either Skiff Lando, Gamorrean Guard, or if the Carbonite mould classes as a figure)

Congratulations! Honestly this is mega work! Really really love how my Geonosian swarm set turned out! Definitely highlights how the Starfighter can be officially improved! Get on it lego! I also love the Hoth set; for all the iterations over the years, you’ve managed to make yours feel new and novel. Overall, all are excellent! You have a real talent: sign him up Lego Star Wars team!

The 501st set also doesn’t include a dwarf spider droid. Instead a small AV-7 cannon; 2014 release, whilst it will be more like the 2012 elite clone trooper BP I reckon. As per Promobricks, of course.

Republic Gunship £159.99: Ahsoka Tano, Commander Rex, Clone Pilot (Mint Green), 332nd Trooper (x2, one with Jetpack), Rook Kast, Mandalorian Super Commando I think they’d save Rex for a more prominent set than Bad Batch, personally.

I think a Republic Gunship is inevitable for Summer 2023. The era it’s from, however, has many potentialities… Episode 2: New Clone Pilot, red/blue/green/purple Clone Troopers, exclusive Jedi (with Geonosis dirt specs like UCS gunship), Count Dooku and his speeder Episode 3: Arresting Palpatine version OR the conversation on the Gunship when Mace says “I don’t trust him”. Clone Wars s7: Annaxes Version (MY IDEAL FAVOURITE because of Mace Windu Clones) or Siege on Mandalore. New clone Pilots (mint green one, I’d love!), Mando Super Commando’s, Rex, and Rook Kast.

I’ve been purchasing a few sets for future investment one being the Fighter tank. Box was literally open and all battered so I finally caved and built it the other day (without the stickers, that really affects my enjoyment and experience of Lego tbh). Needless to say, I love the set. As a kid I’d have loved it completely. Minfigures are exceptional too. Shame one of my Clone had a reasonably-sized spec in the grey detailing ok the helmet.

Discussion in the 2023 forum got me thinking about my top 5 most wanted sets from each main era (OT, PT, ST). Yeah I get that, but I wouldn’t use your solution as the solution to availability issues. Lego need to increase production, and hopefully they’d have learnt from this year.

I like the ideas, but genuinely couldn’t think of anything worse.

Such a missed opportunity! I guess if the Officer has a cloth pauldron in the game then you’re right. You’re also right about Mando sets! (The marauder is good!)

Even that isn’t/wasn’t bad. First set to have The Child, and a cheap way to get Mando. Relative to the other, yes fair.

Mando sets never usually disappoint.

It’s the closest thing I can come to that looks like a “Commander” - what else could it be? I doubt it’s the Officer class as that doesn’t have the look of a Commander.

Nah, hardly anyone would want sequel sets over anything else Star Wars related. Obviously it’s not fact, but I think it is very clearly. Hence, calling it naive is just ridiculous. As for your own personal opinion, I do, somewhat agree! I’d love to see more prequel sets such as a Naboo Starship, but it wouldn’t sell anywhere near as well as the Clone Wars stuff. It’s the same for Disney + stuff, especially BoBF. Agreed. Resistance Lander, Red Version of the Resistance Bomber, Resistance Transports, Treadable Tank (W/Lando), First Order UA-TT, Exegol. Hopefully, in time, the sequels are viewed more fondly. Right now, the new content will restrict that.

I just would have liked an extra stormtrooper, or Officer. Heck even a new Jetpack Stormtrooper from battlefront. Anything really to give it that extra flavour.

The officer could be the infiltration class, so a standard Arc Trooper. I think everyone would prefer that.
