I lied about being vanilla because I had no idea yet what was going on. It was an impulsive response and yeah, it was the wrong call to make. As said repeatedly, I knew your supposed cop was wrong, I knew my kill didn't work right, and I was trying to figure it all out. I was HOPING that enough people would be around that I could explain and talk reason into people and not have to out myself as vig. I didn't counterclaim because at the time I didn't trust you at all. When you threw out a whole list of people that supposedly claimed, no, I didn't counterclaim and I hope no one else would either, since you weren't cleared at all and it could easily have been a scum ploy to catch the real roles. Honestly, the news about the watcher seeing my hit on Shirley made me trust you more. No idea about the watcher seeing the redirect. Depends on exactly what happened and how bob plays it - it's possible that the redirect was targetting Sarah and the new target is random, or whatever. I don't know. And no, I don't think you're scum. But you DID lie, and that needs to be remembered even if it isn't lynchable.

No, I was NOT investigated as scum. I was seen killing shirley. That is NOT the same thing! Yeah, I addressed all that in my vig claim post. I said no role because I was trying to figure out what happened - since I got a "success" PM on my kill but Sarah wasn't dead, and then I get told I was investigated as scum which could NOT be true, I was trying to buy time. That was a mistake in retrospect, since hardly anyone's been around since then and I got pounded with votes. And I can't speak to any other vig claims. Could be the SK trying to get into the "town block" by befriending Al? (seen that one happen!) So yeah, I expect to get lynched in a few hours. When I flip town, remember that Al lied, your vig is dead, and whoever the other vig claim was needs to be outed and lynched. Good luck town, you'll needed it when you won't listen to simple reason or even show up. When the mod has to poke people to post, that's not good for the town.

Figured that'd be y'all's response, but you're wrong. And I've offered a way to prove that I'm right, but you're not listening. Sure, lynching me will show the truth, but when I flip town tomorrow, we'll be out a vig and then you'll still have to hunt for the redirector and have Al as a liar. If you test me, we can lynch someone who's possibly an actual scum, keep a townie alive, and keep the vig in the game. Yeah, you're wrong and I explained it. My PM just said that my kill was successful, but it didn't specify WHO was killed. So when day 2 began, I saw Sarah alive and 3 dead, so I knew something weird happened. Since a fake scum report on me was posted by Al, I asked bob if something had been done wrong overnight. He said no, so then I knew Al was lying for sure and something weird happened with my kill. A redirect of some sort is the only explanation I can come up with.

Ok, time to clear the air. Here's the facts: 1. Al lied. Flat out lied saying there was a cop result that I was scum. He's admitted it himself. 2. I didn't respond much at first because I KNEW that was a lie, and I wanted to see how it played out. Find out whether Al was lying or a claimed cop or what. We've gotten that answer now. 3. I AM THE TOWN VIG 4. I tried to kill Sarah, was told via PM that I was successful in my kill, but she was still alive. That's why I was confused... I knew something weird had happened. 5. So, Al now says a watcher saw me target Shirley. So my conclusion is there's a redirector of some sort that changed my kill of Sarah into me killing Shirley. Sucks, since that's NOT who I wanted to kill. There's the facts. If you lynch me today, we'll be losing the vig and you'll see tomorrow that I'm townie as can be. I do understand why I'm under massive suspicion, so here's another way to put me to the test. I'll withhold my kill tonight and let the cop check me out. He/she will confirm I'm town, and then I can get back to hunting scum with you. And if you want to waste the abilities, have the tracker on me as well to verify that I do NOT kill (which will also be confirmed by one less kill overnight) So, test me. Lynch someone else and test me overnight. That way the town keeps the vig (albeit an outed vig, so likely to get night killed at any point by the scum) and we don't waste a lynch on a townie. Day 1 did good, getting a scum lynched, let's keep it up. Oh, and while I'm at it: Vote: Sarah Harris (jackjonespaw) since my vig kill failed. Don't know whether it was a redirector targetting me and re-aiming my kill or some sort of deflection ability protecting her, but either way, she's still pinging me. (oh, and you're probably wondering why I voted Sarah instead of Al, since i'm obviously pissed that he lied. He did lie, but I don't think it's because he's scum. I think he just made a bad play as town. For whatever reason he didn't think the watcher claim against me would be enough so he exaggerated. The watcher claim alone I could defend against, like I did. But a flat out scum-read from a cop? That's surely a lynch. So he overplayed the info, but I don't think he did it maliciously, I think he just made a bad judgement call and lied)

Thank you! Finally, one person here with a brain. Yes, I understand why everyone is voting against me, (and I'd be doing it in your place), but still... Al has felt weird this whole game so far. It's INSANE that a ton of people already claimed roles to him. He is in NO WAY cleared yet! More importantly, I KNOW that someone is lying. He is, or the claimed cop is. Or said cop is paranoid / insane, since I know he's wrong to say I'm scum. In fact, he's SO wrong to say that that I double checked with the bob to make sure no wrong info was sent out. So, just know that tomorrow, you need to find out who this claimed cop is and kill them. Or Al if he's the one behind the whole thing...

Hey! Not cool to say I'm scum. I'm not. Either your cop is lying, YOU are lying (heck, you might not even have been in contact with a claimed cop!), or I got framed. Yeah, sucks to be me right now since I'm sure none of you will believe me. Wish I had a grand role to claim and save myself, but I don't. So assuming you carry out my lynch, when I flip town tomorrow, LYNCH AL! Seriously, think for a second. Yesterday Al made a claim under pressure. Succeeded in saving himself, but we got a scummo anyway. But now that he's sorta trusted, he's starting to throw out other accusations and seeing how long he can keep it going. When I flip town, he'll either claim I must have been framed or his "cop" lied to him. Probably that the cop lied and he'll give a name, you'll lynch that cop, and the "cop" will flip town too. He's just manipulating all of you to kill off the town.

Absolutely. Still think there's a possibility you're scum too. The only people I know are myself and the dead. Otherwise, nope, no one I trust here at all yet. Now, would I vote Sarah again right now? Not sure, haven't decided on my first vote today yet. But I'm not against voting her either yet. No, not accusing you of not being clairvoyant. Accusing you of voting just to be early on a bandwagon. You flat out said that's why you voted Sarah was to jump on a wagon, not because you had a real reason. And that's a poor way to vote. When I voted Sarah I made a case and wanted others to follow. You did, but for the wrong reason.

Hm, so much pinging my scumdar here. Glad that "you guys" were right, not "we the town"? I suppose you could be just meaning "you, the bandwagon that lynched a scum" but it still feels awkwardly worded to be a townie statement. Second, you're admitting the reason you voted Sarah with me was just to jump on a bandwagon you hoped would go somewhere? Not because you thought she was scum? And third, so you're just a milano goon, not a scum role since you're asking to be tracked? Could you BE more blatant about it? When are people going to learn patience around here? Every game there's quick claims to people who should not be fully trusted yet. Yes, I suspect you're truly town and the tracker, but there's no confirmation on that. I sure wouldn't be claiming COP to you yet! Good news is they're probably telling the truth since scum couldn't have found and killed the cop this fast, unless they had some sort of day role cop.

I think that might be a first in my experience, actually lynching a scum on day 1. Good job to the bandwagon! Still think it was more luck than actual scumhunting, but I'll take it. Now, to examine the pictures for clues....

Glad to see you gave yourself the editing penalty votes, but shouldn't that be 10 votes and you've lynched yourself, since you've edited posts at least twice that I've seen? More importantly - for all you whiny nay-sayers, look - we just went from basically no votes to more than enough to lynch Brian in just a few hours. So why all the whining about "it's too late to change, it's too late to bring up new people, it's too late to xxxxx"? However, I'm not switching. I have a REASON to vote for Sarah. I see the votes on Brian as just a bunch of bandwagoning. Look how many of you gave NO REASON (except perhaps "because we need a lynch, which isn't really a scum-hunting reason. It's ok for day 1, since we DO need a lynch to examine tomorrow, but since you all just played follow the leader, there's not a ton to learn from it). Yeah, I'm noting it and will be watching you. (and also, there's no need for me to switch. At the risk of being hypocritical, yeah, if it was right before the deadline and we were one vote short of lynching whoever and I was around, I'd switch. But since we're already over 10, there's no need for me to pile on)

Have you never seen how these lynch mobs form? There's still many hours (8 and change by my math) left, MORE than enough time for a case to be built and someone be lynched. If anything, you should realize that someone with a role claim on day one will not get lynched. It just makes no sense to. If it's a lie, we'll deal with that later, but no one with half a brain will lynch a roleclaim day 1 unless there's a counterclaim. So if anything, YOU are the one causing a potential no-lynch today.

Dang, what a way to start a bandwagon. You vote for Al with a little actual logic behind it (emphasis on little though) and suddenly Greg, Louis, Ace, and Linda all jump on. That was a fast wagon! I can't see the scum team all being THAT blatant, but I sure think there's some scum in there. Eh, I guess I did get a little worked up there. Just tired of seeing people beaten up on day 1 over nothing. I'm inclined to believe this. Frankly, the explanation of title vs action makes me believe you a little more, but we'd better see some results to back it up. (and yes, I know tracker is a low-chance of result role, but if you're batting zero for a long time.... watcher would be a lot easier to ensure a result since I can think of a couple people in town almost certain to get visitors tonight, but whatever) Now, who to vote for? Al's out of the running as far as I'm concerned for today, and the rest just feel bandwagony as opposed to legitimate vote candidates. Time to do some actual research. I just took a look down the list of people and noted who I couldn't remember anything about (ie they're not posting much) - then looked at their post counts. A couple had a decent number of posts, but I still couldn't remember them saying anything, so time to check the thread. Turns out that one I checked had actually been pretty active in the discussion today, just not one of the most vocal. The other, well, fluff posts until things got more serious, and then just a single half-hearted post about voting and a bandwagony vote placed. Looks to me like trying to be busy at first when it's easy to say lots of nothing, and then when it started to matter, disappear rather than get caught doing anything suspicious. So I'm going to Vote: Sarah Harris (JackJonesPaw) I do understand that it's late to be starting a new lynchee, but since things have changed dramatically with Al's announcement, I expect a bunch of people will be looking for somewhere new to vote. Plus I will be around the rest of the day to see how things go. If no one agrees with me, I can change, since a lynch (except for Al or myself, since we're the only two I have townreads on, and it's only a townlean on him for now) is better than nolynch.

My Lego shop always has the early access sets on the shelf. You just have to have a VIP account to actually but, but like others said, people can just open a vip account on the spot so it's not really a limitation. -
And wow, day 1 is off to the usual start. Someone throws out a vote, someone scummily jumps on it, someone else lazily says they might join the bandwagon... now, not saying I have anything more solid to vote with yet, but we've got multiple people jumping on gregory here with NO basis. Oh sorry, "general scumminess" - aka made 3 fluffy, role-playing posts so far in the start of day 1 WHERE YOU"RE SUPPOSED TO DO THAT. Hey, I have ZERO evidence that Greg is town or scum or 3rd party, but that also means I sure don't have any reason to vote him off yet. I'm HOPING that Shelly was just throwing a name out to see who jumps on it - seems like she's really anxious to get past the donut talk and get serious - but considering how day 1 lynches go, why not (if she's scum) do exactly this? Throw a name out knowing it can't really ever be held against you, watch everyone jump on the bandwagon, and know you're lynching a townie rather than risk the same thing happening to a Milano? Not a bad plan actually.
