Blakbird, based on your fictional actuators above, this is what I had in mind using efferman's actuator with the L Motor. Of course, I had to make a rough representation of his 3D printed part. The cylinder is supposed to have a 3 stud diameter, but the length is about right. I think it's about 30 studs long. The whole thing would pivot where your fictional ones do. Here is the idea at Bricksafe. http://bricksafe.com...jpg/640x139.jpg

Thank you, rollermonkey. I had read about the 2L Liftarms on another part of the forum, so ordered those. I have enough of the others, too.

Apparently the white nylon is fairly tough, according to several posts under that topic. If the efferman LA (above) was mounted to the boom, and an L motor mounted to the superstructure to drive it, would the LBG Universal Joint have enough angular travel to drive the boom up to its 80 degree or so angle? Don't know if I asked that properly, but would the U-Joint be able to still operate at that kind of angle?

Rollermonkey, the black gear is put on that axle in Step 4, Page 64. Is there room to add this bushing ( ) as a spacer?

New ABS or Process for (Technic) Parts?

There is a significant mold finish time difference between a matte finish, and a shiny one. Matte finish would allow them to get a mold to the production floor faster. -

Waler, you've captured the rugged look of the real trucks like andythenorth posted above. Well done. -
Thank you, Theo. I ended up with 164 Lots, 1372 items, $452 Value, but close to your results.

The BrickStore GMK6400 complete parts list is loaded, and all the Ultimate 42009 parts are showing negative numbers, and are red. Is there a way to have BrickStore actually remove those items? I can't seem to find a way to do that, so that all I have left are the additional parts I need to order for the GMK6400.

Second that motion. I started working through the online Help files for MLCad the other day. Steep learning curve. -
Magnificent. The broken stonework at the bridge is incredibly well done. Your attention to detail is unmatched.

What a rugged looking machine. Well done, and great presentation. Thank you for posting it. These projects are sure inspiring for this new member. Based on what I've seen on this Forum, all you have to do is show one picture of this project to Blakbird, and he'll have the instructions finished in about 3 days! -
Sorry to break it to you guys, but the box sizes are actually the sheet cardboard sizes before die cutting. These are all going to be just Minifigs for 2015!
