Hello Kroom, you did a really good job on this model. The idea with micro trophys as a crew is briliant. I supported on ideas and I also told you my worries about this landing gear (I'm sure that yours could not be retracted). I have spent some time thinking about possible solution and I made this sketchy idea. Millennium falcon landing gear.lxf (I hope you can download this .lxf file) I'm using the skeleton legs to reach the desired length of the stands. I also recommend to add these modified plates with slide - it makes pulling out by fingernails easier. You couls also replace the skeleton legs with exo-force robot legs, these have the same dimensions. I have used skeleton because I liked it better. I hope it can be useful. Regards, Krištof

Hey Jackson, Yes, I'm planning to expand the fleet and build other scaled starships. In case you had any suggestion for exact one, I'd be glad to hear from you. You are right - the odds for my models to be succesfull on LEGO Ideas are rather low. Still, there is a hope. These creations were originally conceived as projects for LEGO Cuusoo - everything went according to that choice. Size, part choice, bulding methods, respect to rigidity etc. My main motivation was to point out the advantages of these MIDI-Scale starships (affordability, playability...) and to find out as if it makes good impression. I personally would love to inspire TLG to produce their very own product line. Even if they did without colaboration with me, I'd be happy enough. In these days, roughly 2 years ago, everything seemd different and I evaluated the odds as pretty promissing. Unfortunately, the design stage took way longer than I expected (especially for Venator, which I spent over a year on till I was finally sattisfied) - partially because of my desire to make really good creations with no werak points to maximize the chances in review, but also due to the lack of time during terms. All of this resulted in submiting my entries after Cuusoo rebirth to Ideas, unfortunately during it's most inactive/pending state. From the first day, both of my models suffer from lack of publicity since it has never featured on page with new ideas or in any other highlighting section. I still believe there are enough of SW fans to appreciate these builds and to support them. True, even if it reaches 10K, still nothing is granted. But I think it's worth a try. Sharing the building instruction is not conflict with my approach. As I stated above, I do count with releasing either building instructions or LXF file as soon as the support on Ideas is significant. I really expected it to be faster, kinda disappointed with current support growth. I'll wait till Chtistmas and if the support stays miserable, I'll release the instructions anyway. I hope you understand my points. If you think you could help the support a little bit, even just by telling few freinds about the ships, I'd be grateful. Kristof

Battle For The Golden Mask Competition: Discussion Thread
Kristof replied to VBBN's topic in LEGO Action Figures
Great, thanks for fast reply Julie. Well it's true that this restriction can be derivated from rule 4 or rule 8, nevertheless I think it would be worth to mention this as a separate point exactly for digital entries. Regards Krištof EDIT: Oh and ome more thing: Do Thechnic Bricks belongs to Technic or System parts? Or even better, is there any distribution catalogue saying which part belongs to where? For sure, there is no doubt about that on mosts parts but some of them (like technic bricks) I wouldn't be secure with. -

Battle For The Golden Mask Competition: Discussion Thread
Kristof replied to VBBN's topic in LEGO Action Figures
Hello, first of, thank you very much for such an amazing contest... whoa! I'd like to ask about restrictions regarding digital entries: Is there any obligation only to use existing colors of used parts? Ie. does the entry have to be "buldabe" in real from available parts? Thanks for clarification. Krištof -
Hello Markus, This creation of yours is fairly and honestly the BEST Star Wars diorama I have ever seen. Starting with the amazing tile-work on the ground, passing through wonderful details on buildings to great action in minifig layout. I'm literarly mind-blown by this. So much great job! Congratz on making this reparkable piece of lego art. Krištof

Hello, for now, I can't. I'm sorry but I'm holding the announcement of building instructions as the act of gratitude when my priject reaches some good number of supporters on LEGO Ideas. The easiest way you can fasten the process up is to SUPPORT the projects and share within your friends. I hope you understand :) Krištof

Oh, ok, I got the point: You have to choose your three most favorite entries for both Category A and Category B incorrectly interpreted. My bad and I'm sorry for confusion. Kris -

Hello kevkipo, I guess that your vote would not count unless you choose 3 from category B, at least that is how I understood the rules. Kris -
Hi Jamie, the exact parts count can be found in the updated description on lego ideas: https://ideas.lego.com/projects/71409 https://ideas.lego.com/projects/74229 It's over 600 for the Invisible Hand and around 1500 for Venator.

What you say is pretty utopian. Most people having some points to complain in this thread (including me) don't say that the model is bad. In contrary, most of them say its excellent except some certain points. Like for me, 75% of this model truly amazed me. However, these wing mechanizm bonnets are big disapointment for me and it literarly ruins the overal impression from this, otherwise wonderful, model. Thats it and I don't think there's something wrong neither on having such an oppinion, nor on sharing it. Thats what the discussion forum is for. I'm sorry if that bothers you so much but constructive critisism is also good feedback for designers. If only fanatic admirers speak, theres no feedback at all. Kris

Man I so much agree with you on this wing issue :/ For me it pretty much ruins the whole design and it's really sad because the rest of the ship looks fantastic. I wonder how the designer who creates such a wonderful shape can make errors like this. They could have made a new part if necessary since they are easy to create new windscreen.
