    Cool design.. Reminds me a bit of the James Bond movie The Living Daylights where the cellist gets on a tram like this only in red.

    Very nice MOD, I do like the fire escape on the building. I just started with building the DO and only went through bags 1 until now. I must say I like the building techniques and the design of 'The Highlander' pool room. Compared to the GE there is a lot of variation to the building techniques. So so far no complaints with the DO... Well maybe one and that's where I should put it, I need to redesign the room to add this modular as my shelf is full.....

    Just got an email mentioned the DO shipped out. Took a little bit longer than previous shipments.

    Ordered my 1st DO 3 days ago as well, and order status is still "in warehouse". Would this be an OOS item already. I suspect LEGO should have had plenty of stock of the DO.

    Parisian Restaurant - Really like the colors and the building techniques. the interior was fun to build as well Palace Cinema - First modular I build. Really like the building and with lights build in it's great. (bought the GE and FB before this one though) Town Hall - Huge and really like the building, also has an elevator. Pet Shop - Not sure why, but I really do not like this one better than the others. Grand Emporium - boring repetitive build, interior is empty. Only part I liked is the window cleaner Still in the box is the Fire Brigade and on order is the Detective Office.

    Nice build!! Although I think TLG will never make a set with 26 minifigs. If it could be seperated in several smaller "music" stage sets then there might be a potential. For example the base stage set, and additional your classic set (with less minifigs), a theater set, and pop concert.

    Great park, gives me some inspiration to make one tonight.. Would look great in between two buildings I guess.. Maybe adding a small pond to it with some ducks...

    @glendo Yes I know, I said a lot of people, not all. Isn't the biggest fun the building process and not the showcasing of the building? The boring building process of the GE would never pulled me back into LEGO

    I think the PR is all about the details, not the size. A lot of people complained about the lack of interior on the GE, and found the TH too big. Now TLG is giving what a lot of people were asking and yet again we are complaining. With the PR and the DO I think TLG listned to their fans.

    I think the Friends house 3315 can be easily made in into a full house with 2 copies. No experience yet with this one. Working on an 10937 myself, transforming it to an 16 wide model with a closed back, and a minimum of additional parts.

    Thanks. I'm working on some roads as well, but hadn't found those pages yet. I'm starting to build them in pieces of 16 studs long, this gives some flexibility for the modulars, and would be a little bit easier to do as there are bricks which are 16 studs long. My roads are higher than the modulars and looking into raising these as well, but this would be using a lot of bricks.. Made some road ideas in LDD, will try to add a picture later today.

    Was thinking the same thing, just an alley next to the building then wen placed next to any other building it's an alley. This would not be giving back on the interior, as it would only be 4 to 6 wide and the building still will be 26 wide.

    It's the piece count of the Town Hall which makes it more expensive. If I were you I would buy the Grand Emporium first before the other two.

    Thanks, just got myself the 10937 Arkham and will start building next week. Want to transform it into a modular but would like to create some extra fences.
